In today’s politically correct laden climate, you have to have some sort of balance… even in daytime talk shows.
New York Daily News reports that Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, the masterminds behind the ABC gabfest The View, are putting their heads together for second round table discussion show, this time making sure to inject a man’s perspective in the mix. While everything is in the ‘hush hush’ development stage of things, some goals are already for certain, such as time slot preference, shooting location preference, and a wish list of hosts to assume the daily duties on the show.
The dream time slot will be the ones that The Oprah Winfrey Show will vacate once that show ends next Spring, that way ‘nouveau’ View wouldn’t interfere with the flagship show. The preferred location would be Los Angeles to give the show a different atmosphere and feel than its potential counterpart.

Plus Jeff Lewis is flipeeing out, an Rnc powerhouse comes out, and Jensen Ackles Nude! (from the waist up).
Birthday cupcakes go out to out metal God Rob Halford (59) and Alexander Skarsgard (34).
So, former Rnc Chairman Ken Mehlman is about to come out. I think Joe.My.God. sums it up best. Below you can see a sneak peek at next week's Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special. I don't watch any of the Housewives shows regularly, but occasionally I'll tune in, and my favorite has always been Danielle. Why? Because she always seems to amplify the bat crap craziness of those around her. Especially Theresa, who takes out her frustrations on poor cross-eyed Andy Cohen. (I can call him that because Kathy Griffin does).
Laineygossip has shirtless pics of gorgeous Supernatural star Jensen Ackles playing soccer, along with the complaint I've seen a tighter body. Yeah, get over...

Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, who created ABC hit talk show "The View," are developing a "unisex" spinoff of the show that would add a male perspective.
Walters and Geddie envision it being produced in L.A. instead of New York, where "The View" is based, the Daily News reported Wednesday. It would be for an afternoon time slot, which Oprah Winfrey's talk show is expected to leave next year.
Similar to their evergreen ABC show, the spinoff would feature five co-hosts discussing a range of topical subjects. On the duo's wish list of hosts, according to the paper, are former "Today" show host Bryant Gumbel,
Filipino-American comedian Alec Mapa ("Ugly Betty"), former Bet news anchor Jacque Reid and former Fox News host E.D. Hill.
An ABC spokesman had no comment when asked about the potential spinoff.

Here's today's Coffee Talk scoop -- "The View" has a great line-up of Black TV stars for July, including Jacque Reid and Bryant Gumbel. Usher is releasing his second album this year. A new line of condoms remind us of the days when all we wanted was a new Game Boy. Plus, guess which married man is showing off his chiseled body for all the ladies to see.

Let’s get ready to rumbllllllle!
ABC is determined to milk this thing dry, apparently! I suppose they noticed how much mileage they got out of their 7-minute report on the matter late last year, given the loads of coverage it got across the blogosphere – all the debates and discussions it inspired. Although, I’m not sure if any answers were reached, or solutions provided, as is often the case with these matters, since few are actually interested in getting to root causes. But they sure are ratings boosts, aren’t they?
Anyway, for those interested, ABC’s Nightline will host a Live Debate, tomorrow night, April 9, at 7Pm, in Decatur, Ga, with the topic being: Why can’t successful black women find black men?
Steve Harvey (of course, who else?) and ABC’s Vicki Mabrey of Nightline will co-moderate the live debate, which ABC is calling a “Face-Off.” It’s a title bout folks,...
