The good folks at Discovery Channel were kind enough to pass along to Zap2it fans this exclusive clip from Tuesday's (June 4) "Deadliest Catch" episode, showing the Bering Sea crab-fishing fleet enjoying audio of a Seattle Seahawks playoff game from January.
But when the crew of the F/V Time Bandit -- captained, for opilio-crab season, by Andy Hillstrand -- decides to celebrate in the usual way, something goes very wrong.
Watch:
Also, as "Deadliest" devotees know, Jake Anderson, a deckhand on the F/V Northwestern -- and the protege of its captain, Sig Hansen, who performed his wedding ceremony -- decided to seek advancement by moving over to the high-end fishing vessel Kiska Sea.
Anderson is still at sea, fishing (you'll have to keep watching to see on which boat), but he did have something to say on Twitter in May after his fight -- seen in the May...

Tonight (Tuesday, Aug. 7), Discovery Channel airs "Deadliest Catch: Behind the Scenes," the season 8 iteration of the annual special that shows what goes on behind the cameras capturing crab-fleet life on Alaska's Bering Sea.
Holding one of those cameras since the show's first season has been producer and cinematographer Todd Stanley (pictured above between Capt. Phil Harris, left, and his son, Josh Harris, right).
Asked what it takes to wield a camera aboard a crab boat in autumn and winter, Stanley says, "You gotta have a lot of grit. You have to have a lot of endurance. It's not easy spending long hours out there. ... It's not for everybody. The hours are long and grueling.
"I feel a lot of responsibility for the show. It's sort of my baby. I've been there since the beginning, before it was even called 'Deadliest Catch.' It's something that I take a lot of pride in.

As fans saw in last Tuesday's episode of Discovery's "Deadliest Catch," deck boss Edgar Hansen didn't show up for opilio-crab season on the F/V Northwestern, leaving former greenhorn Jake Anderson, protege of Capt. Sig Hansen (older brother of Edgar), in charge of the deck.
The Bering Sea in January 2011 didn't exactly let Anderson ease into the position.
"I'll tell you this," he tells Zap2it. "It blew almost every day and night. I'm in charge of the deck. Edgar didn't show up this season. He was mentioning it, so the deck was left up to me. The first day, it blew 50 knots, and the rest is history from there."
The rough weather just kept on coming.
"We took a big wave over the bow," recalls Anderson. "It was blowing 60 knots. It flooded the whole deck, and it flooded the port side."
