Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was criticized by long-term DC fans and fans of Rocksteady’s previous attempt at creating the Arkhamverse. Before the game was released and its marketing began, fans disliked its central idea and live service element.
There have been several leaks regarding the game’s plot, character designs, and upcoming content from various leakers on social media. As expected, the latest one surfaced recently, and fans are not amused. If anything, they expect the game to ruin one of the best DC supervillains.

Was it self-defense, or was it murder? That’s the question at the heart of Oxygen True Crime’s Kill or Be Killed, which explores real and complex cases where the killer claims they had no choice but to kill. But not every perpetrator is genuinely innocent. While some might have resorted to violence in a desperate act of self-preservation, others are trying to cover up a vicious crime.
The May 18 episode of Kill or Be Killed digs into the case of a cosplay model named Melissa Turner who makes a frantic 911 call after she finds her boyfriend stabbed to death outside their home. Surveillance footage points detectives to the perpetrator, but the circumstances that led to his death are murky.

Stellar Blade and its main character, Eve, have received a steady stream of praise from the game’s newfound fans since its release a week ago. Despite the controversy surrounding censorship and post-launch content edits, the game continues to appeal to people with all it offers.
Part of Stellar Blade’s appeal comes from the lines of outfits that you can grab for Eve. One of the reasons why Death Note is one of the biggest anime series even after so long is the fact that, since the beginning, the series has introduced a new twist or turn in every episode. The mysterious psychological thriller, with the addition of supernatural entities, makes it one of the most successful pioneers of the anime industry.

Three years before his career-defining role as Itto Ogami in the six Lone Wolf and Cub films, Wakayama Tomisaburô starred in a trio of films about doctor, bounty hunter, and sometimes shogun assassin Ichibei Shikoro. Where the Lone Wolf and Cub series leaned much harder into the strategies associated with the exploitation filmmaking movement that was booming in Japan during the early 1970s, the “Bounty Hunter” trilogy has both feet firmly planted in the 1960s, drawing influence from James Bond films and spaghetti westerns as well more violent contemporaneous samurai films such as Okamoto Kihachi’s Sword of Doom and Kill!
The influence of the 007 films on Killer’s Mission, from 1969, alone is evident right out of the gate, both in Yagi Masao’s score and our first glimpse of Ichibei preparing his gadgets, including a cane sword and a miniature crossbow, as he readies himself for his mission to prevent an enemy,...

The Albuquerque Police Department responded to an incident between UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and a drug tester from Drug Free Sport International.
Jones reportedly threatened to kill the drug tester when “extremely intoxicated” and took his phone during the altercation. The incident allegedly happened in late March but was not reported until April 5 near Jones’ residence. No criminal charges have been brought against Jones as of now.
Throughout Jones’ career, the UFC champion has had several run-ins with the law, including drug use. In 2015, Jones tested positive for cocaine and was involved in a felony hit-and-run, leaving a pregnant woman injured. Police found cannabis in Jones’ vehicle.
UFC stripped Jones of his title. He avoided jail time but had 18 months of supervised probation. In 2016, Jones had another drug violation under a test from the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
Jones also faced a Dwi in 2020 after police found Jones intoxicated in his vehicle.

Could Scottish soccer be the next to benefit from Hollywood investment?
In a situation reminiscent of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McEIhenney’s takeover of Welsh soccer side Wrexham, former Netflix international originals chief Erik Barmack looks set to acquire a stake in Motherwell Fc.
A report in the Scottish Daily Mail has named Barmack as the unnamed U.S. investor who is planning to buy into the Scottish team, which plays in the Scottish Premiership alongside the likes of giants Celtic and Rangers.
Reynolds and McElhenney took over Wrexham for about £2M ($2.5M) in February 2021 when the club was playing outside the professional English leagues, but have led a transformation by investing heavily and marketing the team internationally through FX doc series Welcome to Wrexham. Wrexham currently sits third in League Two, three below the Premier League, and Motherwell fans will be hoping Barmack can lead their club to similar new glories.

All aboard! The Pain Train is leaving the station, and you want to avoid getting stuck riding coach! Lionsgate is giving action fans something to crow about today with the debut of the brutal Kill trailer. Described as India’s goriest and most intensely violent film, Kill is like David Leitch’s Bullet Train on steroids, if those steroids were taking steroids!
Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directs Kill from a script he wrote with Ayesha Syed. The plot revolves around a passenger on a train to New Delhi. The train soon becomes a combat battleground as a pair of commandos face an army of invading bandits. What was supposed to be a leisurely trek turns into a claustrophobic bloodbath, with death and destruction filling every car along a fast-moving train.

"We hope you enjoyed the ride." Lionsgate has launched a teaser trailer for the awesome action movie Kill, from filmmaker Nikhil Bhat. This incredible film premiered last year at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival in the Midnight Madness section, and it also played at the Sitges Film Festival - where I caught up with it. This film is an action movie on the scale of The Raid, but set entirely on a moving train with fights happening in the passenger cars. When thugs board a train and start attacking passengers in a train heist, the train soon becomes a combat battleground as a pair of commandos face the entire army of invading bandits. Starring Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala and Raghav Juyal. You have never seen anything like this before!! Kill Teaser Review: A Bloody New Chapter For Indian Cinema? (Photo Credit – Youtube)
Move over masala musicals and epic romances, because Bollywood is about to get a serious dose of red. The teaser for Kill has landed, and it’s not for the faint of heart. This isn’t your typical hero flipping ten goons at once while singing a catchy tune. This is a genre-bending, barrier-breaking experience produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, promising a brutal and bloody thrill ride unlike anything Indian cinema has ever dared to unleash.
Helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, Kill’s teaser itself is a crimson calling card. Ditch the family-friendly U rating – this one proudly boasts a Red Band YouTube release, a clear indicator that things are about to get messy. Indian director-producer Karan Johar wrapped up the conference section of the first Cinevesture International Film Festival with a lively conversation that ranged from working with the right people and Bollywood’s shifting gender politics, to letting slip a few new projects from his Dharma Productions slate.
Johar, who’s having a busy year as a producer with Love Storiyaan on Prime Video and Showtime on Disney+ Hotstar, started the session by talking about how he surrounds himself with people “who know all facets of cinema, not just the mainstream” – even if they’ve been outspoken critics of his work in the past.
He used the example of indie maverick Anurag Kashyap, and producer Somen Mishra, now head of content at Dharma and its Ott division Dharmatic Entertainment, who used to slate him on the popular ‘Passion of Cinema’ blog.

You've likely heard plenty of JFK assassination theories over the years.
(And there have been numerous movies and TV shows on that specific, much-obsessed-over topic.)
But did you know that certain aspects of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln remain shrouded in mystery?
Sadly, there was no Reddit in 1865, so the amateur sleuths of the time were unable to share their theories or join in the pursuit of John Wilkes Boothe as he managed to evade authorities for 12 days.
Thankfully, the new AppleTV+ series Manhunt promises to plunge viewers right into the center of the days of crisis that followed Lincoln's shocking death.
The show stars Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass) as Lincoln and Tobias Menzies (Outlander) 16's close friend and Secretary of War who helped to track down his killer.
We're sure the show will provide all the details you'll need in order to grasp this watershed moment in American history.

Here's a combo we're not sure we anticipated — but we're very glad will exist. Ben Wheatley, the genre-hopping filmmaker who went from the likes of Kill List and High Rise to Rebecca and Meg 2: The Trench is aboard to direct a new action thriller starring Bob Odenkirk, who when he's not been busy playing Saul Goodman on small screens, took to cinemas back in 2021 with tough-nut film Nobody. They're teaming up for the film Normal.
And the new movie also sees Odenkirk back working with John Wick veteran (and Nobody writer) Derek Kolstad, who has written the script. The official synopsis reads, "Normal follows Ulysses (Odenkirk), who is thrust into the temporary role of the sheriff for the small sleepy town Normal after the previous one’s untimely death. When the town’s bank is robbed by an out-of-town couple, Ulysses arrives on the scene to find that the...

Match #1: Nic Nemeth def. Trey Miguel The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
After defeating Zachary Wentz last week, Nic Nemeth must now lock horns with another Rascal in Trey Miguel! Nemeth clotheslines Miguel over the top rope to the floor. Wentz provides a momentary distraction, allowing Miguel to take him out with a dive. Back in the ring, Miguel rakes the eyes, then drives Nemeth shoulder-first into the steel ring post. Nemeth creates separation with a mid-air dropkick to counter Miguel’s springboard. Nemeth delivers repeated elbow drops but Miguel kicks out. Wentz trips up Nemeth in the corner and the referee ejects him from ringside. Miguel soars with the Meteora off the distraction but it’s not enough.

Méridien Blues
It was a bumpy start to the AFM’s tenure at new home Le Méridien Delfina. Most industry we spoke to were unhappy about something venue-related whether it be the noisy strikes that took place all week, cost, size of rooms, “maze-like” structure, slow lifts (the fire department was reportedly called Friday to help guests stuck in one of the two lifts serving the hotel’s lobby), parking issues, location or general aesthetic. Talk of alternatives continues to bubble. Miami and Las Vegas were mooted destinations among disgruntled industry. Directed by Laura Murphy and written by Ivan Diaz and Meghan Brown, the film follows a true-crime junkie in Boulder, Colo. who must determine which of the three guys she’s dating is her f*ckboy, which is marriage material, and which is the Swipe Right Killer who has been terrorizing the city and wants to murder her.

F*** Mary Kill — which Lionsgate is selling at the AFM — is produced by BuzzFeed Inc.’s Richard Alan Reid, Michael Philip, and Jason Moring, and builds on the success Lionsgate, BuzzFeed Studios and Hale had with Puppy Love, which was released on Amazon Freevee earlier this summer.
