Most wedding registries look like they’re copied straight out of a Macy’s catalog, stocked with essentials to help newlywed couples start this new chapter of their lives on the right foot. But in the trailer for Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel), are in need of much heavier artillery than a set of Mr. and Mrs. coffee mugs.

Jennifer Lopez has been on a huge marriage kick lately. This past year saw the release of Marry Me, a romantic comedy where she plays a pop star who marries a regular joe, played by Owen Wilson. Her real life this year also saw her marry her longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend, Ben Affleck. And now, Amazon Prime Video reveals the new trailer for Lopez’s next film, the action-romantic-comedy Shotgun Wedding. The film also stars Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Coolidge, Sônia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, D’Arcy Carden, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter, Alberto Isaac, and Lenny Kravitz.

Nothing can go wrong on Jennifer Lopez’s big day… right?
Wrong. The “Marry Me” actress and international pop star leads Prime Video’s upcoming romantic comedy, “Shotgun Wedding,” about a bride (Lopez) and groom (Josh Duhamel) whose nuptials lead to a horrific hostage situation, and not just because of the bad buffet. The action rom-com also stars Jennifer Coolidge as Lopez’s monster-in-law who wields a massive gun and yells “nobody fucks with my family” in the trailer.
The ever-smooth Lenny Kravitz is Lopez’s onscreen ex, but it’s the international pirates who really throw a wrench into the ceremony. D’Arcy Carden, Sônia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter, and Alberto Isaac round out the ensemble cast.

Jennifer Lopez straddles the action and romantic comedy genres in her next film “Shotgun Wedding,” and the first trailer promises a laugh-filled, high-octane affair. Kind of like “Die Hard” at a wedding.
Lopez and Josh Duhamel star as a couple who gather their family and friends for the ultimate destination wedding, but just as the two start to get cold feet, the wedding is crashed by Lopez’s ex (played by Lenny Kravitz) and the entire wedding party is taken hostage.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Jennifer Coolidge use a machine gun or a wedding dress get turned into a hand-to-hand combat outfit, this is the movie for you.
Armie Hammer was originally set to star before production began, but Duhamel took over the role when troubling Hammer accusations surfaced.

“‘Til death do us part” is the haunting overtone of director Jason Moore’s upcoming feature “Shotgun Wedding,” which combines the thriller, romance and comedy genres into 100 minutes of action-packed content.

Co-starring Grammy-nominated singer Jennifer Lopez and actor Josh Duhamel as an engaged couple, the two are about to get married when the entire wedding party is taken hostage by criminals. The couple must then overcome the bumps in their relationship to save their friends and family.
Teasing at the mixture of steaminess and bloodshed to come, the newly distributed trailer includes a fleeting glimpse of singer-actor Lenny Kravitz shirtless.

Netflix has driven a stake into “First Kill,” deciding against picking up the teenage vampire series for a second season. The news comes nearly two months after the streamer debuted all eight episodes of the show’s first season in early June.
Sources close to the matter maintain that Netflix is proud of the work that producers, cast and crew put in on the series, though the decision came down to a matter of viewing numbers versus cost.
Based on a short story from horror writer V. E. Schwab, “First Kill” followed Calliope (Imani Lewis) and Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook), two teenage girls who fall for one another, but come from warring families: one a dynasty of vampire hunters, the other a line of bloodsuckers.
The series also starred Elizabeth Mitchell, Will Swenson, Aubion Wise, Jason Robert Moore, Gracie Dzienny, Dylan McNamara, Dominic Goodman, Phillip Mullings Jr., Mk xyz, Jonas Dylan Allen and Roberto Mendez.

Joining Moore as producers are Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman, who will produce for Mandeville, with Alex Young executive producing. Emma Straub will adapt her own novel for the screen.
“Emma’s novel is tender and funny, life-affirming and poignant, sweet and nostalgic, deep and rich,” said Erin Westerman, Lionsgate’s President of Production. “There’s no relationship more fraught than that between parent and child, and it only gets more so as the years go by. This article contains spoilers for First Kill season 1.
At the center of Netflix‘s First Kill is Juliette Fairmont (Sarah Catherine Hook), a Legacy—pure-blood—vampire and Calliope Burns (Imani Lewis), a vampire hunter. Both girls are next up in their families to take on their first kill, but their feelings for one another complicate things.
The (hopefully) first season of this series is based on a short story from Victoria “V.E.” Schwab and expands the plot to eight episodes. With so much extra time to fill, the ending of First Kill season 1 goes its own way. Here is what you should know about First Kill‘s final act.
How First Kill Differs From V.E. Schwab’s Story

Watching the trailer for “First Kill,” it was tempting to assume that Netflix’s new teen show got lost on its way to The CW. After watching the actual episodes, however, it’s necessary to apologize to The CW for the insult to a genre it’s done well for years, and which “First Kill” spends an inordinate amount of energy trying to duplicate without much success.
Based on the short story by V.E. Schwab, who also wrote the first episode and produces the series, “First Kill” dutifully sets up its YA supernatural show bingo board. There are bitchy sisters and ice queen mothers, overbearing fathers and wisecracking best friends. There are vampires, ghouls and werewolves. There are star-crossed lovers — vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) and vampire hunter Calliope (Imani Lewis) — caught between their family duties and raging hormones. Not to suggest literature’s most famous star-crossed lovers didn’t have it rough, but at least Romeo didn’t grow up learning to kill Juliet on sight — and at least Juliet wasn’t biting back on a primal urge to drain Romeo of his blood.
That’s the conundrum at the heart of First Kill, which charts the saga of Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook), the youngest scion of an ancient and powerful lineage of vampires, and her new high school classmate Calliope (Imani Lewis), the late-blooming baby in a clan of monster hunters. It’s a premise ripe for angsty drama, steamy romance and intricate lore. Alas, though the series tries to deliver them all, its eight-episode debut season is undermined on every front by bland execution that renders it more painless than addictive.

Following the recent announcement that The Punisher will not be returning for another outing, the cast of the beloved Netflix show found themselves with a rather unlikely ally in the form of rapper Eminem.
A few days ago, Marshall Mathers took to Twitter to call out Netflix for their decision to cancel the series, keeping his condemnation short and blunt, simply writing:
“Dear @Netflix, Regarding Your Cancellation Of The Punisher, You Are Blowing It!! Sincerely, Marshall”
Since Em Tweeted his message, both Floriana Lima and Amber Rose Revah have expressed their thanks for Mathers’ support, while star Jon Bernthal showed his respect for the rapper’s words, too. And now, it looks like another cast member from The Punisher is also happy to have Slim Shady standing up for the series.

And now, it looks like another cast member from The Punisher is also happy to have Slim Shady standing up for the series.

Marvel fans were left devastated earlier this week when Netflix announced it was bringing the axe down on both The Punisher and Jessica Jones, meaning that all five Marvel TV shows on the streaming service have now been cancelled. The only question that remains, is, will any of them be revived, perhaps in different forms, on other platforms?
Well, one star of The Punisher certainly seems to think that could happen. Jason R. Moore – who played Curtis Hoyle on the series – spoke to TMZ recently and said that he believes The Punisher could return one day, but thinks that it’d be awfully hard to get all the actors back together and so, Marvel may have to recast the roles.
“Man, let me tell you something. It’s going to be very difficult for them to collect all of us, like the original cast. It’s probably going to be...

The Punisher season 2 brought back most of the major players from season 1, including Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), Curtis Hoyle (Jason R. Moore) and Billy Russo (Ben Barnes). However, someone who was conspicuous by their absence was Micro – real name: David Lieberman – Frank Castle’s techie friend who was an indisputable aid in his war on crime last time we saw him.
It was a shame that Ebon-Moss Bachrach’s character didn’t make a comeback, but it’s not much of a surprise, as the first season ended with David finally able to go back home and be with his family after being on the run for so long. Obviously he wouldn’t want to hang around with Frank now that’s got a wife and kids to look after, but according to showrunner Steve Lightfoot, there’s another explanation for where Micro could be during the events of season 2.

Ben Barnes on becoming Jigsaw and Amber Rose Revah on Madani’s quest for revenge in Season 2 of The Punisher.
Two of the characters who return for the second season of Netflix and Marvel’s The Punisher are Billy Russo, played by Ben Barnes, and Agent Dinah Madani, portrayed by Amber Rose Revah.
When we last saw both, they had managed to survive the first season but not without considerable damage. Russo had his memory wiped and his face cut to ribbons -- the latter by Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) himself, who was enraged by his former friend’s actions yet couldn’t bring himself to end Russo’s life. As a result, Season 2 finds Russo suffering from mental damage, fear and ultimately anger, all of which put him on the path to becoming the classic comic book enemy Jigsaw.

Get ready for some violent brutality in The Punisher Season 2 is which Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) goes on a war path as he unleashes his fury on the villains that are coming for him. In this sequel, Castle finds himself going up against Bill Russo (Ben Barnes), a.k.a. Jigsaw, who is looking to get revenge on Frank and make him pay for what he did to him in the first season.
I hate to think that this is going to be the last season of The Punisher. After this, who knows when and where we’ll see the character show up again. So, we might as well enjoy this series while we have it.
Here’s the full synopsis for the new season:
Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) can run but he can’t hide from who he’s meant to be. Season two finds Frank in all too familiar territory.

Netflix has released a bunch of new photos for Marvel’s upcoming The Punisher Season 2. They feature Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle on a mission of revenge and kicking some ass. They also include images of several of the other characters in the show. I also included a couple new character posters that were released featuring Amy Bendix (Giorgia Whigham), and Jigsaw (Ben Barnes).
Former marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace a life as The Punisher.

The Punisher Season 2 is a big improvement over the first season. Hopefully Marvel and Netflix keep it going.
After seeing the titular hero brutally avenge the death of his family in both Daredevil Season 2 and The Punisher Season 1 in what felt like two back-to-back origin stories, Frank Castle is back in The Punisher Season 2. However, this time, with the people responsible for the murder of his wife and children dead (or worse), fans are treated to an exploration of what happens when Frank has to find his own war.
Anyone who knows me, or has had the misfortune of being cornered by me at a party in the last year, knows that I was not the biggest fan of The Punisher Season 1. It wasted a completely competent origin story gifted to it by Daredevil that ended with Frank Castle suiting up in all his trench coat and skull-vest glory,...

If Frank Castle’s first appearance in Season 2 of Daredevil and Season 1 of Marvel’s The Punisher taught us anything it is that no one leaves a trail of carnage behind like the ruthless vigilante played by Jon Bernthal.
Today, just over one week before the second season of one of the last two Marvel series on Netflix launches, the latest trailer shows the body count has risen and the villains are more crazed than ever.
“I dream about the Punisher every night,” says one of those villains, the returning Billy Russo Aka Jigsaw in the comics and portrayed by Ben Barnes in the new look at the new season. “He thinks he has the right to judge me,” adds Castle’s former friend and betrayer who was left for near dead with his face smashed in glass last season. “I want him to feel what I felt.”

Yeah, I know that the villain of The Punisher season two, Billy Russo, will not go by the name of Jigsaw in the series. But, he’s still basically Jigsaw, so I’ll just keep calling him that because every great villain need a good sinister name.
Anyway, Netflix has released a clip for the upcoming season that put the focus on Ben Barnes’ character as he is in therapy. It offers us a glimpse into his state of mind, and this is the session where the therapist talks about creating a mask for himself.
As you know, Frank Castle jacked Billy up in the first season, and the affects of that are going to haunt him and fuel his hate and evilness.

The Defenders may have largely vanished, but there’s one Marvel figure that still has life on Netflix. “Marvel’s The Punisher” unveiled a Season 2 trailer, indicating that there’s some stories that have yet to be finished within this Netflix antihero ecosystem.
Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, a military veteran who takes on a new role as a renegade crimefighter under the name “The Punisher.” As the events of last season’s finale hinted, Castle’s season-long foe Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) might be well on his way to becoming the famed Jigsaw villain from the comics that he’s inevitably been heading toward.
Though this mainly teases a season-long Punisher/Jigsaw showdown, “The Punisher” will also welcome a pair of new characters into the fold: husband and wife schemers Anderson and Eliza Schultz. The two extra antagonists are played by Corbin Bernsen and Annette O’Toole, the...

As for the premiere date, in a now deleted tweet from the Netflix account for the Middle East and North Africa, it was shared that the series would premiere on Friday, January 18th. If that doesn’t change, we won’t have to wait much longer before we see Frank Castle back in action!

If you’re excited about The Punisher season two, we’ve got some new information to share with you regarding the story. Those details come from showrunner Steve Lightfoot, who talked about the theme of season two:
"If you ask, ‘What is the theme of Season 2?’ It’s about Frank really adopting the mantle of The Punisher."
So, it looks like Frank Castle will embrace being a vigilante this next season and will be going full Punisher. Watch, this season is going to be epic, and then Netflix is going to cancel the show!
Lightfoot went on to explain that season two will not start off in New York City. It will instead start off with Frank Castle on a tour across the U.S. and then will end up with him returning home to wrap up some loose ends. He explained that the first few episodes of season two...

Netflix recently announced the new films and TV shows coming to Netflix in January of 2019, and in that announcement we learned that The Punisher season two will be among them!
There’s no specific date given yet, but we won’t have to wait much longer before we see Jon Bernthal back as Frank Castle! Unfortunately, this will most likely be the last time that we see the character on Netflix. I’m sure they will cancel the series shortly after it premieres on the streaming service like the rest of the cancelled Marvel shows.
Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada previously hyped season two, saying, “It is just crazy stuff. Crazy stuff. It’s going to be exactly what fans want. And Bernthal, Bernthal is Bernthal, man. He’s a force of nature, the dude."
We don't have any confirmation of the story that season two will tell,...
