When Raven Osborne was in third grade, her teacher told her that the classwork was too hard for her and she wasn’t an A student.
Well, Osborne certainly proved that teacher wrong.
The 18-year-old just picked up her college diploma — two weeks before she even graduates from high school, and she’s doing it as a straight-a student and valedictorian.

The “Talk Score to Me: Emerging Filmmakers on Collaborating with Composers” panel at the Los Angeles Film Festival was an interesting concept that brought together up-and-coming filmmakers with the composers who created the original (and affordable) music for their respective short films. Ascap and Project Involve put together a Composers Workshop that gave these four filmmakers (Erin Li, Mason Richards, Susana Casares, and Aaron Celious) the opportunity to select from eight different composers through a “speed dating session” to decide who they would want to collaborate with on their films. The guideline for their films was “California Stories” that took on the idea of democracy. Each filmmaker took this idea in a different direction with four shorts that each tackled this topic, but in very unique ways. Moderated by composer Art Ford, each director screened their shorts and then took to the stage with their respective composers to explain their different processes and experiences working together. One person from the ‘Breaking Dawn’ cast has a song on the record — is it R-Patz?
The epic track list for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 soundtrack has been released, and we’re So excited!
Sadly, Robert Pattinson does not appear on the record, but we’re thrilled to hear all of the new songs! And we’re even more excited to hear Mia Maestro — who plays Carmen in the movie — flex her pipes on one of the tracks.
Fans will also be thrilled to know that “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” (Wedding Version) by Iron & Wine seems to be the wedding song, and “Love Death Birth” by Carter Burwell will likely accompany the birth scene.
1) “End Tapes” – By The Joy Formidable
2) “Love Will Take You” – By Angus & Julia Stone
3) “It Will Rain” – By Bruno Mars
4) “Turning Page” – By Sleeping At Last

While I’m thrilled they’re throwing in a reference to the original Twilight with ‘Flightless Bird’, I have to admit I’m pretty bitterly disappointed that there’s no Muse. I definitely realize that they could still be included in Breaking Dawn – Part 2, but that’s really not helping me right now. I mean really? Breaking Dawn is dedicated to Muse. But I’ve never understood the obsession to have completely new music either, I’d take old Muse any day! I think the baseball scene in Twilight is still one of the most popular scenes in the entire Saga to this day, and Muse’s ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ was definitely not written for the movie. Ah well, I’ll wait to fully judge when I actually hear it, because it does still contain some awesome bands like The Joy Formidable.
Currently you can pre-order the soundtrack on Amazon here.
