A documentary about Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee will premiere on Disney+ in 2023, Marvel announced on what would have been the comic book writer’s 100th birthday.
“100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee,” Marvel Entertainment tweeted Wednesday. “Stan Lee, an Original documentary, is streaming 2023 on @DisneyPlus.”

The teaser features late comic creator’s minor roles and cameos throughout his life in the eyes of his iconic sunglasses.
The documentary plans to “celebrate his legacy as the co-creator of such legendary characters as Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Thor, Silver Surfer, Ant-Man, Nick Fury, The Avengers and hundreds more.”

When George Lucas' "Star Wars" prequel trilogy came out in the late 90's and early 2000's, the reception was not very warm. With the three original movies considered such unimpeachable classics, expectations were always going to be unfairly high. But despite their predictably great success at the box office, the films were largely received with vitriol and loathing.
When the first of the new films, "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace'' came out, people found the acting flat, the aliens culturally insensitive, and the pod racing sequence too damn long. People hated the Jar Jar Binks character so much that they basically ruined the actor's life.
