Not that it will stop Adam Sandler from continuing to make increasingly shitacular movies, but it is kind of nice to finally see his cinematic abominations get recognized for the truly awful pieces of filmmaking they are.
Yesterday, appropriately on April Fool's Day, the Razzies handed out their statues for the best of the worst, and "Jack And Jill" swept the ceremony winning an award in every category. It was the first time in the history of Razzies that the feat was accomplished. So, congratulations Sandler, Dennis Dugan (who also won for "directing" "Just Go With It"), Al Pacino, Katie Holmes and everyone else -- you are now a part of a movie that will forever go down as one of the worst in movie history....until "Grown Ups 2."
Anyway, take a look below at the categories and see the hall of shame in all its glory. [24 Frames]

A round of applause is deserved for Adam Sandler and Dennis Dugan. After breaking the Razzie nomination record, they have now set another milestone with their Jack & Jill winning every single category, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished its 32-year history. The ceremonies occurred last night and one can see the winners below, in which Sandler received both worst actor and actress, an accomplishment I don’t see repeating any time soon. Well, until the inevitable Jack & Jill 2.

We were all a bit disappointed when the Razzie Awards moved away from the Oscars to end up on April Fool’s day but fortunately the awards have now been held and just as we thought, Adam Sandler’s Jack and Jill has swept the board picking up awards in all 10 categories which include Worst Actor, worst Actress, Worst Film, Worst Director and Worst screenplay. I’ve placed the full list below for your viewing pleasure!
Love these awards because they’re always completely bonkers! Roll on 2013!

The 32nd Annual Razzie Awards observed several momentous firsts Sunday night. The celebration of the worst in filmmaking held its Santa Monica, Calif. ceremony on April 1 — i.e. April Fools Day — for the first time, breaking from its tradition of presenting its honors on the night before the Academy Awards. And for the first time in Razzie history, one film “won” every single Golden Raspberry handed out: Jack and Jill.
Yup, the Adam Sandler comedy about an ad exec (Sandler) and his obnoxious sister (also Sandler) earned Worst Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, Screenplay, and even the “Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel” award.

"Jack & Jill," starring Adam Sandler as both Jack And Jill, sets a new record by becoming the first film in the 32-year history of the Razzies to win every single category. The Razzies, of course, is the anti-Oscars meant to "honor" the worst movies of the year.

"Jack and Jill," the Adam Sandler gender-bending comedy, is predicted to win seven of the 10 races at the Razzie Awards on April Fool's Day. Sandler, who has prevailed with just of his nine previous Razzie bids (Worst Actor: "Big Daddy," 1999), is expected to take home four prizes on Sunday. Our Editors and Users expect his limpid laffer to claim Worst Picture, Actor, Actress (both Sandler), Supporting Actor (Al Pacino), Director (Dennis Dugan), Screenplay (Sandler, Ben Zook, Steve Koren) and Couple (Sandler with himself, Pacino or Katie Holmes). Holmes is in a battle for Worst Supporting Actress with one-time underwear model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who has a slight edge (at odds of 5 to 4) for her film debut in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." "Jack and Jill" is also likely to lose Worst Remake/Rip-off/Sequel to "Breaking Dawn: Part 1," the fourth film in the "Twilight" franchise which has odds...

Us comic outdoes Eddie Murphy's 2007 record with 11 nods for awards recognising year's worst performances
A day after the Oscars claimed to highlight 2011's best movies, Adam Sandler has received a record-breaking 11 nominations for the annual Razzie awards, which aim to recognise the year's poorest performances in film.
Sandler's haul is more than double the previous individual record of five nods held by Eddie Murphy for his 2007 film Norbit, a fairly staggering indictment. Most of the nominations are for the Us comic's film Jack and Jill, in which he plays a successful advertising executive whose irritating twin sister arrives for Thanksgiving. The comedy, which itself has 12 nods, will duke it out with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, which has eight nominations. Sandler himself is up for both worst actor and worst actress, worst screenplay and worst ensemble for Jack and Jill. With his production company Happy Madison having released...

The 32nd annual Razzie Awards nominations have been announced celebrating 2011's worst achievements in film. Leading the pack with most nomination is Adam Sandler who earned a record breaking eleven nominations! These included his involvement with films such as Jack and Jill, Bucky Larson, and Just Go With It. I'm not really surprised by this, and I imagine it's not a surprise for him as well. The guy knows he's making crap movies.

So, change of plans for the the Razzies this year... they will be announcing the winners on April Fool's Day, instead of the day before the Oscars. Hilariously fitting, right? In order to continue riding the wave of Oscar press coverage, however, they decided to unveil their nominees over the weekend. I think you can probably guess most of the films that are nominated before you even read the list, but for the sake of convenience, here is a basic summary. The four most obvious targets this year are Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star and Jack & Jill, with a little bit of New Year's Eve, The Hangover: Part II and Martin Lawrence sprinkled throughout. I'm not sure how Arthur really deserves to be in here, but I digress. The big news is that Adam Sandler has...

Standing as the complete antithesis of the likes of the Academy Awards in the annual award season, the Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as the Razzies, have announced the list of nominations for their 32nd ceremony, decreeing the worst in film in 2011.
I don’t especially love the sentiment of the Razzies myself, and think it’s pretty mean to single out films in this way, but I’m sure that none of the nominees pay much, if any, attention to them, given that the nominees are often films that have done pretty successfully commercially, if not critically.
This year, Adam Sandler has a record-breaking 11 nominations, topping Eddie Murphy’s 5 nominations with Norbit a few years back. And for the first time in the thirty-two years of Razzie history, the five nominees in the Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Ensemble are all the same.

The nominations are in for the Golden Raspberry Awards 2012. And Adam Sandler leads the way, with eleven nominations…
The Golden Raspberry Awards, the Razzies, are usually given out the night before the Oscars. However, this year, things have changed, with the awards being given out this year on April 1st. That means that Oscar time has, instead, brought us the list of Razzie nominations.
Now, usually, the big accusation aimed at the Razzies, with some justification, is that it targets high profile failures, as opposed to genuinely abysmal failures. It’s an accusation that’s hard to shift, but having sat through more than a few of the movies on its list here, it’s hard to grumble too much.
Points of interest? Well, there appear to be four men up for actress awards, and it seems as if the categories have been reangled to give Adam Sandler as many...

With the best in film being awarded tonight (well, at least by a small section of old white men), it is looking to be a relatively predictable ceremony. On the other side of things, the Razzies are celebrating the absolute worst in cinema as their 2012 nominations have been revealed. Aside from the terrifying box-office, Adam Sandler is getting some well-deserved recognition.
After his involvement with Just Go With It, Jack and Jill and Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, he has racked up a record-setting 11 nominations. I certainly can’t argue with the rest of them (especially hatred for Trespass), but surprised to see no consideration for Zack Snyder‘s Sucker Punch. Check out all the nominations below.

Usually held one day before the Academy Awards, this year the Razzies are changing the game a bit, choosing instead to unveil their nominations this weekend, with the ceremony to take place on April 1st -- that's right, April Fools Day. So who earned the distinction in 2011 of the best at being the worst? Adam Sandler.
Breaking the previously record held by Eddie Murphy, Sandler earned 11 Razzie nominations in all for the Worst Achievements In Film in the past year ("Jack & Jill" earned a total of 12 nods). Starring in two movies -- "Just Go With It" and pulling double duty in "Jack & Jill" -- in addition to producing "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star," the Razzie folks had plenty to choose from in what was a banner year for Sandler mediocrity. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" brought up the rear with seven nominations each.

On Oscar eve, Adam Sandler received some berry bad news -- all the three movies released by his Happy Madison Productions dominated the list of contenders for the 32nd Annual Razzie Awards!
Sandler beat Eddie Murphy's record for the most nominations by an individual in a single year! As either an actor, writer, and/or producer on "Jack & Jill," "Bucky Larson," and "Just Go With It," the star received 11 Razzie nominations and thereby crowned with the Worst Achievements in Film in 2011.
Sandler's abysmal cross-dressing fantasy comedy, "Jack & Jill" received 12 nods including Worst Picture. Sandler was nominated for Worst Actor for "Jack & Jill" and "Just Go With It." The actor was also nominated for Worst Actress for his role as Jill, Jack's twin sister.
Katie Holmes received a Worst Supporting Actress nod for the movie, as well as Oscar winner, Al Pacino, for gasp (!), playing himself!

Adam Sandler may not be in contention for any Oscars when Hollywood's A-listers gather for the biggest event of the entertainment year on Sunday (Feb. 26), but he can rest assured in the fact that his 2011 release, "Jack & Jill," was nominated for 12 Razzies (aka the Golden Raspberry Awards).
There are only 10 categories. Which means that "Jack & Jill" was deemed so horrible that it was nominated more than once in some categories. The movie joins such memorable screen gems as "Lonely Lady," "Showgirls" and "Battlefield Earth" in racking up more nominations than there are categories. This could set "Jack & Jill" up for a sweep of the awards when they're handed out on Sunday, April 1.
Two more Sandler productions, "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star" and "Just Go With It" are also in contention.

Sony Pictures' "Jack and Jill", the new slapstick, comedy feature starring Adam Sandler in a 'twin' role and actor Al Pacino in a parody of himself, is now in theatres, distributed by Columbia Pictures.
Directed by Dennis Dugan, "Jack and Jill" is produced by Todd Garner, Sandler and Jack Giarraputo, from a screenplay by Ben Zook, Steve Koren and Robert Smigel :
"...'Jack Sadelstein' (Sandler), a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife (Katie Holmes) and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister 'Jill' (Sandler). Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down..."
Along with Sandler, Pacino and Holmes, cast also includes Valerie Mahaffey, Eugenio Derbez, Tim Meadows, Nick Swardson, Natalie Gal, Allen Covert, Dana Carvey, Al Pacino, Regis Philbin, Shaquille O'Neal, Johnny Depp, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Norm MacDonald.

Chicago – No one will ever accuse Adam Sandler of not knowing his audience and the reason they keep coming back to his “Happy Madison” genre of films – he delivers the oddball characters, lots of bodily fluids/sounds, physical beatings and the know-it-all straight man. Add the gooey sentiment and out spews the latest, “Jack and Jill.”
Rating: 2.5/5.0
There are ardent admirers of the Sandler style, his films are huge successes. Someday he will go to the well once too often, or will get too old to get a shot in the groin, but for now “Jack and Jill” is going up the box office hill. Sandler also has crossed into the movie comic’s go-to character, a dual role as a woman (in drag). There is no nuance as he plays the twins named Jack and Jill, but nobody goes to an Adam Sandler film for subtlety.

Adam Sandler stars in the title roles of Jack and Jill, the new comedy from Happy Madison. Jack was living an almost perfect life, with the exception of one, annoying constant . his twin sister Jill. Every year he has to tolerate a Thanksgiving visit from his smothering sister, who doesn.t take long to turn his life upside down. As the weekend intrusion starts stretching into a month, the siblings fight, tease, and bicker in the way only twins can. When it becomes clear Jill is never leaving, Jack sets into motion several schemes that he hopes will return Jill to where he loves her most . the other side of the country.

Here’s the first trailer for Dennis Dugan‘s upcoming comedy Jack and Jull.
Jack Sadelstein (Adam Sandler) is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill (also Adam Sandler). Jill’s neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.
Jack and Jill also stars Katie Holmes as Sandler’s wife while Al Pacino would star as himself as well as Shaquille O’Neal who is set to make “a very small cameo” in the film.
The script has been penned by Steve Koren, Robert Smigel and Ben Zook.
Jack and Jill is scheduled to light up theaters on November 11, 2011.

We already had a little chat about the upcoming Adam Sandler comedy titled Jack and Jill, so you know that Al Pacino and Katie Holmes are already involved in the whole thing.
But today, we’re here to add another name on that cast list, because Shaquille O’Neal will appear as himself in the project as well!
Jack and Jill centers on a lady named Jill (Sandler), who turns up at her twin brother Jack’s (Sandler) Thanksgiving dinner and then won’t leave.
This means that Sandler will play both Jack and Jill, and on the other hand, Holmes would play his wife, while Pacino would star as himself. Shaq, as we said, is set to make “a very small cameo” in the film (and we very well know that Shaq has played Shaq in CB4, Good Burger, He Got Game, After the Sunset, The Kid & I, The House Bunny,...

Yes, we’re all quite confused with this cast, but it’s true.
Legendary Al Pacino and Katie Holmes are in talks to join the comedy titled Jack and Jill, with Adam Sandler already on board, not just like one (or, you better count that as two!) of the characters, but as a producer as well. You get it? Yeah, we thought so…

Katie Holmes looks set to be starring with Adam Sandler, if rumours surrounding the actress’ next career move are to be believed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress – whose A-list lifestyle with Tom Cruise often hits headlines - is said to be in talks about playing Sandler’s wife in the funny-man’s latest venture, Jack and Jill.
The film will be directed by Dennis Dugan, who has worked on several Sandler films such as, Happy Gilmore, Grown-Ups, You Don't Mess With the Zohan and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.
Ben Zook, Robert Smigel and Steve Koren concocted the screenplay for a comedy set during Thanksgiving. Sandler is producing the film with his Happy Madison partners and has already persuaded Al Pacino to appear in the film as himself.

Adam Sandler plays both of the title roles in his upcoming comedy "Jack and Jill," but he's making room for one more: Katie Holmes.
The "Batman Begins" star is in talks to join the cast as Sandler's wife, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. The Thanksgiving-set story centers on Jack (Sandler), a family man whose twin sister (also Sandler) pays a holiday visit and then doesn't leave. In a bizarre twist, the movie also stars Al Pacino ... as himself.
"Jack and Jill" will be directed by Dennis Dugan, a longtime Sandler cohort. He most recently directed the former "Saturday Night Live" comic in "Grown-Ups," "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry," but their relationship extends as far back as "Happy Gilmore."

An actor playing a set of twins isn't uncommon in comedies and dramas alike (shivers of Jeremy Irons in Dead Ringer overtake me...) but what if it's brother and sister? And what if they're played by Adam Sandler? Funny or damn creepy? Sadly it ain't a sequel to Happy Gilmore - that would be funny, Sandler playing Happy and his biker-chick sister...- but a comedy pitch called Jack & Jill written by comedian Ben Zook. No idea what it's about so for now...

Columbia Pictures has pre-emptively acquired the spec Jack and Jill, by actor-scribe Ben Zook, for Jack Giarraputo and Adam Sandler to produce via their Sony-based Happy Madison banner. The comedy would serve as a possible starring vehicle for Sandler. Todd Garner brought the project to Happy Madison, and he will also produce through his Broken Road Prods. Columbia paid $350,000 against $1 million for the comedy, whose plot line the studio is keeping under wraps, though it is known to be about fraternal twins. Zook co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in the 1999 comedy Can't Stop Dancing. Actingwise, he is working on Lifetime's Lovespring and has Tom, Dick, and Harry set up at New Line and I Hate Valentine's Day at Revolution. Zook is repped by Viviano-Feldman Entertainment and attorney Karl Austen. Sandler next appears in Sony's comedy Click. He is repped by Endeavor and Brillstein-Grey.
