Nearly three years after Gabby Petito’s remains were discovered following her disappearance while on a cross-country trip with her then-fiancé Brian Laundrie, the FBI has released more than 350 pages of documents from the investigation surrounding the incident. Appearing just over 100 pages into the release is a letter that Petito wrote to Laundrie, who was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound a month after Petito was found.
In the handwritten letter, which doesn’t note when it was written, Petito wrote: “You know how much I love you, so...

An undated love letter from Gabby Petito to her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, was among the evidence recently released by the FBI, showing Petito pleaded with Laundrie to “stop calling me names” and expressed how much she loved him before their ill-fated road trip in 2021.
“Brian, you know how much I love you, so (and I’m writing this with love), just please stop crying and stop calling me names because we are a team, and I’m here with you,” Petito wrote in the letter obtained by the FBI during its investigation.
The 22-year-old travel blogger apologized for getting upset over an unspecified argument, saying, “Yes, I can be a child sometimes, I know, but it’s cause you give me this energy, and I just love you too much, like so much it hurts.”

Nearly two years after the murder of Gabby Petito, an undated letter from Brian Laundrie’s mother, Roberta Laundrie, revealed that she would help her son dispose of a body.
“Burn after reading” was written on the envelope the letter was in.
The letter in question is now being used as evidence against the Laundrie family, with the Petito family further pushing their claim that Brian’s parents knew about Gabby’s death before she was reported missing.

In a statement released by the Laundrie’s family attorney, Steven Bertolino, Roberta argued that the letter was “in no way related to Gabby,” and that she only meant to communicate with him “during a difficult period in [their] relationship.”
“I truly loved my son,” she said. “And simply wanted to convey to him how much he meant to me and how much I loved him.

Jeopardy! is a beloved TV game show. Since its creation in 1964, the show has risen to popularity. But like many game shows, Jeopardy! has had its share of controversies. Many of which stem from their clues.
Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek I Amanda Edwards/Getty Images ‘Jeopardy!’ received backlash for an ‘offensive’ clue to reference a disease
The premise of Jeopardy! is different from many game shows. What makes the show unique is the contestant must answer in the form of a question when responding to clues. Each round of jeopardy consists simple and hard clues in different categories.
There have been times where the clues has sparked controversy. According to Entertainment Tonight, the show received criticism in June 2021 for using an offensive clue describing postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (Pots). Guest host Savannah Guthrie read the clue referencing the disorder, “Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is also known as Grinch syndrome because this organ is too small.

Murdered blogger Gabby Petito took a photo of her scratched and bloody face mere minutes before a bystander called in a domestic violence report against Brian Laundrie.
Petito family lawyer Brian Stewart alleges that police pulled the couple over at 4:55 p.m. on August 12, 2021, just two weeks before Petito’s death.
Stewart points out that the photo suggests cuts to Petito’s cheek and blood smeared across her forehead, left eye, cheek and nose.
The reporter of the incident told police that he witnessed Laundrie, 23, slapping and punching Petito, 22, in a parking lot in Moab, Utah.
“Gabby pointed out the injury to Officer Pratt, but he ignored her and did nothing more to investigate or document the injury,” Stewart said.
In body-cam footage of the traffic stop one of the officers said Petito was the “primary aggressor,” and another officer told Laundrie that he was a “victim of domestic assault.

Gabby Petito’s parents are now suing Steven Bertolino, the attorney representing Brian Laundrie’s parents. The family has alleged that the lawyer knew their daughter was dead during the search for her in September 2021.
Gabby, 22, was strangled on a road trip in Wyoming with Brian, 23, last summer. Her body was found in September 2021 and her death was ruled a homicide by manual strangulation and blunt-force trauma to the head and neck.
A month later, Brian was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Brian had penned a confession that was found near his body.
“I ended her life,” the note said. “I thought it was merciful, that is what she wanted, but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked. I was in shock.”
In September 2021, Bertolino said that the Laundrie family hoped “that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is reunited with her family.

In June, an attorney for his parents, who are being sued by Petito's parents, released excerpts from a letter Laundrie had written in a notebook before he died of suicide. Brian Laundrie's notes containing his confession to killing his fiancée Gabby Petito have been released. The FBI had said in a January press release that Laundrie, who died by suicide, left behind a notebook containing "written statements" that claimed "responsibility for Ms. Petito's death." On June 24, an attorney for his parents, who are being sued by the YouTuber's family over her death, released copies of the notes, which were partially smeared from what appeared to be water damage. "I ended her life," Laundrie wrote. "I thought it was merciful, that it is what she wanted, but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked, I was...

Brian Laundrie wanted people to believe that he killed Gabby Petito because she was badly injured. The contents of his notebook, which authorities found near his remains in a Florida swamp last October — and which the FBI announced in January included a confession — have been shared by the Laundrie family attorney, according to NBC News New York. The photos show a multi-page suicide note, still legible after being underwater for several weeks.

Friday night’s Game 3 of the 2021 World Series on Fox scored a 1.9 in demos and a total viewership of 9.37 million, as fans tuned in to see the Atlanta Braves take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven matchup.
Although baseball won the night, so far the overall ratings for the World Series are down. Game 2 saw 10.28 million viewers tune in, the second-lowest number in World Series history, ahead of only last year’s Game 2 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays. Game 1 was equally dismal, with 10.811 million viewers, also the second-lowest mark in history for corresponding games in history.
The bright side of those numbers is that they’re up from 2020, which was a Covid-19 shortened season. Baseball also outdraws every sport but the NFL.
Elsewhere, ABC’s Shark Tank held steady with an 0.5, a slight increase in demos and in total viewership from last week. Later, ABC newsmag 20/20 also grew slightly,...
