Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Age Difference?
A lot of creative writing here?it could only happen in outer space. How is it possible that Queen/Senator Padme Amidala, who was about eight (8) years older then Anakin Skywalker in Episode I all of the sudden be the same age in Episode II? Was she robbing the cradle or did Anakin age faster on another planet? And I am not aware of any 8-year old being in love with someone twice his age. She could do better?
Teenage Caveman (2002)
Terrible
Loaded with profanity, lacks redeeming value, anti-religion.just terrible. This is another one of those end-of-civilization type flicks, that might have been entertaining, if it wasn't for the items noted above, which didn't add any value to the film. One just couldn't get past those aspects. Surprised to see this is what Keegan is doing these days.
Arlington Road (1999)
Tired plot
The acting wasn't bad, but I sure get tired of the same old "bad guys" coming out of Hollywood. If its not "right wing kooks," conservatives, then the fall back is the government. The problem is most Americans believe this stuff.
On the Beach (2000)
Big bad old USA
While the acting was OK, this was another run of the mill flick that infers that all of the world's ills can be traced to actions by the United States. In this one, if only the US had not come to the aid of Taiwan as China attacked, the world would be a better place. With this line of "PC" or "correct" thought, I wonder what the world would be like if the US had never interceded in WWII or hadn't brought down the Soviet Union. What a wonderful place the world would be to live in today! And of course, the US President bears a striking resemblance to "W" Bush. I wonder why?
Whatever It Takes (1998)
Could be better
"Whatever it takes" was not quite as entertaining as previous Don "The Dragon" Wilson movies. Don Wilson is beginning to show his age, and it appeared that it was more difficult for him to perform some of the stunts. The showing was running a "6" until the end, when Andrew Dice Clay had to come in with his moronic farmer jokes, which didn't add anything to the show, actually detracted from it, and was not normal for Wilson's productions.
Bridge of Dragons (1999)
Very boring
If I get the premise correctly, sometime in the future the Chinese have taken over the US. They have a large army (Chinese Warlord in charge) with some US mercenaries (traitors) who enjoy killing rebels (patriots). The Chinese princess is popular with the rebels, but is being forced to marry the ruler, a Chinese Warlord. In the standard boring drama, the Chinese princess falls in love with a mercenary, the mercenary converts, and kills the warlord, freeing the populace. This must be Hollywood's version of the Clinton/Gore legacy. Boring, but a notch better than TerrorVision.
TerrorVision (1986)
Terrible
Probably the worse movie I have ever seen...couldn't even finish it; therefore gave it a rating of 1. I have seen other SciFi horror films before, but this doesn't even come close to creating horror. Photography is poor, acting campy; parts of film are noticeably blurred.
Contact (1997)
Bias
Director's/Producer's bias against religion shows throughout the movie.
Adrenalin: Fear the Rush (1996)
Better than rated
An interesting concept and a fast paced movie.
