It is interesting to see horror in film developing across the world. In Turkey, director Hakan Yildiz (Bloody Weekend) is getting set to shoot his tension filled title "Private Room." This is a short film from Sweet Dream Productions, which will begin shooting in Istanbul, Turkey this Summer. The film follows a brother and sister duo. Kristian (Yildiz) and Leise (Denise Teipel) set their travel sights on Istanbul. Once there, they tour the city and its many landmarks. But, something strange occurs. Their apartment, which is shared with other tourists, hosts a violent man. And, this character may be responsible for the death of another. Kristian and Leise will have to confront their fears, or become another victim of this madman. The first official poster for "Private Room" has been released (above). And, this title is expected to tour several North American horror film festivals, including: Shriekfest, Screamfest, the Chicago Horror Film Festival and more.

A few details are emerging from Budapest, Hungary for Bloody Night. This film, from director Hakan Yildiz, is a slasher film set in this ancient city. Four friends on vacation are stalked by a masked man with a love for knives. And, several photos for the film have been released by Yildiz. Actor Hakan Yildiz is in talks to star in new Hungarian horror flick 'Bloody Night'. Turkish star Yildiz, who will also be appearing in Pau Maso 'The App Killer' and recently in Susan Engel's 'Haunted Maze', has produced a number of genre titles which includes 'The Road Killer' and 'Scream Queen Campfire'. 'Bloody Night' which will kick off shooting in January 2012 is about a group of College students who plan for their Spring break holiday and travel to Budapest.
