2023 was an excellent year for new reality TV formats.
House of Villains burst onto screens, grabbed our attention, and didn’t let go for an entire season.
It makes sense then that the show pulled in solid ratings for E! and secured a speedy renewal for Season 2.
While we know that filming is probably already underway, the first cast member has seemingly already leaked, and we’re inclined to believe the person in question will deliver some good TV.
All About The Real Housewives reported this week that Teresa Giudice will give family feuds a rest as she embraces her mean streak on House of Villains Season 2.
Given how successful the likes of Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield have been on The Traitors Season 2, it’s no surprise that other formats are looking to bring in notable housewives.

Ready yourself for more reality TV rabble-rousing. The E! competition House of Villains is returning for a second season. Season 1 assembled some of the “biggest, baddest, and most backstabbiest” reality stars in the history of unscripted television, as E! touted. And in the end, it was Bad Girls Club alum Tanisha Thomas who won the $200,000 prize and the title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain. Now another showdown is on the horizon: Host Joel McHale told Entertainment Weekly this month that House of Villains Season 2 will start filming in February. And producers certainly have many villains to choose from. Here are 10 infamous reality stars who — in our minds, at least — could be House of Villains’ next 10 contestants. Christine Quinn Quinn fully embraced her villain edit on Selling Sunset, telling The New York Times that she was going to “give the world a show.” She did just that on the show, clashing...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for House of Villains Finale] Some of the most recognizable and devious personalities in the reality TV game put their skills to the test on House of Villains. After weeks of physical, borderline ridiculous, somewhat terrifying, and mentally draining challenges, it came down to five during the E! competition show’s finale. Still left were Johnny Bananas (The Challenge), Jonny Fairplay (Survivor), Tanisha Thomas (Bad Girls Club), Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee (Love is Blind), and Anfisa Arkhipchenko (90 Day Fiancé). Host Joel McHale revealed their last Battle Royale challenge would be “Last Supper.” The eating competition saw the group downing hard-boiled eggs, nuclear spicy wings, red snapper eyeballs, bull testicles, and pig brains served up by Below Deck’s Ben Robinson. Bananas had the stomach to finish his meal first, earning him a guaranteed seat in the finals. The Challenge legend chose his ride-or-die Tanisha to join him. This left Shake, Fairplay, and Anfisa battling it...

E!'s House of Villains promised to bring back 10 of reality TV's most notorious baddies for a battle to see who could be the most villainous of them all. But in the end, the winner was the person who made everyone like her the best. Tanisha Thomas, infamous for her stint on the second season of Bad Girls Club, won the final vote from a jury of her peers — including a vote from her biggest enemy in the house — to take the $200,000 grand prize. In the process, she bested The Challenge's Johnny Bananas, who seemed like he had the endgame of the competition completely under his control.

Et tu, Omarosa? On Thursday's episode of E!'s House of Villains, Bachelor Nation alum Corinne Olympios learned the hard way that there's no such thing as a true ally among this group of reality TV baddies.
It's a lesson Corinne should have internalized last week, when Omarosa Manigualt Newman put her and Tanisha Thomas (of Bad Girls Club fame) up for elimination after professing her loyalty to them. Both women were shocked by the turn of events, and Corinne left The Stronghold kicking herself for trusting Omarosa, the reigning supervillain of the week, in the first place.

House of Villains has an all-star reality TV cast, and we’re excited to dive into the new series. Reality TV villains have been around for as long as the television genre has existed, and fans love to hate the scummiest folks who are cast on these shows. House of Villains, E!’s new series featuring reality TV baddies such as Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor and The Apprentice’s Omarosa, is looking to “lean into the comedy” of the genre, according to its exec producer.
John Irwin, who runs Irwin Entertainment and has produced celebrity house shows such as Celebrity Rehab and Sober House, told Deadline, “From the beginning, our strategy was to lean into the comedy of this concept and for the show to parody itself and the genre.”
Irwin explained that the show, which pits the reality villains against each other via a series of challenges in order to win $200,000, was initially developed by the NBCUniversal-owned cable network.
John Irwin
He said that Joel McHale was their first choice. “Not only is he insanely funny, he’s also a hard-core fan of reality television and familiar with most of our cast from his days on The Soup.

How many reality TV villains under the same roof can we get?
That's the question E! execs probably asked when they were pitched House of Villains, a new series in the works for the fall.
The cabler announced the cast, premiere date, and first footage for the project, and it definitely has potential.
We'll start with the premiere date. The series begins on Thursday, October 12, at 10/9c.
The cast comprises some big names in the reality TV circuit -- and beyond.
The Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother alum Omarosa will be present, alongside Flavor of Love and Celebrity Big Brother UK scene-stealer Tiffany "New York" Pollard.
Vanderpump Rules villain Jax Taylor is also on the cast, but we're sure he won't speak about Scandoval.
The cast also includes Jonny Fairplay (Survivor), Corinne Olympios (The Bachelor), Johnny Bananas (The Challenge), Shake Chatterjee (Love Is Blind), and Bobby Lytes (Love & Hip-Hop: Miami...

Hell hath no fury like a misinformed Fatima wielding a baseball bat.
Tyler Perry’s Sistas made its explosive return on Wednesday, picking up right where the midseason finale left off — with Hayden and Gary wetting themselves as they stared down the wrong end of Fatima’s weapon. She was convinced that they conspired to get Zac arrested, and since Fatima’s more of a swing-first-ask-questions-never type, she took the full force of her rage out on the coffee table. And the television. Hell, she even smashed Hayden’s dad’s urn. (Side note: When he shrieked, “Those are my father’s ashes!

Netflix debuted a trailer for its upcoming three-part docuseries, “Naomi Osaka,” debuting July 16.
“No one really knows all the sacrifices you make,” the titular athlete narrates in the trailer opening.
Academy Award-nominated director Garrett Bradley covers a two-year period in which Osaka defends grand slam titles, finds her voice and navigates personal challenges on a public stage. The intimate three-episode series chronicles Osaka’s hectic training and travel schedule as she finds time to be with friends and family and explore her Haitian and Japanese roots. It launches just one week before her run at the Tokyo Olympics begins.
“The series is about Naomi’s journey, within a snapshot of her life, but it’s also about life’s purpose, about personal worth, about the courage that it takes to allow one’s personal values to inform their work and vice versa,” Bradley said. “More than anything, I’d hope...

The "Bachelor" franchise shows are notorious for not having the world's greatest track record in terms of long-term couples. Only a few have made it down the aisle, but "Bachelorette" Trista Rehn is the original. She and husband Ryan Sutter were the first "Bachelor" couple to tie the knot and they are still going strong 10 years (and two kids) later.
But wait -- In Touch reveals that Trista and Ryan are going to appear on "Marriage Boot Camp" this summer on We tv. Say it ain't so!
In all seriousness, Sutter tells the magazine, "We definitely have difficulty communicating."
To us, this seems like a natural progression for the "Bachelor" franchise couples. In fact, perhaps they should just go right from filming their "Bachelor/ette" season to taping "Marriage Boot Camp." It might really help more of them stay together. And you know the "Bachelor" fans would tune in.

Talk about a buzzkill…
Following Dexter’s biggest premiere to date last Sunday, contract negotiations between Michael C. Hall and Showtime have reportedly come to an impasse.
According to our sister site Deadline, talks broke down after the two sides were unable to bridge a $4 million gap in Hall’s proposed new salary. (The new pact would be for two years.) That said, Team TVLine is optimistic they’ll soon reach an agreement given that Hall recently told us that he doesn’t “have any reason to believe that this sixth season will be [the show's] last.”
