I megali outopia (2017)
More fanfare then substance
I will not comment on the substance of this documentary because there isn't any.
Technically though, viewing is unbearable because of the boring, mumbling voice of the narrator - director that is much lower in the sound mix then any kind of fanfare music they could found, along with whistling trains and pointless sound effects even on top of parts of classic mute films like Potemkin.
I guess that responsible for this chaos must be the director.
This makes the film impossible to watch it in its native language. Possibly viewers from other countries will be more lucky by the absence of the director from the sound booth and sound mixing room.
L'homme a mangé la terre (2019)
Could be alarming, but it's too late...
A rather apologetic yet shocking and spine chilling documentary about earth's exploitation.
I wish it had bigger audience even though it suggests It's too late for anything to be done.
The logical conclusion is that human, or intelligence combined with greed if you like, is doomed to self distruction.
A must see for everyone living on planet earth!
