Just when the Frasers thought they could find some peace within their own ridge, the realities of living in the Carolina wilds among warring men came back at haunt them on Sunday night’s “Journeycake” episode with the return of the Brown brothers. Add in murdered families, burnt down homes, and a bit of the show’s signature time travel, and the episode was another packed installment that ended with one (or potentially more) of the Fraser crew in jeopardy.
There’s been beef between the Frasers and the Browns ever since Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) helped Isaiah Morton (Jon Tarcy) and Alicia Brown (Anna Burnett) escape with their unborn baby, and even more so after the Browns shot Morton in the back during the Battle of Alamance (and broke Claire’s syringe). So when the brothers descended on the ridge with a small group of men...

Warning: This recap, by its very nature, contains major spoilers about Sunday’s Outlander
Rationally, I know that this week’s Outlander was written, filmed, edited and locked down months ago. So there’s no way that my — and part of the fandom’s — voicing our grievances with last week’s episode had any bearing on anything that happens on screen in this Sunday’s installment. But “The Ballad of Roger Mac” is so well crafted, so well acted and so heartbreakingly fulfilling that it almost feels as though we collectively dreamed it into being.

With the addition of Alicia Brown as a consultant to the team, Hawaii Five-0 is talking more about psychology and its effects on the body. Admittedly, the week’s case takes it to an extreme as their killer has multiple personality disorder. On the most basic level, most psychological and psychiatric disorders have a similar root in stress. Stress is not good for your emotional or physical health. Danny takes this point to his own extreme when it comes to his best friend’s health. It was only a matter of time before the gang staged an intervention for Steve. It probably

It was an hour of non-stop banter going down a bumpy road.
Yes, once again, Danny and McGarrett had an unceasing cargument under the most trying of Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 18.
McGarrett's crime: he read a scrap of paper left out on Danny's desk. Danny saw this as a violation of his space, and McGarrett naturally disagreed, all in front of a bemused tactical-teamwork training class.
Danny: You invaded my privacy. I have a right to be upset, Ok?
McGarrett: It's not snooping if something is out in the open. That's the rule.
Danny: There's no rule.
McGarrett: Are you serious? If it's not hidden, it's not forbidden. You've never heard of that?
Danny: No, I've never heard of it, because you just made it up.
Permalink: No, I've never heard of it, because you just made it up. Added: February 24, 2017
Underneath all this bluster is an unspoken affection, a bromance between the two men.

Well, at least Dr. Madison Gray finally returned.
But whether it was for the last time is still up in the air at the end of Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 17.
Gray, first unveiled on Hawaii Five-0 Season 7, Episode 4, had been a Machiavellian, behind-the-scenes character, getting serial killers to kill for her.
So it was an intriguing change of pace to have her stumble into Hpd with bloody hands, claiming to be a tourist from Wisconsin with amnesia.
This naturally fooled no one within Five-0, who knew her true identity. Especially McGarrett, who is probably still angry that she blew up his pickup. After all, cars are his to destroy.
The interesting twist is when the blood comes back as a partial match to Alicia Brown, the profiler that was kidnapped along with McGarrett by Gray.
Alicia was found alive, and clueless, by McGarrett and Grover. So the question became "What was Gray's end game"?
Alicia,...

Hawaii Five-0 revisits the serial killer who went after Steve and former FBI profiler Alicia Brown, and it doesn’t end pretty. The focus on this episode was a psychological game of cat-and-mouse where Five-0 was in the periphery. Dr. Meredith Gray returns, but not in the way you think. The team does their best to try to figure out what Gray’s long-term agenda is, but ultimately this is between the sociopath and her living victim. A killer doesn’t need to kill right away to accomplish their goals. Sometimes they need to twist the knife first. The day started off well

Every few episodes Hawaii Five-0 kicks up the stakes a notch. Not that the show hasn’t been running on all cylinders in its seventh season. I’m still trying to wrap my head around that unbelievable chase sequence in the season premiere. When the show introduced Dr. Alicia Brown as a retired FBI profiler, we expected her to be useful to the team. As it turns out, the team, Steve McGarrett in particular, has been useful to her. This week climaxes the serial killer story which has been built up since the season premiere. Five-0 is pretty special, but the real

Bobbi Kristina Brown's family and friends gathered at her funeral in Alpharetta, Ga, on Saturday. Bobbi, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was remembered during a service at Saint James United Methodist Church. Mourners included father Bobby and stepmom Alicia Brown, aunt Pat Houston, and singer Monica. The group arrived at the church in black limos, which were escorted by police on motorcycles. At one point, Pat's speech was reportedly interrupted by Leolah Brown, one of Bobbi's aunts from her father's side of the family. "Pat, you know you are wrong for this!" she reportedly yelled. According to media on the scene, Leolah exited the church and told reporters, "This has only just begun. . . . We are onto Pat, and she will be found out. She is a Garland, not a Houston. Whitney will rise from her grave to haunt her." Relations between the Houston and...
