Apocalypse Now (1979)
I love it! (ps: nudity is for showing feelings, not porn.)
I saw the original film a long time ago, but I liked the Redux version better. Much because it is longer, and I like long films. The scenes with the french is both good and brilliant, and one of my favorites. It adds more perspectives on the war, showing us that not only the superheros from the us were there, but also french colonial troops. It adds useful history, to tell us why it is like it is. This movie is not too long, it is rather too short.
It's a great anti-war movie masterpiece in the way it both portrays insanity and meaninglessness. One of, maybe the best of them. Platoon(where Martin Sheens son Charlie is starring) is also great, but shows the war in a different way(this is not a bad element), I love both films.
I read some complains about the nudity in the redux, how awful it is and meaningless, well it is not! A woman complain due to there's only showing nude women, but in fact the are nude men there (martin sheen in the beginning). The nudity in this films shows emotions and feelings and is bit nessescary. If the scenes had been films with clothes on it would not have been the same. The scenes has not been made to make the movie sell, because than I would have know it before I saw the movie. There is no place on the cover where the speak of nudity. When will you americans learn.
Martin Sheen is by the way brilliant as captain Williard and the same is Marlon Brando as Kurtz.
This is how a war film is made, not like that beyond bad Pearl Harbor.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Too short!
it is now 23 hours since i began to see this epic and still i don't know what to say, I just want to see it again and again and again and again....
two problems: it was too short and there is a whole year to "the two towers"
Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
Walking on Water
This is one of the films that's so bad that it is good.. This must be one of the WORST movies ever.. but if you're in for a good laugh .. see it. It is pretty funny!! Our SuperShark here is superintelligent, can walk on water, is superfake, and blows up if you drive a boat into it!! or shoot it with the same bullet as from the first (Spielberg's masterpiece JAWS , which is VERY VERY GOOD) i don't know which of the items, the boat or the bullet killed it.. but hey.. it is still fun!! I'm not even sure if it died.. maybe they used the same scene as from JAWS 1?? it looked like it..and Michael Caine.. what on earth are you doing here? Are you broke or bored or both?..
0/10 ..
The 13th Warrior (1999)
BAD ..
This movie is bad.. It is not good. The acting is good, but the story sucks and it is stupid.
Its been filmed in Canada.. a mistake.. It should been filmed in Norway or maybe Iceland, Denmark or Sweden. The land of the Vikings! The atmosphaere would have been better and reminded more of the land of Norsemen.
Watch The Vikings(1958) ( http://comment.imdb.com/Title?0052365 )with Kirk Douglas instead.. it is much better, with real Viking names and a believable story.

Vertical Limit (2000)
Funny
I think I liked this movie..nice comedy....It was a comedy, wasn't it? Anyway it was perfect, an 100% computer-animated eagle in the beginning and the opening climbing sequence could never been in a studio. I realized something when I saw this "movie" and that was that I've seen this before or at least I've seen something similar, with almost the same pathetic and unrealistic story.
NB: Why does the cool persons always die?? When they are dead, what is the point of continue when you know the end anyway.
Message to Hollywood: STOP KILLING THE COOL GUYS!!!!!!
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
Does it get any better?
This is one of the best, or the best, film to ever have come out of England. Excellent script, actors, humor, etc....THIS IS HOW YOU DO HOLLYWOOD... British humor..does it get any better..NO!
Flåklypa Grand Prix (1975)
A Norwegian Masterpiece
This film is the best norwegian film ever made!! It is impossible to get tired of watching this film... I've seen it many times and it's only getting better every time.. But you have to be a Norwegian or understand the Norwegian language to fully enjoy this masterpiece..
This film took five years to make and was finished in 1975.. and it's been translated into 13 languages..
Kampen om tungtvannet (1948)
Some of the actors are the real men who performed this difficult operation in 1943
This movie is a half-documentary...and it is pretty interesting....
This is a good movie...based on the true story of how a bunch of norwegian saboturs managed to stop the heavy water production in Rukjan, Norway and the deliverance of the rest of the heavy water to Germany.
This movie isn't perfect and it could have been a bit better... the best part of the movie is that some of the saboturs are played by themselves!!!
If you're interested in history of WWII and film this is a movie that's worth a look!!
