The super judge of ‘Superstar Singer 3’, Neha Kakkar was left amazed by the extraordinary singing of Pune’s Devansh Bhate, who performed the mesmerising song ‘Ketaki Gulab Juhi’, and said his talent is remarkable.
During the auditions, Devansh mesmerised with his melodious voice as he performed a soulful rendition of ‘Ketaki Gulab Juhi’ from the 1956 movie ‘Basant Bahar’. The song is originally sung by Manna Dey and Bhimsen Joshi.

Mumbai, Aug 17 (Ians) Legendary classical vocalist and Padma Vibhushan recipient Pandit Jasraj passed away on Monday in the US at the age of 90. The news was confirmed by his daughter Durga Jasraj.
"With profound grief we inform, that Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj ji breathed his last this morning at 5:15 am Est due to a cardiac arrest, at home in New Jersey, USA. May Lord Krishna welcome him lovingly through the doors of heaven, where Pandit ji will now sing Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya exclusively just for his beloved Lord. We pray that his soul rests in eternal musical peace," Durga said in a statement.

New Delhi, June 30: It was sheer curiosity that led to a beautiful serendipity which has now become a mission for author-classical singer Vikram Sampath, who has created an archive of Indian classical music, Carnatic music, folk music and speeches from the pre-Independence era, digitised them and built a national treasure online.
The Archive of Indian Music(Aim) is a museum of sorts to listen to the golden voices of bygone era. The recordings span 1902 to 1952 and boast of many known and unknown names like Bhimsen Joshi, Devika Rani, Abdul Karim Khan, Hirabai Barodekar and Madurai Mani Iyer among others. It can be accessed at www.archiveofindianmusic.org.
