The Godfather Part II (1974)
Outstanding Sequel
The Godfather saga continues as Michael is trying to legitimize the Corleone Family as the new Don and wipes out all of his enemies. You also get to see a backstory of Vito Andolini, Michael's father which is really fantastic. You discover how Vito came into America, how the Corleone Family was formed, how Vito took revenge etc. This movie has several sad scenes - Vito's mother's death, Fredo's death, Kay abandoning Michael and many others. The fans of the first movie in this epic trilogy will definitely enjoy watching the sequel. Robert De Niro does an awesome job by starring as the young Vito on the rise. Returning actors like Diane Keaton, Robert Duvall, James Caan, John Cazale, Talia Shire, Gianni Russo and many others also did an amazing job on the movie. Is it better than the original? Maybe, maybe not.
The Godfather Part III (1990)
Fantastic Ending
The final movie of one of the best trilogies in the world is as good as the first two. Aging Michael Corleone tries to legitimize the Corleone Family by selling all casinos and going into legit business. Michael's kids are already grown up, Kay is not living with him and most of his old friends are dead. The movie also introduces the new Don, Vincent, Michael's nephew who takes on the role of the boss. Vincent also falls in love with Michael's daughter, Mary, but has to give up on her due to his position as the Don. Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and Al Martino return in this amazing ending. This movie has a lot of sad and heartbreaking moments that could make you cry - Mary's tragic death and Michael's all of a sudden death. I suggest everyone to watch it.
Spanish Judges (2000)
Epic Thriller
I've always loved this movie - I discovered it by going to a movie shop and it was laying on a shelf and I decided to take a look at it. The movie featured great performances from Matthew Lillard, Vincent D'Onofrio and Valeria Golino that I absolutely enjoyed. This film had a lot of twists and turns and somehow a bad ending that I somehow liked as Lillard walked away like a total badass with the money and the merchandise. I also liked the fact that the movie is centered around antiques, that I love to collect, and Spanish Judges, two dueling pistols, truly look priceless. There are some quite outstanding scenes, such as Jack beating up Max, Jack taking the revenge on his boss who ruthlessly beat him up in a pub, Jack taking the revenge on his friend who laughed at him while he was bleeding and many others. This movie is an epic story of deceit. I suggest everyone to watch it.
Wild Cactus (1993)
Sexy and Violent
For people that love erotic movies and softcore pornography, this movie is a great choice. This film is filled with sex, violence, deceit and betrayal. I loved Gary Hudson's role as the badass Randall who wasn't afraid of anybody and that got every woman he wanted. Also, the performances from David Naughton, India Allen and Michelle Moffett make this movie a true classic and a thriller masterpiece. It is really fantastic watching the story of a criminal who is released from prison that goes on a crime spree with his sluttish girlfriend and takes revenge on his ex-girlfriend who put him in jail in the first place. Randall's death is amazing, as while he was enraged and about to kill everyone and leave, gets bitten by a snake and then shot by Alex who says ''Hail to the king'' as he stated he is the king of crime. I recommend this movie to everyone.
The Godfather (1972)
Mafia Classic
I grew up watching this movie and it's definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. This movie is a gangster classic that every film buff should watch.
The great performances from Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, James Caan other veteran actors are outstanding in this culture-changing epic. A Sicilian wedding, gun and cannolis, fishes in a vest, a horse head, a corrupt cop, the Don's demise - there are so many events in this movie that you will never get bored of it. I know I never do.
I definitely suggest it.
