He joined the army in 1939 and got hooked in acting by appearing in training films in the service. He used GI bill to complete acting school. His debut film was Port of New York in 1949. He appeared in 60 films and 66 television series. Because of his tough looks and deep voice, he always played the heavy and was quite good at it. Neville died in 1992 in Sacramento, CA. His top 10 films include war flicks as well as film noir movies.
