Dead End (I) (2003)
10/10
Marilyn Branson

Warning: Spoilers
I simply gave it a 10.

Is not that the movies perfect, I know it has some of few flaws, dummy things that will even make you laugh. But as a whole, the movie is simply well made. Actors did great, you will really empathize with them. The dark atmosphere will make you feel uneasy, the woods, the road and the stress with all of the family around will bring you the creeps.

What impressed me the most without a doubt, whas the end of the movie. Everything is simply a kind of spooky dream, because what really happened was that Frank gets asleep while driving and everybody dies but his daugther. It's a good movie, you won't regret watching it.

Wedlock (I) (1991)
10/10
One of my childhood favorites

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know but, I have the feeling that there is some hidden message about the meaning of marrige.

I really like how the theme behind it, the betrays of sincere love from one side, the idea of the explosive Wedlock, and you have to be bond together in order to survive.

Then there is the futuristic (sci-fi) simple and elegant idea of the prision. This intro of Warden Holliday is amazing. Although there are few flaws about the necklace thing, like "still working under the water", some things like that. But in general, the idea of the prision is great.

Also what I really like the most is the non-stoping action sequences, one after the other, action will never end up. I give this movie a 10/10, also one of my favorites from infancy (I used to watch it in English, I didn't understood a thing back in those days).

An enjoyable family movie ;)

Eraserhead (1977)

cringe after cringe after cringe, but I like it.

Warning: Spoilers
I was expecting this from David Lynch, or even wors.

My first interpretation was: "danm, Henry Spencer alucinates all this", then I thought "it is an openbox movie lead to different interpretations", finally what I really think it is.

It is about real life, about a common simple man who works on printing, who has a girlfriend but at every moment, all conventional scenes transforms into little grotesque nightmares.

Nonsense or what ever it is. I like the special effects, the characters, the unconventional and the unpredictable of the film.

Is not for whatever viewer, so if you expect something "conventional", you may not like it.

A depressing film
13 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't found any bug in the plot, it is well made. But is not that astonishing as I expected to be. The most enjoyable thing is the acting of Brendan Fraser.

The movie starts with Fraser watching gay porn and jerking off. I didn't understand the necessity of that scene, but well.

The movie in general is depressing and always dramatic, although I liked the message about saying the right thing and being honest with oneself.

This movie is not that good as Requiem For A Dream or Pi, but is not a bad film. The atmosphere, the drama, the actings are all good. But personally I would have expected more.

Very original

Is a very original werewolf film, with very good performances, makeup, stages and plot. I cant argue anything about it. It's quite entertaining. I've even watched it more than once.

The description above is so bad.
1 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This film is not about bad gambling bets or crazy violent people as the description argues. Its about a misadventured and smug schoolteacher, whos arrogance leads him into a bad rough of alcoholism, flashbacks and desperate suicide in a humble and small town with nothing else to do than drink.

A very bad terrorific trip and the best film I ever seen.
