Jimmy Page and Gibson have teamed up for the 1969 Eds-1275 Doubleneck Collector’s Edition guitar.
A recreation of Page’s iconic doublenecked guitar, the new signature model is a holy grail replica for both Led Zeppelin fans and guitar collectors.
Only 50 of the instruments were made using Gibson’s 3D scanning technology and ultra-precise Murphy Lab aging techniques, essentially cloning Page’s original, right down to the exact playing wear — every knick and scratch — and sonic characteristics.
Each axe comes hand-signed and physically played by Page himself using a Herco Flex pick that is included with each specific serialized guitar. In addition, a collection of ephemera curated by Page is housed inside the special “Zoso” hardcase: a “Certificate of Authenticity Book” with a photo taken by Barrie Wentzell; a wooden pick display for the Herco pick; a premium cherry/black leather Strap and vintage replica strap; Schaller strap locks; an...

The Morrison Hotel Gallery has shared three previously unreleased photos of Tina Turner that will be part of an upcoming online exhibition, One Woman Show, opening March 25th.
The sequin dress series at the top of this post was taken by Norman Seeff in Los Angeles in 1983. “Working with Tina is like being exposed to a nuclear reactor,” Seeff said in a statement. “She exudes a primordial energy that comes from the muse of her creativity. I was shooting so fast to keep up with her that I blew my strobe.

On Thanksgiving Day 1976, the Band and an array of special guests famously gathered at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco to play their final show, The Last Waltz. Forty-four years later, on the same day the concert took place — and one day before Thanksgiving 2020 — the Morrison Hotel Gallery is launching a new online exhibition featuring never-before-seen photographs from that concert and other moments in the Band’s history.
The exhibit launches Wednesday, November 25th, and features photos by Elliott Landy, Ed Perlstein, Neal Preston, Ken Regan, Norman Seeff, and Barrie Wentzell.

"Ten years of that was, uh, a fun party... You should've been there!" Cleopatra Entertainment has released an official trailer for a rock doc titled Melody Makers, which has been in the works for years premiering originally at the Whistler Film Festival in 2016. The film is about the legendary British rock n' roll magazine called "Melody Maker", which first launched in 1926. The documentary focuses on Melody Maker's Chief Contributing Photographer (from 1965-1975), Barrie Wentzell, who tells the story of the rise and fall of the magazine, which marked the end to a style of rock n' roll journalism that no longer exists today. Featuring appearances by Wentzell, Steve 'Abbo' Abbot, Ian Anderson, Eric Burdon, and others. Not just another rock doc, a rock doc with a specific focus on journalism and the rock fans who followed these bands for decades. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Leslie Ann Coles' doc Melody Makers,...
