Storyline
Plot Summary |
Dave Spritz is a local weatherman in his hometown of Chicago, where his career is going well, while his personal life--his relationships with his perfectionist writer father, neurotic ex-wife, and children, is spiraling downward. Despite being loathed and loved by the local masses, Dave doesn't seem to have it all together, and he's starting to feel it. An attractive job offer presents him with a major question: to pursue his career in New York City, or to remain at home with his family. Written by mystic80 |

Quotes |
Dave Spritz:
I remember once imagining what my life would be like, what I'd be like. I pictured having all these qualities, strong positive qualities that people could pick up on from across the room. But as time passed, few ever became any qualities that I actually had. And all the possibilities I faced and the sorts of people I could be, all of them got reduced every year to fewer and fewer. Until finally they got reduced to one, to who I am. And that's who I am, the weather man. See more » |
