Written, directed, produced and starring Gerard Hurley, Irish feature 'The Pier' is screening at Karlovy Vary Iff 2011 as part of the 'Forum of Independents', competing for the Independent Camera Award in association with Czech Television. Northern Irish feature 'Behold the Lamb' will also be screened at the festival as part of the 'Another View' section of the festival.

The final touches are currently being put on new Irish feature film 'The Pier'. The feature from Black Equus Productions shot in and around Cork and stars Primetime Emmy nominee, Lili Taylor (High Fidelity, The Haunting), Karl Johnston (The Illusionist) and Gerard Hurley (The Pride). The feature was shot in small Cork towns including Goleen and Schull in June 2010 and is currently in post production with editor, Frank Reid (One Hundred Mornings) at his own studio.
