During the introductory montage sequence, archival excerpts of five US Presidents' voices are heard in chronological order: Ronald Reagan (40), George Bush (41), Bill Clinton (42), George W. Bush (43) and Barack Obama (44). Except for George W. Bush, video clips of the other four Presidents are shown during the intro. Louis Armstrong and Colin Powell are also excerpted.

Goofs:

Factual errors: Brody (and other US Marines) are referred to multiple times as "soldiers", including by a character who claims he was with a UDT (or underwater demolition team, a "sister" team to the Navy SEALs who have to pass the same training). In reality, it is a point of pride among US Marines that they are not soldiers, but marines. The Navy UDT character ought to know this as well. In turn, Brody refers to the UDT character as a soldier as well. As Naval personnel, he would be a sailor.

This is a masterpiece of TV thriller/action/drama . Sharp, sophisticated, clear and crisp. Excellent performance of the entire cast.It's realistic tense, action packed 12 hours of just well made TV.!The storyline is crafted in such a brilliant way that from the first episode ,one can not wait to see how the drama concludes. I said realistic , as the cast so brilliantly fit in to their characters. Mandy Patinkin's performance is outstanding as the voice of sanity throughout the events.Claire Danes is having a double role as the CIA agent and as being Bipolar . Finally Damian Lewis:The creators could not have found anyone better to play Nicholas Brody.
