Loiter Squad might be gone, but that doesn't mean Tyler, the Creator is done making crazy things for TV. He's still doing it. Just now he's truly doing it straight from his brain, "without restrictions and bullshit." That sentiment sure feels alive and well in The Jellies, his animated series about a family of jellyfish and their adopted non-jellyfish son. Tyler's version of a bildungsroman? Ma-a-aybe — just with ten times as much violence, sex-related stuff, and cussing as Catcher in the Rye. The show, which features music from Tyler and the voices of Ofwgkta, was co-written by Lionel Boyce and animated by Augenblick Studios (Golan the Insatiable). You can watch the teaser here, and if you like what you see, the first episode's available on the rapper's Golf Media app (first two months free):New episodes will drop every Sunday at 6 p.m. Pst.

Tyler, the Creator — the odd and future king of the hip-hop collective Ofwgkta — decided to wax sentimental Wednesday night, and people are losing their marbles because of it. Going through some of his old Tumblr posts, the rapper began a tweet-spree about how he misses his crew as well as the good old days. He reminisced about messing up his leg, making "Trouble on My Mind," and putting slugs on the faces of sleeping people. Oh, and here's what everybody's making a fuss about: He also kind of dropped a bomb along the way, implying that Odd Future might be "no more."Initial reports have presumed that the "7 letters" refer to Ofwgkta (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, the full name of the Odd Future collective), but Tyler hasn't yet elaborated on the tweet and what it could mean. (At time of publication he also hadn't yet...

Russell Simmons' recently launched All Def Digital YouTube network will predominantly spotlight young, talented artists looking to gain a wider audience, but one of its first series takes an inside look at a trio of well known hip-hop personalities. Odd World: MellowHigh follows three members of the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All collective--Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and Left Brain--as they record the first album for their new project, MellowHigh. Though Hodgy, Domo, and Left haven't not achieved the same level of mainstream attention as fellow Odd Future members Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, and Earl Sweatshirt, they share the same youthful energy and in-your-face attitude that has helped make Odd Future into one of hip-hop's most controversial groups. Therefore, while Odd World will spend plenty of time in the studio, we can expect MellowHigh to throw out plenty of surprises. "I mean this is MellowHigh,...

Waking up to smoke a cigarette in boxers and a jacket from the thrift store down the road. Dancing with an aging ballerina who can still fit into her unitard. Lounging in a brown water pool. Earl Sweatshirt’s “Whoa” (which you can see below and which is Nsfw) is clearly a glimpse into the glamorous life of a new rap phenom. The newest offering from the rising star of the Odd Future record label proves not only is he one of the best talents from the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All crew, but that we can surely expect more great must videos featuring tracks off his latest album, Doris. Earl gets help from Tyler, The Creator on the hook and the video. He has a clear influence on the visuals of all things Odd Future and (despite directing 'Whoa' under his Wolf Haley moniker) this video is no exception.

While you're hoping for a return of In Living Color, you might want to check out this sketch comedy series that airs on Sunday nights on the Adult Swim network, titled, Loiter Squad. Despite now in its second season, I actually never heard of the series until late last week when I received an email from a rep at Turner Broadcasting, alerting me to it. Tyler, Lionel, Jasper and Taco are back for a second season of shenanigans in Loiter Squad, a 15 minute live-action show that features sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. The cast, featuring the Los Angeles collective of rappers, artists, and skateboarders, channel their...

After an insane, garden-gnome-filled performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last month, the slacker-rappers of Odd Future plan to accost your television set yet again. This time with their own series for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block of programming. The hip-hop collective is currently producing a pilot, which the band's management describes as "a mixture of Jackass and Chappelle's Show." Anyone remotely familiar either the youthful California group's in-your-face beats or Adult Swim's Adhd aesthetic knows this is a match made in stoner heaven. We can only imagine Tyler, the Creator getting kicked in the balls while spouting out ridiculous rhymes. If only we could set our DVRs for shows that don't quite exist [...]...

Can you believe it's already March? One-sixth of 2011 is already gone, and in those two months there have already been some great moments on late night television (mostly thanks to David Letterman's embrace of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models and Jimmy Fallon's insistence on booking Odd Future and Bel Biv Devoe in the span of a week). There will certainly be more on tap moving forward, starting with this week, which features a number of great actors and killer musical acts. You'll get some of everything on "The Tonight Show," including Matt Damon and musical guest Cake (Tuesday, March 1), Simon Cowell (Wednesday, March 2) and Jerry Seinfeld (Thursday, March 3). Over on "The Late Show With David Letterman," the host will sit down with "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone (Monday, February 28th), "Red Riding Hood" star Amanda Seyfried (Tuesday), "The Celebrity Apprentice" host Donald Trump (Wednesday) and...

These guys may very well be the future. Or at least get props from Justin Bieber sometime soon.
For Thursday's (February 24) "RapFix Live," MTV News caught up with the guys of Los Angeles hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All on a bus from NYC to Philadelphia shortly after their "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" performance.
"I'm this close to Justin Bieber acknowledging me," rapper Tyler, the Creator joked of their Internet fame.
While hanging out on the bus, the guys said their brand of hip-hop is so different that it makes them a bit uncomfortable to label their shows as "rap."
"We're so opposite," Tyler said. "If you go to any other rapper's show, they just stand there and rap.
