Park Nam Ok, Korea’s first female movie director, passed away on Saturday at the age of 94. The director died from natural causes at her home in Los Angeles.
Park Nam Ok became Korea’s first female filmmaker in 1955 with her first and only feature film, the black and white “The Widow,” which she also edited. The movie focused on the struggles and issues facing widowed women during the Korean war, a highly controversial subject at the time. The lead character of Min-ja, one of thousands of Korean War widows, refuses to obey the Confucian codes that dictate she must remain faithful to her late husband.
Park Nam Ok was only permitted to release the film after the New Year, as it was believed to be bad luck if the New Year opened with a film directed by a woman.

Given that her “Crazy Beautiful Life” documentary did so well, the “Your Love Is My Drug” songstress has been asked for a second season of action, consisting of six more episodes of madness.
This also means that Kesha’s brother Lagan Sebert will likely get more experience as a filmmaker given that he shot the footage for the first round during the past two years.
Meanwhile, Miley will film a one-hour special about prepping for her forthcoming album and making the transition from “Disney princess” to a fully-fledged sex symbol.

The “Beautiful Life” actress took to her Twitter page to vent her frustrations over director Sofia Coppola’s latest flick “The Bling Ring,” based on the celebrity theft spree from a few years back.
Barton began, “The whole idea of this movie, granted, I haven’t seen it, creeps me out #theblingring #undeserved.”
As for the reference to her DUI in 2008 that’s mentioned by one of the characters, Mischa wrote, "Really #sofiacoppola #theblingring my name? Shame on you.”...

What's that, you didn't know Ke$ha's in a thing where she drinks her own pee? Because she is! Ke$ha has this MTV documentary thing, "Ke$ha: My Crazy, Beautiful Life," where she actually consumes her own urine from a bottle. Oh, Ke$ha -- you crazy, girl. Here's the trailer for the series, which debuts on MTV in May, and chronicles a 2-year period of Ke$ha's life while her brother followed her around with a video camera, shooting basically everything in sight. Lucky for you, that includes some pee-drinking, because come on. What would a Ke$ha video be like if it didn't include some kind of disgusting, repugnant behavior? She can’t wait for her fans to see her new “My Crazy Beautiful Life” documentary, and now Ke$ha has released a teaser trailer.
The “Your Love Is My Drug” singer spent two years on the road and at home letting her brother Lagan Sebert film her wherever she went.
And now it’s all been edited down into the forthcoming special event, set to hit the MTV Airwaves on May 8th.
At one point in the trailer, Ke$ha admits, “I keep on having penis dreams, I think I need to get laid,” before belching out loud. She also drives down her first boyfriend’s street while explaining that he lives there with his new girlfriend and admitting she’s a stalker.

"It's scary when you realize your dreams, because dreams end," Ke$ha says in the first full trailer for "My Crazy Beautiful Life," an MTV documentary about her crazy beautiful life. "I don't want this dream to end."
Airing April 23 at 11 p.m. Edt, "My Crazy Beautiful Life" details all things Ke$ha, from the highs (sold-out concerts and shoddy but energetic cartwheels) to the lows (dealing with mean bloggers and bad reviews). As previously reported, the film will also include a moment where Ke$ha drinks her own urine, because of course. That isn't shown in the trailer (mercifully), but Ke$ha does unleash a rafter-rattling belch. Ke$ha's brother is the director of "My Crazy Beautiful Life."
Watch the first trailer, which makes the film look more like Katy Perry's "Part of Me" than Beyonce's "Life Is But A Dream," in the window above.

I'm shamefully here to let you know that I will be watching every second of MTV's new reality documentary Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. If that makes me a sad, pathetic being, then that's cool. That's not anything I didn't already know.
And do you know why? Because I feel the pain, man. I'm definitely no rock star and I'm absolutely not a white girl, but I feel the pain of being misunderstood, I feel the pain of wanting to be heard in the right ways, and I feel what it's like to stalk your exes (in fact, I probably know that bit best of all, but that's not the point). As Ke$ha utters "my message is to give the haters the finger," through cascading tears of frustration and the powerful desire to triumph, I, too, feel the desire to burp my way to the top of the Steno pool.

In Mischa Barton’s new film, the girl who was once killed off the hit teen soap The Oc in a tragic car accident is now the one trying to solve the murder of a high schooler who was killed by — you guessed it — a car accident. Now before you get all up in arms about this promo for Ke$ha's brand new MTV docu-series My Crazy Beautiful Life not being exactly what you came here for, understand that in this first look from the new show, it's actually a cannoli she eats, not a penis. But as you'll see in a moment, a cannoli is pretty similar to a penis, in that both have a cream filling that will get all over your face if you're not careful. And that's the real joy in both a cannoli and a penis, is it not? Ah, life! Anyway, check out the first extended look at the past two years of Ke$ha's life being chronicled in My Crazy Beautiful Life, where she apparently spent some of those years bird-feeds cannoli/penis juice into the loving mouth of a colleague and friend:

MTV's Ke$ha docuseries, "My Crazy Beautiful Life," will air at 11 p.m. on April 23, the network announced Wednesday. A new clip sees the "Tik Tok" singer fellating a cannoli and pushing her breasts onto a woman's face, so, no, no surprises here.
The special shares the same name as Ke$ha's book and promises an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at a pop star we're supposed to believe is misunderstood. If this sounds familiar, it's because every single pop act, from Beyonce ("Life Is But a Dream") to Katy Perry ("Katy Perry the Movie: Part of Me") to Justin Bieber ("Never Say Never") has tried to tell us that we really don't know them and then made some film or TV feature that confirms everything we already imagined (Beyonce's obsessed with her image, Katy Perry is actually pretty nice, Justin Bieber is a boy). This is an old trick, hearkening back to Madonna's 1991 "Truth or Die.
