Digital marketing agency Tribal Ddb Melbourne has today launched an iPhone and iPad app for cancer charity CanTeen – which it says is a world first.
The app, called bandanna art, is a tie-in to the inaugural National Bandanna Day, where bandannas are sold to raise funds and awareness for young people living with cancer. Users can create their own personalised bandanna, have it printed and then delivered.
Ben Kidney, Tribal Ddb Melbourne’s general manager said: “National Bandanna Day marks the point when CanTeen is most visible in the market place. We wanted to leverage this opportunity, to build interest and sell more bandannas through this highly innovative application. It’s wonderful to support CanTeen while demonstrating Tribal Ddb’s passion for social creativity and technology.”
Vanessa Byrne, general manager, marketing and fundraising for CanTeen added: “The bandanna is such an integral part of who CanTeen is and means so...
