Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Allison Holker are one of the cutest dance couples around, so it's pretty fitting that their love story actually started on So You Think You Can Dance. Allison previously competed on the show during season two, while Stephen was the runner-up for season four. The couple briefly met during season two, when mutual friend Ivan Koumaev invited them to a party, but they didn't really connect until season seven, when they were both performing as All-Stars.
Though the two barely spoke to each other the whole season, they clearly had an attraction. "I didn't just make one move - I made, like, 10 moves and he wasn't seeing them, so I had to put myself out there even more," Allison told Dance Spirit in 2012. "From the first week of Sytycd as All-Stars, I thought he was the cutest guy ever. His personality was so fun.

Based on their outstanding careers forged on international co-productions, 24 up-and-coming players in the European film industry have been selected to take part in European Film Promotion's (Efp) networking platform Producers on the Move. Now in its 15th year, Efp spotlights emerging European producers at the Cannes Film Festival from May 17-19 and helps them embark on successful cooperation with their similarly ambitious Producers on the Move colleagues from all over Europe.
The programas been financially supported by the Media Program (2007-2013) of the European Union and the participating Efp member organizations who each made a careful selection of their national participants according to specific criteria.
The schedule of Producers on the Move includes working sessions, one-to-one speed-dating meetings and various opportunities to exchange knowledge and follow up discussions on future projects. In addition, Efp will be teaming up with the European cultural channel Arte and the pan-European co-production fund Eurimages for Producers on the Move. For the first time, Eurimages has prepared a case study exclusively for Efp's program to be discussed under the direction of Eurimages Executive Director Roberto Olla.
He points out the importance of programs such as Producers on the Move:
“This is the 4th consecutive year that Eurimages is involved with this initiative which perfectly marries our objectives of encouraging co-operation between producers so as to stimulate cinematographic co-productions and of promoting their international distribution. Further to the success of the collaboration at the Cannes Festival, the Eurimages Fund has strengthened its partnership with European Film Promotion through other initiatives which also seek to unite professionals from the European film industry in order to participate in its development on an international level.”
Looking back at previous editions, Efp's programme results each year in several new trans-national co-productions and gives the producers a higher profile in Cannes. For 2013, almost all of the participants are still in contact with one another and 17 co-productions are in development.
One recent success story is the coming-of-age feature The Word, directed by Anna Kazejak and co-produced by two Producers on the Move from 2011, Lukasz Dzieciol(Opus Film, Poland) and Jesper Morthorst (Sf Film Production, Denmark). The film was released in Poland in March after its premiere at the Berlinale in the Generation sidebar.
Currently in post is Dirk Ohm - The Illusionist That Disappeared, directed by Bobbie Peers. The producer Maria Ekerhovd (Mer Film As, Norway), joined forces for this film with her Producers on the Move colleague from 2011, Gian-Piero Ringel (Neue Road Movies, Germany) and the 2010 Producers on the Move, Lizette Jonjic (Migma Film, Sweden). Norway has scheduled the release for September 2014. Ekerhovd and Ringel also worked together for two further projects: Every Thing Will Be Fine by Wim Wenders and the six episodes for Cathedrals of Culture which have been presented at this year’s Berlinale.

It's finale night, dance fans. Who are going to be the winners of "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 10? We'll get to that, as we'll be live-blogging the whole almost-2-hour event as it unfolds. Almost 2-hours you say? Yes, there will be a bit of a break while the President addresses the nation. But we'll be here when it returns.
7:57 pm: Refresh often. We'll be updating as we watch. Do you need a recap of last week's routines? Here you go. We will also be embedding available videos as we have them.
8:00 pm: They waste no time by jumping in and introducing the full Top 20, and the judges - Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, Adam Shankman, Paula Abdul, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy. Cat Deeley and Nigel remind us that there's no judging tonight - this is just a celebration of the dancers. The results are in. We...

Fox has put together a mesmerizing supercut of 200 memorable So You Think You Can Dance moves — spanning all eight seasons — in preparation for Wednesday night’s 200th episode celebration (8-10 p.m. Et). This video’s got everything: crotch thrusts, nerd costumes, a dominatrix slapping a man in a sequined vest, presidential candidates debating furiously in sync, partial nudity, and a table. Highly recommended. Watch:
At first I was looking for specific dancers (Allison and Ivan, “Why” can’t I find you?) but it’s much more rewarding to just relax, let your eyes unfocus a little, and treat the...

In the eight seasons of So You Think You Can Dance, tonight’s show was the most exciting I’ve ever had. If Lady Gaga wasn’t enough, throw in film director Rob Marshall onto the judging panel! It was so surreal to sit next to celebrities that I admire that have so adored our show from the beginning. You know they are true fans when, during commercial breaks, they are chatting about contestants from season 1. How cool is that? And if the judging panel didn’t do it for you, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, and Katie Holmes were in the audience.

Lady Gaga and Rob Marshall join Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy on the judging panel
So You Think You Can Dance performance evenings are often best watched via DVR. That way you can fast forward through the judges' comments. After all, it's the dancing you tune in for, not Mary Murphy's tamale train screams, Nigel Lythgoe's macho-policing, or the fawnings of various nervous guest judges. Those are usually annoying distractions from the often brilliant performances.
But last night almost flipped that equation. Even though the dance numbers were stellar – arguably the best overall night of performances this season – it turned out to be the patter at the judges' table that was absolutely riveting.
You can thank Lady Gaga for that. There she was perched next to Nigel in an absolutely ridiculous get-up (okay, what else is new), but she carried herself with such intelligence, aplomb and emotional generosity...

Mitchell Kelly and Clarice Ordaz were eliminated from So You Think You Can dance last night, as the top ten became the top eight!
The result was announced during last night’s live results show, after the two dancers received among the lowest amount of public votes following their performances the night before.
Joining them in the bottom four were Ricky Jaime and Jordan Casanova and all the unlucky contestants were asked to perform a solo routine, for what may have been their last time on the hit Fox dance show.
Broadway star Neil Patrick Harris joined regular judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy for the week and after deliberating over the fate of the talented hopefuls, the trio were unanimous in their decision to eliminate Mitchell Kelly and Clarice Ordaz.

On tonight’s So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 results show, Nigel Lythgoe pulled a shocker by performing a routine called “Dance of the Softies: Marshmallow Man.” Yes, folks, after Cat Deeley did her worst and announced this week’s Bottom 4 contestants, our head judge and executive producer took things in a surprisingly kind and gentle direction, telling the four at-risk dancers that he didn’t have anything bad to say about them, and didn’t have any advice for them about how to improve their performance or technique. “I’m sorry two of you are going home. 16 movies later, Ivan “Flipz” Velez is a dancer with a resume to die for. Appearing in some of the most watched dance movies made including “Step Up 3D,” “Stomp The Yard,” “You Got Served,” “Idle Wild,” “B-Girl,” “Honey” and the upcoming “Honey 2,” his credits are flippin’ insane! Ivan was first influenced by Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee. He said that at the age of 7 years old, he would recreate the moves to “Billy Jean,” “Thriller” and “Beat It” by Michael Jackson. After his parents grounded him from dancing for a while after they thought his dancing was just a “waste of time,” he got the bug again on October 19, 1995. Ivan said, “I met a guy who is now my best friend in the entire world. His name is Abstract. He was a house dancer who came from New York to Florida and he inspired me. We did a little talent...

The dancing partners change every week! There will be no Top 20! Less than four dancers compete in the finale! Today, Nigel and Fox finally announced the reason for all these big-time changes: Instead of dancing with each other, the season's top 10 contestants will dance with a rotating, as-yet-unannounced all-star roster of Sytycd alumni. Boom. What does this mean?...

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum's longtime friend Adam Shankman ("So You Think You Can Dance" judge and producer of all the 'Step Up' films) is also producing this year's Oscars with Bill Mechanic.
Industry news site Deadline Hollywood is throwing out some Oscar spoilers by reporting that there may be a larger focus on younger viewers this year in the telecast. Supposedly, the way they're going to achieve that goal is to have up and comers like Chan, Taylor Lautner, and Zac Efron participate in the show.
At this point, this is purely a Rumor, but Adam did confirm via Twitter that the show will be packed with Sytycd favorites like "Travis, Ivan, Jaimie, Kayla, Ellenore, Russell, Jakob, Kathryn, Nick Lazzarini, Legacy, Channing, Lil C, Kupono & more".
It's a huge honor to be involved with the Oscars in any form or fashion, so if this rumor is true,...

In this morning’s roundup of Oscar news ‘n’ notes from around the web, Tarantino names his inspirations, Queen Bigelow gets her court and Adam Shankman hires a lot of dancers.
Adam Shankman tweets a detail about the Oscar show: “Fyi: there's 69 dancers this year... To mark tonight's season premiere of So You Think You Can Dance, we asked season 4 fan favorite Stephen "tWitch" Boss -- he and partner Katee Shean performed Mia Michaels' Emmy-nominated routine to "Mercy" (a.k.a. "The Door Dance") -- to pick his favorite Sytycd performances of all time. His list, "in no particular order," follows. 15. Ade and Melissa, "This Woman’s Work" (season 5) Choreographed by Tyce Diorio "I’m definitely in tears writing about this one. There was power, trust, hope, understanding, compassion, sincerity, anger, fear, and all of the other underlying things that come along when you or someone you know goes through this experience . Everyone who felt the power of this piece was connected on what the meaning of unconditional love really is and should be. Through it all, love stands, and no matter what, no matter how messed-up or not to our liking the situation may be,...

Last night, So You Think You Can Dance reminded us it'll be On Again, Starting In One Week! with a $#@%ing delightful clip show of The 15 Best Routines Ever. (Compare them to PopWatch's own 15 Greatest Routines) We've seen them all before, and the only original footage was Uncle Nige standing alone on the stage and shouting, so I know this shouldn't have been a huge deal. But hello! It just was. I kept getting the pricklies after seeing some of my favorite moments -- and ones I'd forgotten -- in HD instead of a tiny YouTube screen. I feel I can't even explain this in words, so after the jump, behold my very random (Mia's old hair!) and highly subjective 15 Most Goosebumpy Screengrabs of the So You Think You Can Dance Special. Dance-tv fatigue? Me? Never. It's Janette! Aggggggggggghhhhhh! Give it up...for Hok! Mia's Former Hair Nick and Melody Oh,...

15. Pasha & Sara's West Coast Swing Season 3, Top 14, July 11, 2007 "Oh, jeebus," we all (or, at least I) thought. "That camera-mugging doofus from season 2, Benji, is choreographing a West Coast swing number. And poor Pasha and Sara have just started working as partners, too. What kind of hot mess is this gonna be?" Turns out the joke was on us (or just me). The season 2 Sytycd champion pulled out all his signature moves — the shoe slide, the double cartwheel — but it was Pasha and Sara (i.e., the breaker who was not supposed to be able to do this) that brought the number home, performing as if they'd been swing dancing together for years and keeping the energy dialed to 11 without ever showing us the effort. 14. Lacey & Kameron's Contemporary Season 3, Top 20, June 13, 2007 In hindsight, there's actually not much to this Mia Michaels routine: Lacey's apparently upset, and she flails around a lot,...

Full disclosure: I'm a rabid So You Think You Can Dance fan. Every summer for the past four years the talent on display on this show simply blows every other reality competition out of the water. So much so, that one can even overlook the nagging, hetero-cheerleading presence of producer Nigel Lythgoe on the judging panel.
Nigel's peculiar obsession with the masculinity of male dancers aside, Sytycd raises your standards when it comes to dance. I mean, once you start watching this show it is awfully hard to sit through an episode of Dancing with the Stars.
Sytycd is now in its fifth season, and every year we wonder if they can assemble dancers talented enough to stack up against previous season standouts such as Travis Wall, Danny Tidwell, Neil Haskell, and a host of others.
Well, last week the show announced its finalists for the new season, and the...
