The Not-We may conjure up images of a plastic green forest, a wizened wise woman and a mwah-hah-hah-ing baddie with stupid hair, but in actual fact, it's everywhere you look. Take the Not-We's when it comes to sci-fi and fantasy. Your average Not-We will snort with derision and write off fans of Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars etc as loser nerds who call their pet cats Spock and go to conventions dressed in long scarves and bow ties. Mind you, sport Not-We's will wonder why people go to games decked out in silly face paint and novelty 'look-at-me' costumes. If you're not part of the unit, there's clearly no hope left.
Xander's clearly having a case of Not-We-itis today. Another apocalypse is brewing and while the Scoobies are busy gearing up for research and heavy duty slayage, Xander's sent to the local bakery to pick up a choice of doughnuts.

The episode begins with Horatio (David Caruso) rushing back to the lab, with Starling (Roger Bart) repeating a quote from Hamlet: "Revenge delayed invites madness." Don't know if that was a jibe at himself or the CSIs wanting to bring him to book for the murders of his faculty members. Why didn't Delko (Adam Rodriguez) think about shooting out the window for air, instead of opting to carry out Calleigh (Emily Procter) and failing miserably in the attempt and dropping on top of her at one point. No, it was left to Horatio to save the day and them and for Natalia (Eva La Rue) to find Jesse (Eddie Cibrian). Also when last we saw them none of the CSIs had their lab coats on. And what happened to the lab extra in the green jumper who was propped about all over the place in the season 8 finale. They made...

A frozen Db is found at a construction site and we get to see Beckett (Stana Katic) getting ready for work, with her gun, watch and necklace with ring on it. Wearing her red coat and blue top (those being Superman's colours!) Castle (Nathan Fillion) arrived at the scene before even Esposito (Jon Heurtas) did. "My first cold case" he quips. Lanie (Tamala Jones) agrees with him, it's not funny but it's true. The Db wasn't there last night and Castle comments they may as well be looking for ruby slippers (those worn by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.) Beckett adds the bit about the flying monkeys dumping her there. Castle comments on the killer's Mo: he froze her since he either wanted to keep her as a souvenir or he dumped the Db, Beckett concludes cos he didn't want to be reminded of her. They need to look...

Marty Deeks tries to ensure his best friend/informant Ray’s safety after Ray helps send arms dealer Nelson Sanders to prison. Deeks arranges to fake Ray’s death and relocate him to Miami, but a car rented by Ray’s alias is soon spotted back in Los Angeles.
To find and protect Ray (Channon Roe), Deeks had to re-assume an intimidating, violent alias, Max Gentry. It turned out Ray had stopped by his house after renting the car. He hadn’t brought his wife Nicole into relocation with him, but had told Nicole he wanted to bring his girlfriend, Jenna. Nicole then called a gang that wanted Ray dead and told them where Ray was headed.
Catching up with Ray, Deeks discovered Jenna was pregnant and Ray was determined to be a better father than Marty’s or his own father. Ray had just found out about Jenna’s pregnancy himself,...

Despite a big drop in viewership, TNT has decided to give Dark Blue a second chance.
Dark Blue revolves around a group of Lapd officers who work so far undercover that even their coworkers and loved ones don't know what they actually do. The series stars Dylan McDermott, Omari Hardwick, Logan Marshall-Green, Nicki Aycox, Meta Golding, Tyrees Allen, Channon Roe, and Noah Bean.
While the July 2009 premiere attracted 3.5 million viewers, the ratings declined heavily over the season. The last episode brought in just 1.6 million, leading many to believe that Dark Blue would not be renewed. The show's chances weren't helped by the fact that TNT picked up NBC's discarded Southland series.
But, TNT has apparently decided to stick with Dark Blue for now and has renewed it for a second season of 10 installments. The first season aired...
