The Fight Of The Century! MAJOR SPOILER-WINNER REVEALED!! DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WINNER!!!
16 August 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Wow guys! Any friday fan or nightmare fan must see this movie!!! This movie has every element in an R rated movie, however,I was even surprised at the amount of blood in this film!!! This movie is the first big one on one horror fest, and it will probably be the best ever made.Consider this in mind: I predict Superman vs. Batman,Alien vs.Predator,Candyman vs.Hellraiser, the possibilities are endless. BE WARNED:DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE!!!! MAJOR SPOILER!!!! WINNER REVEALED!!!!!!

And the winner is: The hockey masked maniac of my dreams Jason Voorhees!!! The ending is great,Freddy totally mauls Jason throughout the film, but Jason and Freddy get blown to oblivion by a propane tank set afuel by our heroes, and Freddy emerges with Jasons machete (Claw arm disemboweled) it looks like Freddy is going to destroy everyone, until Jason impales Freddy with his own arm! Our heroine cuts Freddys head off, while Jason sinks to the bottom. The film fades to black, but not before Jason emerges from the water Victorious with Freddys head in hand. However before the credits roll,we see freddys eyes move and wink at the camera! This ain't over horror fans!

Very Entertaining Movie
24 April 2003
Personally, this movie is not the best of the batman movies, the original batman is.However, this is in my opinion, the most fun to waste two hours on.I mean I understand Batman is serious, but this movie is very funny.I mean Arnold as Mr.Freeze, and the most immortal line of them all,"Your Not Sending Me To The Cooler!!" had me blowing soda out of my nose.Very funny line. Also Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy is very nice eye candy to look at for two hours which is a plus.Bane is very cool,so what if he broke batmans back in the comics. This is the movie.Comics you can do anything, this is very good to the characters for what it is worth.Clooney is a nice touch, and O'Donnell is awesome as Robin.Silverstone was kind of out of place as Batgirl,as the only problem in this movie was too many characters.Three villains and three heroes. But in my opinion,I personally like this movie, and if you are the kind of person who enjoys nice set designs and campy fun, this is a must see.All others need not apply.

Fantastic Fantasy
28 January 2003
Quite simply, regardless of which version you own,Legend is a magical fairy tale of adventure, charm, romance, and fantasy. It combines classical elements of storytelling that we grew up with when we were children. Some may even consider it a "dark" fantasy, since it deals with scary elements.I mean look at Tim Curry!Could you find a more intimidating villain in a PG film? I have seen a load of horror films, but Darkness still ranks up there with the scariest and most unique characters played.Tom Cruise and Mia Sara have fantastic chemistry, and play their roles with heart and character. Not many films have done or dealt with unicorns that much(though Blade Runner does add a dash of unicorn to the mix)but this film is a one of a kind fantasy that ranks right up there with NeverEnding Story and the best fantasy trilogy of all time,Lord Of The Rings.Do yourself a favor and check the film that inspired the nintendo classic "Legend Of Zelda" today!

Al Pacino Is The Greatest!
28 January 2003
This movie has one of the most intense performances I have ever seen done before by actor Al Pacino.I never thought Pacino would top "Godfather" but boy was I wrong. This movie is one of the most violent, intense, trashiest movies I have ever seen and its worth every penny! I mean the ending of this film defined intensity, and no one in this world could do it better than Pacino!Rent this movie tonight, you wont regret it! And by the way,"Say Hello To My Little Friend!"

The One That Started It All
8 December 2002
This movie I have so many fond memories of growing up.The fantastic costumes,as well as the awesome fighting, and even the Shredder looked intimidating! Perhaps one of the most entertaining movies growing up as an 80's child, the turtles will live in my heart forever!

He Is The Knight!
8 December 2002
Very good movie which saved the batman franchise.Consider Adam West as Batman(who actually wanted to play him, thank god they chose Keaton)who would totally ruin the movie.Keaton was great as a "dark" batman as well as Jack Nicholson's over the top Joker.Entertaining and in my opinion the best of all the other Batman films, though stay away from Batman and Robin, just horrible in my opinion. This clearly set the pavement for other generations as well as the Spider Man films.Check this Bat out!

I Have The Power!
8 December 2002
Only fans should check this out.If you don't watch the cartoon or have never collected the toys in the 80's,you probably will see this film as a "Star Wars Rip-Off" which it basically is,though it stays pretty faithful to the cartoon, since it was only an hour and a half film.To include every villain and hero would be impossible in this situation. The typical teenage couple in trouble is used here, though it is done very well. The action is fun,if you liked Star Wars (which everybody does)you should check this out for a fun night. And in my opinion,Dolph Lundgren plays a great He-Man.Blond hair and big muscles is all you need and he did a pretty good job covering up his heavy russian accent. :)

It Slimed Me!
8 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
**SPOILERS INCLUDED**

Everything about this film is great. From the sky rise to the headquarters to the final confrontation with the marshmallow man is done perfect.Bill Murray and Slimer's confrontation was funny.Murray laying in a pile of green slime saying to Ray "He Slimed Me" was a great movie moment. The best scene was the confrontation with the marshmallow man.To see a giant marshmallow man wearing a sailor suit, walking down a Manhattan street was priceless.(He even had a smile on his face!)The scene was intimidating as well as hilarious, even unexpected.Whoever thought of this scene had probably one to many marshmallows in their system. This movie has no flaws and surprisingly never lags.I even liked the scene when Ray and Winston are driving on a bridge and talk about God and judgment day. This scene was interesting as well as eerie, since it created tension for the upcoming battle ahead.Great film, worth the buy on DVD its pretty cheap. For those who may have never seen the film, this is one movie you'll love.

Killer Cats Rule!
3 December 2002
All I can say is yes this film is very cheaply made, however, what do you expect when you rent a film about a killer cat with a rabid mutant in its mouth? Its made for kicks, though the only good acting was from the cat,and the rest of the cast was laughably bored.Though I admit I like this film, for the simple fact I love cats.(even though they are all horrible movies,I mean killer cats? Cujo worked and was convincing, but killer cats? Give me a break). It was a nice try and an original idea, though cheap effects and bad acting ruin the film.To bad they never made a sequel! I would have rented it!

Roddy Piper + Sci Fi = Great Carpenter Film
3 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
***WARNING-SPOILERS INCLUDED***

This film will always hold a great place in my heart. It is among the films that wrestling fans cherish very deeply.Consider one time film actor, the legendary Andre The Giant,in one of the greatest fantasy films of all time,Princess Bride.Or how about Hulk Hogans films? ( Hey I loved em' all!).The difference though,is that its a hard edged sci-fi film created by Carpenter and brought to life by surprisingly good acting by the Hot Rod himself. The film is basically about a drifter( who by the way has no first name, only referred to as Nada in the films closing credits)who comes across a discovery that all the human population is being brainwashed by alien controlled and subliminal t.v. and advertising campaigns. The only way to tell whos an alien and whos not,is by wearing a special pair of sunglasses. This is where the movie picks up some heat. When Piper firsts puts those glasses on,it turns into a really creepy movie. Those aliens are ugly man! And to make matters worse he has to convince people to try to wear these glasses! (Check out the awesome fight scene in the alley!)The only problem I had though was the end.If I could have rewrote the script,I would have made the aliens die,not to be revealed. But all in all, this film is a must have for the wrestling/sci-fi fan.It is a very original and interesting film, you should give this one a try with the lights off late at night!

Skin Crawling Gross Film!
3 December 2002
I have to admit I have probably watched more horror movies than I care to share, though out off all the movies i have seen, this movie actually makes you feel like roaches are crawling all over you! Its your basic genetic experiment gone wrong film, resulting in flesh eating hordes of roaches! If you want to watch a horror film that will actually make you feel involved as a potential victim, watch this.Though I really don't recommend you watch this film with your boy/girlfriend,or in the dark! Take it from me if you want gross skin crawling fun for an evening, you must own this film!

Better Than The Shining
3 December 2002
Warning: Spoilers
**Possible Spoilers** One of the best,if not the best, haunted house film of all time.Excellent acting by George C. Scott, really brings this story to life.I dare you to watch this in the dark it will scare you senseless. And watch out for the ball rolling down the stairs and wheelchair scenes. One of the most spine tingling scenes in a horror film period. This movie is great since there is no blood and gore, only the isolation that works on your mind gives the house a living presence all its own.A must have, pick this up,you won't regret it.
