Plot: Jaycen “Two Js” Jennings is a washed-up ex-professional football star who has hit rock bottom. When Jaycen is sentenced to community service coaching the Underdoggs, an unruly pee-wee football team in his hometown of Long Beach, California, he sees it as an opportunity to rebuild his public image and turn his life around. As Jaycen works to transform the foul-mouthed Underdoggs into top-notch champions, he reconnects with his past, including an old flame and a few of his ex-teammates, and rediscovers his love of the game.
Review: Underdog stories have always been popular fodder for movies. Redemption stories about athletes and tales of scrappy kids needing a mentor are equally popular. From The Bad News Bears to Little Giants and The Mighty Ducks, sports comedies have always found success. With The Underdoggs, that appeal is tested by taking the formula that made those aforementioned films successful and injecting them...

Let's kick some ice!
If there's one thing that Batman fans can agree on, it's likely that "Batman & Robin" is easily the worst Batman movie ever made. It's cheesy, nonsensical, and for some reason, it just doesn't work as well as Joel Schumacher's previous campy Dark Knight adventure, "Batman Forever." Even Bruce Wayne himself, George Clooney, can't help but mock his turn as Gotham's superhero.
However, there is something to be said about "Batman & Robin" basically being so bad that you can't help but enjoy how much of a disaster it is. The absolutely awful version of Bane, Arnold Schwarzenegger's terrible ice puns as Mr. Freeze, and Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson competing over who gets to fertilize Poison Ivy's flowers -- there's something for everyone to point and laugh at.
At the same time, you can't deny that every single one of the chief characters...

28 years after Drew Barrymore's Sugar first appeared in Batman Forever, the niche character made a surprising return in the latest episode of Max's Harley Quinn.
For those that might not remember exactly who Sugar was, in the 1995 film, she was one of Two-Face's sidekicks—specifically that of the villain's good side.
Sugar would go on to work alongside both Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face and Jim Carrey's Riddler in trying to take down Batman.

American superhero show ‘Gotham Knights’ ended its run after Season 1, as The CW network decided not to renew the show for Season 2. Actor Misha Collins, who was playing District Attorney Harvey Dent in the series, had slowly begun transforming into his villain alter ego Two-Face, finally turning into him during the season finale.
However, as the show got scrapped after that moment, Collins said that he had hoped to further explore the character.
While the actor had earlier expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of the show on social media, speaking to Deadline, he said: “Well, as the series winds up, we’re really just getting introduced to the Two Face character, and it would have been rich and rewarding to have explored him devolving down the road and the inevitable fights to bring Harvey back, which would, of course, have involved a tremendous amount of inner turmoil.”
He added:...

Warning: This contains spoilers for Not Going Out
Back in 2015, during a BBC Breakfast interview about series seven of Not Going Out, presenter Bill Turnbull asked Lee Mack: “Did you ever imagine when you first got that pilot that you’d get seven series?”
“I didn’t think we’d even get a series,” Mack answers incredulously, explaining that even going from script to a pilot episode felt like “the biggest hurdle”.
And yet, eight years later (17 since the show began in 2006), Not Going Out has now almost doubled its series from seven to 13, still regularly pulling in audiences of over four million, with the newest series arriving on BBC One on Friday 23rd June at 9pm. As ever, the show will focus on Lee Mack as a fictionalised version of himself, alongside his landlady-turned-wife and sparring partner Lucy, and their eventful and often farcical life together.

Just one summer ago, as the theatrical distribution model teetered on the precipice of doom in the aftermath of the Covid-19 epidemic, a decades-in-the-making legacyquel emerged to shatter expectations and become one of the biggest hits of 2022 With a $719 million domestic box office total—$1.49 billion worldwide—Paramount and Skydance Media’s Top Gun: Maverick became a surprise critical and audience favorite, going on to score six Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
With its gravity-defying jet fighter maneuvers, director Joseph Kosinski’s wildly entertaining sequel to the 1986 original thrilled audiences by putting them in the pilot’s seat. Rather than shooting with a green screen and in flight simulators, Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and producer/actor Tom Cruise (ace aviator Pete “Maverick” Mitchell) wanted to capture all the action from inside the cockpit of an F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet, with the actors strapped on board Irl for the wild ride.

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from the series premiere of The CW‘s Gotham Knights.
The CW’s Gotham Knights premiered Monday and, with it, Misha Collins made his return to the network, about three years after the end of his 12-season run on Supernatural.
In Gotham Knights, Collins plays Harvey Dent, Gotham’s charismatic, hard-charging District Attorney. With a rigid sense of right and wrong, Harvey’s idealism and single-minded quest for justice will ironically and tragically transform him into one of Gotham’s most feared supervillains, Two-Face.
The series picks up in the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s murder, with his rebellious adopted son forging an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. In the season premiere, Dent is still the straight-laced Da, who is desperately trying to solve Wayne’s murder and take care of his son.

This Veterans Day, take a moment to honor someone who took the time out to serve our country in the military. And barring that, watch a film or show featuring one of these Hollywood stars who will most definitely be celebrating Veterans Day on Monday. Some of the actors on this list have military careers that date all the way back to World War II. And while this list excludes celebrities who have passed away, including people like James Stewart, Elvis Presley and Bea Arthur, there’s more than enough patriotism on this list to go around.

His arraignment is scheduled for August 19.
