Modern Family star Ariel Winter loves to wear revealing clothes and to share those clothes with her fans on social media. However, there are plenty of internet trolls who make a point of slamming her every time she posts a revealing photo. She should probably follow one of the oldest pieces of advice about life online - don't fee the trolls - but most of the time, she just can't help herself.
Via Us Weekly.
Slut, fat, trashy, ugly. The cruel words litter Ariel Winter’s Instagram feed every time she proudly posts a photo of her 5-foot-1 frame. For years, admits the Modern Family actress, the taunts cut deep — “It was really disappointing that people would hate me so much for dressing how I wanted to,” she explains — until she found a clever way to dress down her haters.

A lot has changed for Milck, the artist behind the song “Quiet,” which went viral following the 2016 presidential election and became the unofficial anthem of the Women’s March in January. A lot has stayed the same, too. For one thing, she still has no intention of keeping quiet -- and to show it, she has released a new, uplifting video for the track.
The new video, which features some of the singer’s friends and sexual assault survivors, was completed earlier this year with a planned release in January, when she will debut an Ep of new music. But when people started stepping forward to recount their own stories of sexual harassment and abuse in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, the Los Angeles-based artist tells Et it was the right moment to release it.

One hundred seventy features have been submitted for consideration in the Documentary Feature category for the 90th Academy Awards. That’s 25 more than 2016. Assuming they all book their qualifying runs in New York and Los Angeles, the members of the documentary branch have just a few more weeks to see as many films as possible and file their votes for the shortlist of 15 to be announced in December. They’re each supposed to watch an assigned list of about 20 films, plus as many more as they can.

England/Hungary; in English and Hungarian with English subtitles; 92 minutes
The mind-boggling documentary Keep Quiet is about a far-right, anti-Semitic Hungarian politician who discovers his own hidden Jewish heritage when it is revealed that his beloved grandmother is an Auschwitz survivor. Faced with this new reality, he decides to embrace his heritage and become an Orthodox Jew. You can’t make this stuff up, is the phrase that springs to mind in this head-twisting true story.
Keep Quiet not only follows the course of events around far-right politician Csanad Szegedi but illuminates the pervasive and persistent antisemitism still found in Hungary. A British and Hungarian co-production, it is an eye-opening documentary.
Csanad Szegedi had been drawn to anti-Semitic beliefs since high school, views drew some uncomfortable looks from his mother but no comments. He became a founding member of Hungary’s far-right Jobbik party,...

Antichrist (Lars von Trier)

For those will to endure its specific unpleasantness, there’s a poetic, affecting exploration of despair at its center. Chaos reigns, indeed. – Jordan R.

The marathon run of specialized awards contenders reaches its climax tonight. Only a handful will get a further boost. It has been a strong season, with business spread out among multiple films.
Meantime, a handful of releases outside the awards world, led by cat documentary “Kedi” (Oscilloscope) and the wider decently performing “A United Kingdom” (Fox Searchlight) will need to make up the gaps ahead.
One final Oscar nominee, the Swiss animated feature “My Life As a Zucchini” (Oscilloscope) had a decent start in a single theater each in New York and Los Angeles. This will see some niche life ahead as arthouses look for needed supplementary releases.
In every previous case of the first release of a Sundance U.S. Dramatic Competition winner would be the top story in this report, as was the case for “The Birth of a Nation” and “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

A successful Oscar season is wrapping up, as multiple contenders from the specialty world continuing their long runs. Last out of the gate is Documentary Feature contender “I Am Not Your Negro” (Magnolia) which is rapidly expanding far beyond most similar nominees in an era when most documentaries do not play outside their Oscar-qualifying theatrical runs.
Among limited films, the new releases are mainly niche items without high expectations, and will add little in upcoming weeks. However, strong new Los Angeles dates on the second week of cat documentary “Kedi” (Oscilloscope) showed that its big New York opening was no fluke.

A role reversal so outrageous it could only be a work of nonfiction, the story of Csanad Szegedi, an infamous member of Hungary’s conservative Jobbik party, is as preposterously true as they come. A former Holocaust denier and anti-Semite, Szegedi now lives as a practicing Orthodox Jew determined to honor his familial past (his grandparents were Jewish). Fascinated by this turnaround, filmmakers Joseph Martin and Sam Blair created Keep Quiet, an in-depth study of the new life of Szegedi and co-lead Rabbi Boruch Oberlande, as a portrait of internal religious tension and the endless trying struggle to right one’s wrongs. As Keep […]...

Keep Quiet is a chilling and comprehensive documentary following the path to redemption – or a calculated political act – for Csanad Szegedi, a right-wing anti-Semite who rose to become the vice president of Hungary’s Jobbik party. The Jobbik are a conservative radical nationalist group that fashioned itself after the Nazi while calling for self-deportation, global isolationism, and an enhanced police state. Embroiled in a scandal when it’s revealed Szegedi is actually Jewish with a grandmother who survived Auschwitz, questions about his upbringing are at the forefront for much of the film’s first act. Did Szegedi sell out his own family history, including his grandmother, for populist appeal or did he really not know he was playing with fire?
Presenting the early part of his career in archival materials, including appearances, rallies and candid talking head interviews, Keep Quiet quietly builds an ambiguous character study that’s as calculated as the man.
