“This is where you want to be, the finale. It just feels like a dream come true,” says “Top Chef: Houston” champion Buddha Lo at the start of the “World All-Stars” finale episode, “Fin.” “I want to be the greatest of all time.”
“I came from a poor family. My whole life I was feeling like the underdog,” says “Top Chef Mexico” winner Gabri Rodriguez. “And now I survived against the best chefs around the world … This cat’s got more than nine lives.”
“I am f*cking pumped to be back at this point again. I really want it,” says “Top Chef: Kentucky” runner-up Sara Bradley. “I’m going to do what I do best, staying true to myself and my food and cook my heart out … This time I’m fighting it out for all the moms and the women.”

“Top Chef: World All-Stars” is down to its final four: Ali Al Ghzawi (Middle East and North Africa), Buddha Lo (Houston), Tom Goetter (Germany), and Gabriel Rodriguez (Mexico). But really it’s the final five, as Tom reminds Gabri at the start of episode 12, “Goodbye, London.” That’s because last week marked the finale of “Last Chance Kitchen,” which means one eliminated chef is coming back into the competition. But who will it be? Tom and Gabri speculate about Dale MacKay and Nicole Gomes, but fans who have kept up with “Lck” know that it’s really between last week‘s ousted chef Sara Bradley and “Street Food Fight‘s” eliminated contestant Charbel Hayek. So who is it?

By the time the ninth Wellington is served, an audible sigh of relief emerges from the six remaining Top Chef: World All-Stars contestants. The chefs, divided into three teams for the purpose of today’s elimination challenge, look exhausted, and deservedly so. Each team has just prepped, cooked, and delivered three different Wellington dishes — a fish Wellington, a meat Wellington, and a dessert Wellington — which require an incredible amount of technical precision, particularly when serving them to four judges and 20 diners.

“I’m sad, but I’m one of the seven chefs left and I’m here to win. With money I can make a culinary school in Africa. It’s not for me to buy lip gloss. No, I really want to help my people,” says Victoire at the start of “Top Chef: World All-Stars” episode 10, “Thali Time.” She just had to say goodbye to her friend Nicole Gomes at the end of “Restaurant Wars” in one of the season’s most emotional ousters. So the stakes are as high as ever.
The seven remaining competitors playing for the $250,000 grand prize are Ali Al Ghzawi (Middle East and North Africa), Sara Bradley (Kentucky), Victoire Gouloubi (Italy), Buddha Lo (Houston), Tom Goetter (Germany), Gabriel Rodriguez (Mexico), and Amar Santana (California).

Everyone starts “Top Chef: World All-Stars” episode nine, “Restaurant Wars,” with a bit of shellshock. They just said goodbye to Charbel Hayek, who won the “London Calling” challenge at the start of the season with a risky onion dish and had never been at the bottom in an Elimination Challenge but then all of a sudden was sent home in “Street Food Fight.” They raise a glass to “onion boy,” who joins “potato girl” Sylwia Stachyra on this season’s boot list.
The eight remaining competitors playing for the $250,000 grand prize are Ali Al Ghzawi (Middle East and North Africa), Sara Bradley (Kentucky), Victoire Gouloubi (Italy), Buddha Lo (Houston), Tom Goetter (Germany), Gabriel Rodriguez (Mexico), Amar Santana (California), and Nicole Gomes (Canada).

‘Top Chef’ 20 episode 8 recap: ‘Street Food Fight’ led to a ‘Fast and Furious’ Elimination Challenge
“When I make a bad dish, I know that it’s bad,” says Victoire, lamenting her disappointing cassava cannoli from “Top Chef: World All Stars” episode seven, “Hands Off.” Luckily for her it wasn’t the worst dish of the challenge. That was Dale MacKay‘s, so he was eliminated just one episode after returning to the competition from “Last Chance Kitchen.” So what happened in episode eight, “Street Food Fight,” when the competition suddenly got a lot more demanding — and a lot faster?
The nine remaining competitors playing for the $250,000 grand prize are Ali Al Ghzawi (Middle East and North Africa), Sara Bradley (Kentucky), Charbel Hayek (Middle East and North Africa), Victoire Gouloubi (Italy), Buddha Lo (Houston), Tom Goetter (Germany), Gabriel Rodriguez (Mexico), Amar Santana (California), and Nicole Gomes (Canada).

Sometimes on “Top Chef,” the difference between a winning dish and a losing dish is just a matter of proper execution. That was the case in “Hands Off,” in which Tom Goetter made a mousse with all the right flavors but all the wrong consistency. But luckily for Goetter, it was Dale MacKay‘s flabby, flavorless chicken whose execution left the most to be desired. So Tom Colicchio welcomed MacKay back to “Last Chance Kitchen” to prove his technical ability with one of the most basic dishes in a chef’s arsenal: an omelet.
“It doesn’t feel good to be sent home twice in one season,” admits MacKay, who just fought his way back into the competition in “Top Chef is No Picnic” only to be eliminated again just a week later. “I’ve never been sent home before, so the first time was a new feeling. Second time doesn’t feel any better.

Last week’s episode of “Top Chef: World All-Stars,” “Top Chef is No Picnic,” started with 10 contestants, and it ended with … 10 contestants. But it wasn’t the same 10. “Top Chef Canada” alum Dale MacKay returned to the competition after fighting his way back through “Last Chance Kitchen,” and then “Top Chef Poland’s” Sylwia Stachyra was eliminated after a sandwich cookoff against Tom Goetter. So what kind of turbulence was in store for the chefs in episode seven, “Hands Off.” Read on to find out.

There was a bit of a surprise at the end of “Top Chef” season 20, episode six, “Top Chef is No Picnic.” The judges decided that Tom Goetter and Sylwia Stachyra were on the losing team and had the two worst dishes of the luxurious picnic challenge. One of them would stay and one of them would go. But there was a catch. “Come with me,” Padma Lakshmi told them. So they left Judges’ Table and made their way to two outdoor cooking stations. It would be a “Last Chance Kitchen” cookoff to decide who stays in the competition and who’s eliminated. Watch it above.

The eliminated chefs from Bravo’s Top Chef: World All Stars have been battling it out in Last Chance Kitchen to return to the competition. However, it ends next week during episode six when one officially re-enters.
Luciana Berry was eliminated from ‘Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen’
Top Chef Spain Season 1 winner Begoña Rodrigo’s “leftover” stew sent her to Last Chance Kitchen to battle it out with Brasil Season 2 champ Luciana Berry and Canada Season 1 winner Dale MacKay for a final opportunity to return to the competition.
The chefs were tasked with creating a three-course meal, including a crunchy, creamy, and chewy dish. Begoña immediately claimed the chewy one, leaving Luciana with crunchy and Dale with creamy. Unknowingly, the Spain and Brasil winners chose to make squab, but Begoña’s dish stood out as the favorite as her sauce impressed judge Tom Colicchio.

Last week’s “Spurred Lines” team challenge on “Top Chef” was a tough one, ending with three friends having to face each other in a cookoff to decide the elimination. Luciana Berry from “Top Chef Brazil” was the unlucky contestant who ultimately had to pack her knives and go just one week after winning the “Cheeky Pints and Pub Bites” challenge. This game can be very unforgiving. So what happened in episode five, “Holiday Vacation”? Read on to find out.

For Top Chef Season 20, contestants who competed in international versions of the Bravo cooking competition show, including many who won or finished in the finals, returned for World All-Stars. By episode 3, four chefs have been eliminated from the main competition. However, they can win their way back into the game by competing in Last Chance Kitchen. Two chefs have already been officially eliminated.
Samuel Albert is the first officially eliminated from ‘Top Chef: World All-Stars’
Top Chef: France winner Samuel Albert was the first eliminated when he failed to deliver in the vegetable-forward dish challenge. He faced Top Chef: Portland finalist Dawn Burrell in the first episode of Last Chance Kitchen as her crispy rice cut her from the main competition.
The two were tasked with recreating their former winning dishes using the same protein in 30 minutes. Sam decided to incorporate his Japanese French fusion into the salmon-based dish, but the time constraint concerned him.
