Last night's "Real Time with Bill Maher" with the tighter, more focused panel was excellent for the additional substance and insight Bill's guests had to offer. Maher should book more moderate Republicans alongside educated and thoughtful celebrities/writers like Hill Harper, Arianna Huffington and Christopher Hitchens. Much like putting the guest list together for a perfect party, it's all in the mix of personalities. The panelists, Fmr. Ambassador John Bolton Fmr. Rep. Heather Wilson (R-nm), armed with their level of insiders knowledge and perspective made Bill a better moderator and challenged him to more robust debate, without the show devolving in to a cheap laughs free-for-all.
