Sometimes, the people who make the biggest difference aren’t the ones who grab the spotlight. In “Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie,” we get to see firsthand how our lovable introvert, Marcie, makes a monumental difference from behind the scenes for both her friends and her community. To train for the school golf championship, Marcie assists Peppermint Patty as her caddie, offering thoughtful and deliberate advice to help her win. Meanwhile, after coming up with brilliant solutions to her classmates’ problems – from hallway traffic jams to lunchtime pizza shortages – Marcie is unexpectedly elected as class president … a role she never wanted.
Suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Marcie struggles to cope with the expectations of her new job and retreats as far from the public eye as possible. As the golf championship begins, Marcie is still in hiding and Peppermint Patty is forced to tee off with Charlie Brown filling in as her caddie.

It’s still Caillou‘s world, we’re all just living (and swimming) in it.
The proof of that is in TVLine’s exclusive first look at Caillou: Adventures With Grandma and Grandpa, a new CGI special hitting Peacock on Thursday, Aug. 25. The titular tyke can’t wait to go swimming with his grandparents, and it’s quite literally all he — or anyone else in his family — can talk about. “Peanuts” is back for a new Earth Day special on Apple TV+, titled “It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown.” The program follows Sally’s bond with a special little flower on the baseball field that may spell disaster for the big game. For Charlie Brown and the team, it’s just the inspiration they need to make a positive impact on their environment.
On Thursday, the streamer released a trailer for the special, which also features an original song from Ben Folds. The sneak peek, which you can watch above, begins with the Peanuts’ baseball game getting interrupted by Sally, who is smack dab in the middle of the field talking to her favorite flower.

Kevin Smith is taking another crack at “The Green Hornet.”
Smith, who already has a “Green Hornet” comic book series based on the un-produced feature screenplay he was hired to write by Miramax under his belt, is developing an animated version of “Green Hornet” with kids content producer WildBrain.
The new series will be targeted at a family audience, while retaining many elements from the comics, including the titular character’s high-tech car, the “Black Beauty.”
Set in contemporary times, the new series will follow the adventures of a re-imagined Green Hornet and Kato – now the grown son of the original Green Hornet and the daughter of the original Kato – as they partner to battle crime in Century City.
“It’s an honor to escort the legendary Green Hornet and Kato into their very own animated series for the first time in the rich history of these iconic pop culture characters!

Exclusive: Kevin Smith is reuniting with The Green Hornet in a new animated series.
The Clerks filmmaker has teamed up with kids producer WildBrain to develop a new series based on the classic superhero franchise.
Smith has long been a fan of the Green HorneT; in 2004, he was hired to write a feature film screenplay based on the character for Miramax. That project never materialized on screen – it was subsequently written by and starred Seth Rogen, directed by Michael Gondry and released in 2011.
However, the Mallrats filmmaker did turn his screenplay into a comic book series. He wrote the first four issue story arc of the series, which was published by Dynamite Entertainment in 2010.
