Apparently he's taking his tough, security guard skills home with him. "Project X" actor Nick Nervies has been arrested for domestic violence, TMZ reports.
Nervies, who played one half of the tween security guard duo in the extreme, found-footage party movie, allegedly got violent with his girlfriend.
Law enforcement sources tell the website that deputies received a call from someone around 4:30 pm Saturday (Sept. 14) claiming the 18-year-old actor had been arguing with his girlfriend and it escalated into physical fighting.
When the police arrived the alleged victim had minor injuries, and Nervies was handcuffed and taken to jail where he was booked on misdemeanor domestic violence charges.

In 2011 Warner Bros. invited audiences to exclusive screenings of the new creation from director Nima Nourizadeh. “An epic, dirty, hilarious movie. I wish I was there!” “Funny as hell!” and “Superbad on crack!” were just some of the reactions. The exclusive screening was for the new Warner Bros. film Project X – the party movie to end all party movies - and today we want to offer you the chance to watch the film at the special screening and party hard at the exclusive after-party in London.
Project X follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget… but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. Project X is a warning to parents and police everywhere.

I guess I just don’t get it. Being the kid that would rather pick up an extra shift at my hourly job than attend an epic rager the likes no one has ever seen means the insanity that ensues in Project X only cements the fact I made the decision staying away. Directed by Nima Nourizadeh and the brainchild of Michael Bacall, Matt Drake and producer Todd Phillips, the idea that what we’re seeing is real has been squashed way before you sit down to experience the carnage. Rather than believe the title is some covert codename for a guerilla shoot, it’s quickly discovered to be one more jokey quip on behalf of Costa (Oliver Cooper) as he readies to put best friend Thomas’ (Thomas Mann) parent’s house on the line in order to ‘change the game’.

Title: Project X Directed By: Nima Nourizadeh Starring: Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Dax Flame, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Brady Hender, Nick Nervies, Alexis Knapp, Miles Teller Forget the videogames that have your kids blowing people’s heads off; keep your teens away from Project X. Once you’re past your partying prime, Nima Nourizadeh’s directorial debut is a safe watch, but for those feeling out the high school party scene, this movie will only fill their minds with bad and ludicrous ideas. But then that begs the question, who is Project X even for? Really only a select few who can find enjoyment in an experience more than a story,...

BFFs Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus each earn equally one spot at the Young Artist Awards this year under the television category. The first two are included for their roles in TV movie "Princess Protection Program" while Miley is in for her leading role on "Hannah Montana".
In terms of the number, it is Miranda Cosgrove and her show "iCarly" that earn the most. Beside the actress herself who is nominated for Best Performance in a TV Series by a Leading Actress, the whole cast are nominated for Outstanding Young Performers in a TV Series. Additionally, Nathan Kress and Joey Luthman land a nod each in supporting actor and recurring categories respectively.
However, Nate Hartley adds one for "Hannah Montana" in the guest starring category. As for Gomez's "Wizards of Waverly Place", it is Jake T. Austin who gets a nod, while as for Lovato's "Sonny with a Chance...

When I saw the first trailer for the new comedy Role Models, starring Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott, I had to watch it a couple of times to see if the funny stuck around for subsequent viewings. It did.
The new Red Band trailer for Role Models popped up on Trailer Addict, and if you haven't seen the first one, you'll probably think it's pretty damn funny, too. See, I'm too familiar with it now to be taken completely off-guard, although there are some key new additions, especially the drawing Nick Nervies is working on. Oh, the imagination of a child.
So take a look at the new trailer, and Red Band means unrated, so there's filthy stuff here. You've been warned.
Because I like the cast, especially Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, and Jane Lynch, I have high hopes for this one. Heck, we're even Facebook friends. Role Models comes out on November 14th.

It pained me to say it at the time, but Paul Rudd - one of my favorite comedic actors and based on a couple of interviews I've done with him, one of the truly cool guys in the business - was in the worst movie of the year until The Love Guru came out. That movie is Over Her Dead Body. It's atrocious. I suppose the only comfort is Paul looks uncomfortable the whole time, as if he knows it's lousy. Since it was only bad and amateurish and stupid and not all of those things plus offensive the way The Love Guru was, it was elevated to the second worst movie of the year.
I'll excuse his walk-on in Forgetting Sarah Marshall from this discussion and get straight to the point: With Role Models, he appears to be back on track.
It's not often that a slacker comedy makes...
