While on one hand his next film with girlfriend Preeti Desai titled One By Two has kick started in full swing, on the other, his next titled Bounty Hunter recently got its producer. Making Bounty Hunter an international venture, Abhay Deol found a producer in UK based Collin Burrows from Special Treat Productions. Being one of Abhay's most ambitious ventures, the film which was supposed to be made in English will now be made in Hindi as per Burrows' wish. Bollywood actor-producer Abhay Deol’s i.e. Films is joining forces with Colin Burrows UK-based Special Treats Productions to co-produce Bounty Hunter.
Deol will star in the UK-set thriller to be directed by brothers Sunandan and Yugesh Walia, who will also co-produce through their UK-based production company Endboard Productions.
The producers aim to raise half of the project’s financing from the UK and are currently seeking Indian partners for the remaining 50%.
“We were going to make the film in English but we are now considering making it in Hindi,” Burrows said. “We are in talks with UK funding sources and also looking for an equal Indian partner with the vision to do a Hindi-language British thriller headlining a Bollywood star.”
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures is releasing i.e. Films’ first feature, comedy drama One By Two, on February 7. The film is directed by Devika Bhagat and stars Deol and Preeti Desai.

Yugesh Walia has revealed that he is searching for actors from India. The producer, who is making a British film about South Asian communities in the UK with his director brother Sunandan, said that there are not enough British Asian actors. "This will be more of an exploratory casting trip with an intention to see if we can cast for three characters - Kamal the male lead, Nazia the female lead and Amir, the antagonist," Walia told Ians. New Delhi, April 12 – After ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ the makers of another British film are headed to India to look for new South Asian faces for their venture and possibly ‘find the next star’.
