The newly revealed PS5 logo is exactly what you thought it was going to be.
Sony has officially unveiled the logo for the PlayStation 5, and, well... yep, it's exactly what anyone on the planet could've guessed it would be. It's the letter P... followed by the letter S... followed by the number 5, all in that familiar font that we know and love. Well, I never... those geniuses have done it again.
Sony revealed the logo at CES 2020, the big tech conference in Las Vegas. It's easy to imagine crowds going utterly wild for this: two letters and a number presented in an entirely predictable way, prefaced by the iconic PlayStation logo.
Just imagine the excitement in this room...

Three tribes gather in a clearing, groggy from spending a night sleeping on the ground. They know what the day will bring: multiple challenges followed by tribal councils where they vote each other out of the game. The winner will be named the Sole Survivor.
Among the contestants are some familiar faces: Survivor: Millenials vs. Generation X contestants Adam Klein and Sunday Burquest, Survivor runners-up Susie Smith and Carolyn Rivera, Survivor: Cagayan alpha male Lj McKanas and John Raymond, a first boot from Survivor: Thailand.

The Challenge: Free Agents wrapped Thursday night, with a reunion that showed some unseen footage from the past season. They were the last loved one pair in Survivor: Blood vs. Water, and they got there by very different means. Ciera Eastin was on the outs early so laid low, but then emerged in the back half of the season as risk-taker willing to vote out her own mom and gamble an immediate exit via a colored rock for the chance to improve her position. Mother Laura Morett, however, stuck around simply by destroying anyone that dared to face her at Redemption Island. Eventually, however, their time ran out. However we figured we would get the mother-daughter combo back together...

Gervase Peterson had “early boot” written all over him when he showed up to play Survivor: Blood vs. Water. After all, he had not played in 13 years, And the one time he did play back in season 1 of Borneo, he was best known for being freaked out by the food challenge and walking through a running challenge when he was out of eyesight from the rest of his tribe. But when presented this time with an opportunity to make a big move and vote out one of his biggest alliance members in Aras, Gervase took it. And that move brought...

Tina Wesson and Ciera Eastin fell just short of making the Final 3 on "Survivor: Blood vs. Water," but they are happy for Tyson and tell Zap2it that they'd both go back in a heartbeat.
Zap2it: Are you glad you went back on "Survivor", Tina? Is it getting harder each time you go back? It's not like you're an old woman, but the game looks so exhausting.
Tina: You are so funny. Absolutely, I'm glad. Even if I'm 80, I'll still go back. Yes, it does get a whole lot harder for me, both physically and how the game has morphed. It is such a psychological game. It used to be you formed your alliance and it stayed true the whole time. Now, you form your alliance and five minutes later there's another alliance. It's extremely stressful.
Did you consider voting for anyone other than Tyson to win the money?...

It felt weird, right? Having a Big Brother player on Survivor just seemed kind of odd. But Hayden Moss fit right in the second he hit the beach for Blood vs. Water. And the Big Brother champion almost added a Survivor title to his collection. Alas, he was finally voted out and then lost the duel that could have gotten him back into the game. Tina Wesson viewed this season of Survivor: Blood vs. Water as her shot at redemption. After going from first (winning The Australian Outback) to worst (being the initial person kicked out of All-Stars), Tina wanted to prove she still had the chops to go all the way. And she almost did, falling just a single day short, after making it back into the game off of Redemption Island, but then being booted once again in the very last vote-off. Of course, all of that seems insignificant now after Tina’s son Taylor was killed in a car accident just two weeks ago.

Wow! Time away from the island really does a body good. Warning: Finale Spoilers Below! The stars of "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" proved they look a lot different when not fending for themselves in the jungles of the Philippines, showing up to the finale party looking clean, dapper and totally refreshed. While stars like Hayden Moss and winner Tyson Apostol looked like hairy, scraggly messes in the last episodes of the season, it's been almost 6 months since they filmed those back in May and June -- and they've put that time to good use!We can't believe how different Hayden looks without a beard, all that long hair and with a shirt on. It's a good look for him.Other stars from the season at the event included Tina Wesson, her daughter Katie, Monica and Brad Culpepper, Gervase Peterson and Ciera Eastin.Check out their incredible transformations in the gallery above.

Gervase Peterson, who joined "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" after not having competed on the show since Season 1, took third place during the finale behind Tyson Apostol and Monica Culpepper. He tells Zap2it that he did consider flipping on Tyson at one point.
Zap2it: Are you glad you returned to "Survivor"? What was different about this time around versus your first season?
Gervase Peterson: Absolutely ecstatic that they brought me back to play again. What was different was really the players. The game is the same, it was the players. They're a lot faster-paced with how they do things. As soon as we got to the beach, Colton came to me and he said here's our alliance -- it's me, you, Aras, Monica and Kat. I was like, "What if I don't like somebody in that alliance? I gotta play with them for 39 days?" ... That's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

The "Survivor" reunion special was heavy on the filler, which is par for the course, but there were a few highlights.
First off, Jeff Probst takes Colton Cumbie to task for joking about being on the Aarp tribe and yet the Aarp members "kicked his a**" and why did he quit? Colton says that he freaked out because there was no one there to take care of him and what he figured out is that he needs to take care of himself. Hey, that's a good lesson to learn, so good for Colton.
Next, we find out that Season 26 winner John Cochran got a job writing for Greg Garcia on "The Millers" on CBS, which is delightful. Way to go, Cochran. We prefer "Mom" and "The Crazy Ones," but it's still lovely that that happened to him.
There's a segment done with Katie and Tina, who just had a family...

Survivor is a cutthroat game with only one winner each season, but Survivor: Blood vs. Water contestant Katie Collins has discovered that in times of need, all rivalries and alliances are forgotten. Survivor Review, Season 27, Episode 13
“Out on a Limb”
Airs Wednesday at 8pm (Et) on CBS
In this current Survivor era dominated by returning players, it’s been intriguing to watch how they respond based on their previous experiences. Many over compensate and try to make big moves too early, while others avoid the target that doomed them. Monica Culpepper’s first appearance on One World showed her strength but also a vulnerable side that placed too much trust in others. It’s important to have allies, but placing too much faith in them isn’t wise. The key is recognizing what’s best for their game and if you fit in those plans. Despite more remarkable game play from Ciera to convince Monica she should flip, she makes the right choice this week and sticks with her alliance. Her situation is worse if she switches to the other side. Hayden...

Tina Wesson's daughter Katie Collins is the latest "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" castaway eliminated from the show. She tells Zap2it that she has quite the hate for white rocks now but she loved her time on the show.

She didn't sugar-coat anything. I knew going in that it was going to be difficult. But the hardest part was building friendships with your castmates. Survivor: Blood and Water did that thing I hate the most on Wednesday: It forced another hot person to haul his stuff into the darkness, but not in a sexy Herb Ritts way. We’re down another stud, and that leaves us with one impenetrable question: Is Tyson simply the undisputed dictator of this operation? Think about that important essay question as I explore five other salient thoughts I had during the episode.
1. Remember that time Tyson quoted Harvey Milk?
I find myself wanting to hate Tyson because his overconfidence is mostly unwarranted, but the bony bastard really gives fantastic quote (like last week’s “I hid the immunity idol in my crotch where no one would suspect a bulge” brilliance; Dangerfield levels of self-deprecation occurring there). This week is no exception. Following last week’s tribal council where Hayden used spare witchcraft from Big Brother to trick Katie...

Meanwhile, back in the main game, Tyson expressed how annoyed he was with Monica's constant game-talking as she just couldn't seem to shut up after the last tribal counsel, lol!! Hayden also did a little gloating about the major game-changing scrambling he did at the last tribal counsel. Next, they showed Redemption Island dual footage with Laura M,Tina, and Katie. The challenge consisted of them, having to construct a bamboo stick that's long enough to hook key rings back to their side side of a cage,so they can unlock themselves from it. The first two to achieve it, got to move on. Power competitor, Laura M, pulled out a first place finish ,again,...

Tyson is irritated that Gervase let it loose that Hayden was going home because Hayden had nothing to lose and his craziness worked. But Tyson loves the game, so he's appreciative of the game play and the Tribal Council shenanigans. Tyson's great. However, Tyson finally has to reveal that he has the hidden Idol because Monica won't shut up about Hayden or Ciera finding it. It doesn't sit well with her that Tyson didn't tell them before now. Will she consider changing sides?...

Hayden and Ciera tried every trick in the book to get Monica to flip away from Tyson and Gervase, calling Tyson a “villain” and insisting that he said “vicious rude things” about her. It was a good effort, but the timing of these revelations suddenly coming out just before Tribal Council could not help but make them suspect, and Monica stayed put.

Survivor 27,Blood Vs Water eliminated Katie Collins in episode 12 tonight. Tonight's episode, kicked off with conversation footage. Hayden called Tyson out right in front of everyone, saying, he would win this game if he made it to the end. From there, Tyson started plotting Hayden's demise with Monica and some of the others in his alliance. Next, they showed Redemption Island dual footage with Caleb, Laura M, and Tina. In the challenge, they had to stack wooden cards up to a certain point for the win, or build their stack up higher than the others before 30 minutes ran out. Laura M finished ,first, by stacking her cards up to the designated point, while Tina was able to beat out Caleb by keeping her stack higher than his as his stack fell with just 10 seconds left on the clock. It was a tough break for Caleb, and got him ousted for good.
