There were five people remaining at the start of the final hour of "The Glass House" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on ABC). We are referring to the people in the house and not the viewers, though those numbers were dwindling throughout the season as well. Things got so bleak, that CBS decided they didn't even care anymore and dropped that lawsuit alleging it was a rip-off of "Big Brother."
But the show had its faithful followers and still had $250,000 to give out. After the quick elimination of Mike -- for the second time this summer. Andrea earned a spot in the finale by winning the Challenge, while America's vote put Kevin and Jeffrey in danger. But in the end, it was Jeffrey who went home, leaving Kevin, Andrea and Erica to battle it out.
Apparently the bizarre "showmance" between Kevin and Erica that came to dominate the summer did nothing to hurt either of them.

"The Glass House" finale is here -- so for whomever is still watching, we're down to Kevin, Andrea, Erica, Jeffrey and Mike. Who do you hope wins the money?
The final three ends up being Andrea Clark, Erica Russell and Kevin Braun. After a rather weird live finale with speeches, the viewers choose to give the $250,000 to Kevin. Did the right person win? Was it a satisfying ending?
Let's see how we got there ...
The major drama in the house is that Erica likes Kevin and had no idea about his special lady friend at home (until Jeffrey tells her). And while he insists to Andrea and Mike that he doesn't like her past a drunken kiss one night, the editors show that he has said differently to her. Erica totally likes him, which is kind of sad, but Mike likens it to "Fatal Attraction." Erica doesn't strike us as...

Here we go, reality fans - ABC's answer to "Big Brother," "The Glass House." In case anyone cares, we watched the live feeds last week and so far, our favorites are Andrea, Kevin, Erica and Jeffrey. Alex is one of the most obnoxious reality players we've ever seen, due in large part to the fact that he thinks he's some awesome Dr. Will and he is So not. Also, Mike kills baby bunnies and we hope he he gets evicted first (among other things).
We meet the contestants and Alex is immediately obnoxious in that way that guys with no self-awareness often are - they think they're suave and smart and charismatic, when in fact they are lame and not that funny and not that cute. Jeffrey's "hot fat gay guy" intro is hilarious, while Apollo "believes" in a lot of things.
Gene earns major points by saying Alex...

"The Glass House" debuted its live feeds Tuesday, June 12 at from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Et. If you missed them, never fear - they weren't overly exciting today and they will be up Wednesday and Thursday every week too, at the same time.
The majority of the hour was spent with online viewers answering poll questions that were relationship-related - "Is it Ok to have sex on a first date?", "Is it Ok to marry someone outside your religion?", "What would you do if your child was gay?", etc - and then the houseguests were answering for themselves and then were told if they matched what the majority of viewers said.
It wasn't clear what the point of the exercise was, exactly. Was the show keeping score for each contestant? Will that be how the "viewers" vote on the seven-person teams for the premiere episode competition? It was a...

The feeds went down on "Big Brother 12" for a couple hours Friday (Sept. 3) and when they came back, Hayden was trapped in Pandora's Box and the other three houseguests were tearing the house apart.
Like -- stuff dumped out, cupboards open, beds messed up. The house is a wreck. They are looking for something, but we don't know exactly what they are looking for yet. Is it something to get Hayden out of Pandora's Box? Is it money? Nobody knows yet.
The trio (Lane, Enzo and Britney) have said that the Cabana Room is off-limits and production has told them that whatever it is they are looking for is in the living room or the kitchen. We'll keep you posted, "Big Brother" fans.

Big Brother is apparently getting annoyed at how boring the hamsters have become this week -- so he's trying to stir things up in the "Big Brother 12" house.
How do we know all this? Because Ragan keeps saying little snippets about his Diary Room sessions and the feeds keep cutting out so Big Brother can yell at him. Houseguests aren't supposed to talk about their Dr sessions.
After Enzo won Pov and Hayden was put up in his place, Ragan resigned himself to going home and started basically sleeping all the time. Since CBS has to make an episode out of all this, they've started in on the houseguests in their Dr sessions, trying to get Ragan to campaign to stay and trying to get Britney to vote out Hayden.
Do you guys think it'll work? It probably is in the house's best interests to get Hayden out -- he...

The "Big Brother 12" live feeds pulled a fast one -- the latest Power of Veto took place late Friday night (Aug. 27). Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.
It appears that Enzo has won the Pov. The reason we didn't know until now is because the competition took place late last night and Big Brother let the houseguests sleep until recently.
Ragan has been moping in the Cabana Room ever since the houseguests were woken up. He's on the block against Enzo, who will obviously take himself off. Presumably Britney will replace Enzo, though Lane really likes her and it would be interesting if he could be convinced to put up Hayden instead.
But barring some crazy shenanigans, it looks like Ragan is headed to the jury house this week.
Update: Thank you to Alert Commenter Beth. Apparently the feeds just pulled a fast one on us,...

Watch these extra "Big Brother 12" clips -- hilarity abounds in the hamster house this season.
First, Enzo raps while Hayden works the elliptical and randomly slurs "brigaaaaade" in the background. Is they drunk? We particularly like the giant burp right in the middle. Enzo is clearly Eminem meets "Jersey Shore."
In the second clip, we get to see extended footage of Britney being locked in Pandora's Box with Jessie. Will that boy never leave "Big Brother" behind? Poor Britney, that must've been awful.
Check back later today to find out who wins the next Power of Veto competition. "Big Brother" airs Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8 p.m. Et on CBS.

The "Big Brother 12" Zingbot 3000 was in the house for last week's Power of Veto competition -- but CBS has released some unaired footage of the 'bot's best zings.
The Zingbot dishes out:
**Hayden, Justin Bieber just called. He wants his hairdo back.
**Britney, I heard you got engaged. My congratulations to you and your brother.
**Hey Brendon, I thought I was made of a lot of silicone ... until I met your girlfriend.
**Hey Matt, when you go back to Middle Earth, please tell the other hobbits I said hello.
**Hey Meow Meow, what's your wife nickname? Woof woof?
And our personal favorite:
**Pull over, Kathy. You're going 40 in a 25 zone.
We love how the house doesn't get the Kathy joke until the Zingbot explains it. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, huh? The Ragan zing we could not make out after several listens, so if you figure it out,...

The fifth "Big Brother 12" Head of Household competition is another endurance competition, so keep checking back here for live updates throughout the night. Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.
Before the competition started, Kristen was evicted by a vote of 6 to 1. It wasn't a surprise with the Brigade at Hayden's back -- the only vote Kristen got was from Kathy. She didn't even get Ragan's vote, which was maybe a surprise. It was also revealed that the new Hoh will have a Pandora's Box temptation that will unleash the new Saboteur, Ragan. We wonder if he'll agree to be the new Saboteur?
Also, how hilarious was it that Hayden's mom thinks Kristen is crazy? More Hayden's mom, please. And apparently Kristen has a boyfriend in Philly? Scandal! If you have questions for evicted houseguest Kristen, leave them in the comments. We'll be interviewing her Friday morning (Aug.

The Saboteur twist of "Big Brother 12" looked like a dud when the first Saboteur Annie was evicted the first week. But now it's coming back -- and it's up to America to decide who gets the offer.
Pandora's Box is being utilized to introduce the new Saboteur, but it depends on who America votes for and whether he or she chooses to become the Saboteur. If he or she declines to become the new Saboteur, there will be no Saboteur after this vote. But perhaps they'll let us keep voting until we get a new one?
Who do you think would make the best Saboteur? Our initial vote after the "Big Brother" press day where we met the houseguests was Ragan. We still think he would make an excellent Saboteur and his mischievousness nature might let him agree to it. If not Ragan, Matt is our second choice.
You can vote at the CBS website,...

Matt is the third "Big Brother 12" Head of Household of the season and he has posted his Hoh blog on CBS. He nominated Andrew and Kathy, neither of whom won the Power of Veto. But the one leaving is still up in the air. Find out what Matt thinks of "Big Brother" so far.
Matt writes:
Hello America! It's your favorite guilty pleasure...the one you hate to love...the "brains" of The Brigade...the diabolical super-genius...Matt!!! Having the opportunity to write this blog to you all is actually one of the aspects of HoH that I've been looking forward to the most. Here I can tell you all my deepest darkest thoughts about all my fellow houseguests.
I should start by saying that I really do genuinely care for everyone in this house on a personal level. On a game level, however, it's anything-goes and no one's emotions are safe.

The new "Big Brother 12" Head of Household has put in his or her nominations. Do not keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled on the Hoh's identity or who is on the chopping block.
Somewhat surprisingly, considering the nature of "Big Brother," Matt as the new Hoh stayed true to what he told Ragan he would do if Ragan let him have the Hoh title -- he nominated Kathy and Andrew. Bad week to be the old people of the house.
The Power of Veto has been won by a nominee the last two weeks and they have taken themselves off. But we don't really see that happening this week. Maybe Andrew, but neither one has proven to be a powerhouse in challenges.
If nominations stay the same, who do you think is going home? Our money is on Kathy.

For the twelfth season of the popular summer reality show "Big Brother," CBS is sequestering all the houseguests. What does this mean for the show this year?
It could be nothing. But typically the first 3-5 eliminated contestants (depending on the number of houseguests) are let to return to their hometowns following their evictions. But this year, CBS tells Zap2it that all the houseguests are being sequestered. Instead of being able to speak to the first few eliminees by phone for their exit interviews, we are having to conduct them all over email.
Since this is an atypical handling of the eliminations, does this mean we'll see a houseguest return? We think it might -- because remember, a houseguest got cold feet just days before the contestants were put into the house. At that point, the premiere date and perhaps the finale date had been set, so losing a...

Lane Elenburg, a 24-year-old oil rig salesman from Decatur, TX, is one of the new hamsters on "Big Brother 12." He tells Zap2it about his strategy and how he'll probably clash with another Alpha Male.

"Big Brother 12" kicks off in just over a week and in preparation, Zap2it is launching our series of interviews with the new contestants. This time it's Britney Haynes, a 22-year-old hotel sales manager from Arkansas.
Britney tells Zap2it that she's always loved "Big Brother." "I've been a huge fan of the show for the longest time ... I've always really respected the game and now I get to be a part of it!"
Her favorite all-time players are Janelle, Will and Mike "Boogie" and her least favorites ... well, there are just too many to name them all. "Season 11, let's just put that out there. When asked why he wanted to be on "Big Brother," Enzo says, "I feel like I'm a character and there's been tons of characters on that show. I wanna express my personality because I think America and this show is gonna love me."
His favorite contestant of all time is Evel Dick. Enzo says Dick "was very funny" and "hall of fame" antics. His least favorite contestant of all time is Dan from Season 10.
"He would just talk too much, it was a little bit too much," Enzo says of Dan. "Alright bro, you're real religious, we know that, you know the book of Corinthians or whatever, take it easy. There's more to life than that.

She tells Zap2it in her exit Q&A about her experience and what she really thinks of Russell.
A lot of our readers are commenting that you didn't really do anything -- no strategy, you didn't win any challenges. How do you respond to that?
You know what, I think that there's a lot of stuff that didn't make it to the show. There's a lot of big moves I made, a lot of fights and stuff going on out there. I wasn't under the radar, I wasn't quiet, and I wanted Russell out, but then I realized he's perfect to take to the end because I'll automatically win. He assumed I didn't have any friends, but...

Jennifer Lyon, fourth-place finisher on "Survivor: Palau," passed away of breast cancer at the age of 37 in January 2010. She was given a lovely video montage during the "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" live finale show.
Lyon's diagnosis of stage three breast cancer came in 2005. She endured a double mastectomy at the time and then started her chemotherapy.
Austin Carty, a "Survivor: Panama" contestant who dated Lyon in 2007, told Us back in January when she passed away that Jenn "was a genuinely selfless, sweet-natured person. She always had a smile. She cared about every person. This has really rocked the 'Survivor' community."
Jenn was an ally of "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" contestant Tom Westman during the Palau season. When the final four vote was split between Jenn and Ian, they went to a fire-building challenge and Ian pulled out the win, leaving Jenn with a 4th-place finish. Jenn's website shows...

Season 12 of "Big Brother" is coming back to your television sets on Thursday, July 8, according to a promo that aired during the "Survivor" finale on CBS Sunday, May 16.
It's probably safe to assume the tri-weekly schedule will then pick up on Sunday, July 11 and continue until the September finale. The show traditionally airs on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights, with Thursdays being the live eviction show.
Open casting calls for the 12th edition of "Big Brother" just wrapped at the end of April, so they are most likely still narrowing down the crazypants applicants to find just the right combination for summer TV shenanigans.
Get excited, hamster fans! Only 53 days until the premiere!

The 20th season of "Survivor" is about to come to a close, while the 12th season of "Big Brother" kicks off in just a few short months. So Zap2it is doing another TV Smackdown, reality show-style. Our smackdowns, which started with a epic battle between "Bones" and "Castle," pit two TV series with similar styles against each other in a series of totally objective and scientific absolutely subjective and arbitrary tests to see how they stack up.
"Survivor" and "Big Brother" are known for demanding challenges, scheming, lying, backstabbing, blindsides and characters that range from nutjobs to masterminds. But which show comes out on top? It may be a closer race than you think.
So who wins? You'll have to check out our "Survivor" vs. "Big Brother" gallery to find out, but we want to hear your opinions below. Which reality TV show wins in your smackdown?

Rumors that "American Idol" was considering Howard Stern as Simon Cowell's replacement have mostly been laid to rest, but that doesn't actually mean Stern's statement was false.
What it could actually mean is that the preoccupation with Stern's comments about Fox's "karaoke contest" distracted us from the actual "America" we should have been focusing on.
On Friday, Feb. 5 Stern said on his radio show, "I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year -- and I did turn it down ... I'm not even sure if I want to be working. I'm waiting to see what happens."
That was all it took to set the blogosphere ablaze with the idea that "American Idol" was courting Howard Stern. This caused Stern to make some carefully-worded comments on his radio show that could be construed as if he was approached by Fox.

Unlike in Las Vegas, it seems as if whatever happens south of the Equator doesn’t necessarily stay there. Last week, South Carolina governor Mark Sanford disappeared for a brief Argentine sojourn with a mysterious lover named “Maria.” While Governor Sanford’s vacation seemed to be quite, er, “magnificent” based on a Shakespearean-like e-mail that Sanford wrote to his mistress, President Bill Clinton had a somewhat different Buenos Aires experience last week. Andrea Ricon, a former contestant on the Argentinean version of Big Brother, claims to have given Bubba a “hot” dance during the ex-presidente’s trip to raise money for his foundation the Clinton Global Initiative. Rincon claims that the “hot” dance lasted five minutes and included a shower onstage, with no nudity involved. (Who takes a shower with clothes on?) Clinton’s people are adamantly denying these allegations. His alibi? That he was back at the hotel playing the card game “Oh,...
