Be it power-packed battles or giant robots, the Gundam by Yoshiyuki Tomino is one of the iconic mecha anime of all time. The anime is popular for its futuristic visuals and depiction of realism. With mecha often reduced to stereotypes, the profound meaning and themes behind it are lost in translation.

Have you finished tearing up, Riverdale fans? The ending of Riverdale Season 7 Episode 19 hit like a ton of emotional bricks.
The penultimate episode of Riverdale was a satisfying and touching trip down memory lane.
"Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Six: The Golden Age of Television" balanced both winding down the stories of Riverdale Season 7 and honoring the series. If we didn't have a series finale coming up, this could've been a sweet end to the story.
Much like Tabitha's angelic twist, this chapter weaves both worlds together -- the two sides of Riverdale we have come to know: (1) the six seasons of the original Riverdale and (2) the reboot set in 1955.
We can't get into the group's big decision without discussing how they've come so far.
Having the town right their wrongs was a long time coming.
People like Dr. Werthers and Principal Featherhead had been controlling things with an iron fist.

“Full House Rewind” host Dave Coulier is pressing pause on his “Full House” rewatch podcast in solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strike.
The podcast follows Coulier as he reminisces about playing Joey Gladstone, takes audiences through some of the most hilarious and heartfelt moments from “Full House” and offers exclusive behind-the-scenes stories and interviews with special guests.
“‘Full House Rewind’ is unique in that we’re both a podcast and a TV show all rolled into one, and we started recording our episodes before the SAG-AFTRA strike. And according to their most recent announcement, members who are part of rewatch podcasts are required to either stop recording, pivot their shows to new subject matter or shoot without guests,” Coulier said in a video posted to Instagram.
“Well, ‘Full House’ is considered struck work,” the actor continued. “So we’re going to press pause on ‘Full House Rewind’ until the the strike has been resolved.

This article contains MCU spoilers
Superheroes love their pets. Shortly after Superman debuted the genre in 1938, he and his other tights and capes friends gained their own pet sidekicks, including Beppo the Super-Monkey, Ace the Bat-hound, and Comet the Super-Horse. Although Marvel’s hipper approach in the early 60s precluded pet sidekicks as much as it did teen sidekicks, super-powered animals soon made their way onto Earth 616, including the Inhumans’ transporter Lockjaw, and Brightwind, the Asgardian pegasus of New Mutant Mirage.
While some of these creatures have made their way into live-action, the MCU has been a bit slower to debut super-powered animals, at least as pet sidekicks. As Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 shows, animals with powers deserve their own character arcs, even if it’s as small as Cosmo getting mad at being called a bad dog. These animals aren’t really pets as much as they are members of the team!

Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis are teaming for an Amazon series based on Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta novels, Variety has confirmed with sources.
Kidman would star as Scarpetta with Curtis playing her sister, Dorothy. Sources say that deals for the show are not yet done, but that it is nearing a two-season order of eight episodes each at the streamer.
Reps for Amazon declined to comment.
Liz Sarnoff will write the series and serve as executive producer and showrunner. Kidman and Per Saari will executive produce via Blossom Films, while Curtis will executive produce via Comet Pictures. Blumhouse Television’s Jason Blum, Chris McCumber and Jeremy Gold also executive produce. Curtis is currently under a first-look deal with Blumhouse.
Cornwell has written over 20 books in the Scarpetta series. Scarpetta starts out as the Chief Medical Examiner for the Commonwealth of Virginia in the books before becoming a private forensic consultant.

Exclusive: Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta books have completed their long journey to the screen with a blockbuster TV series starring Oscar winner Nicole Kidman in the title role and Oscar nominee Jamie Lee Curtis as the famous forensic pathologist’s sister Dorothy, I have learned. Kidman is executive producing through Blossom Films and Curtis through Comet Pictures the drama, from writer-showrunner Liz Sarnoff (Barry) and Blumhouse Television, which I hear is nearing a two-season straight-to-series order at Prime Video. A rep for the streamer declined comment as deals for the project, to be produced by Amazon Studios and Blumhouse, are still being finalized. It is expected to receive an order for two eight-episode seasons, sources said.
