Enrique Iglesias is revisiting his 2022 single “Espacio en tu Corazón,” but this time releasing it in English as a duet with Miranda Lambert.
On Thursday, the Spanish star welcomed the singer to his pop world with “Space in My Heart,” which hears the two musicians sing to a love-to-be.
“You don’t love me yet, but I know you will,” they harmonize in the chorus.
The track is an English-language reimagining of Iglesias’ ballad from two years ago. The Spanish version hears Iglesias sings to a love that got away.

Best New Artist past and present nominees united! Colombian rocker Juanes, who won the award back in 2001, performed alongside several of the nominees in the category at the Latin Grammys in Seville.
Armed with his guitar, Juanes ripped through his heartbreaking single “Gris.” The song reflected a moment of marital struggles that he faced while in quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic with his wife and family that they fortunately worked through. Another bright spot to the performance was the team of Best New Artist nominees behind him like a chorus.

Over the last few years, María Becerra’s easy-going personality and versatile style of singing has made her a go-to collaborator in the Latin industry. She’s known for standout guest verses on songs with the likes of J Balvin, Camila Cabello, Natti Natasha, among others. But on her latest project, Becerra wants people to fully hear her.
“When you a collab, you have to adapt to the other artist and combine your identities,” she tells Rolling Stone. “You really can’t do what you’d do with your own music.

Manuel Turizo was in Madrid when Chris Martin called. Coldplay was on tour in South America and the band wanted the Colombian star to join the band in Bogotá to perform his smash hit “La Bachata.”
Turizo immediately agreed and caught a flight to his native Colombia for the show. He’s still windblown: “I was in shock,” Turizo tells Rolling Stone over Zoom from Miami. “The fact that they invited me to perform was insane. It’s like a bucket list moment for sure. I did that!”

Automatic perreo from la Nena de Argentina. On Thursday, María Becerra released her single “Automático” and accompanied it with a queer-coded, Fast & Furious-esque music video.
“‘Automático’ really is a dream song for me. I have always listened to old perreos and old reggaetones and all the time I wanted to do something like that,” the singer said of the song in a press release. “I think that with this song we achieved it, so I am very happy with the result.”

An Ar booty! J Balvin and Ryan Castro represented Colombia at the MTV VMAs. On Sunday, the reggaetón stars performed their recent single “Nivel de Perreo” as an augmented reality-built woman (with an augmented reality booty) shook her behind to the duo’s collaboration.
Balvin in a zebra print outfit and Castro with a muppet-like red sweatshirt — reminiscent of Balvin’s Vibras LP cover — took the stage to sing their summer single as both the giant Ar lady (and a set of dancers) showed off their assets to the song’s infectious beat.

Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina are repped hard on Tini’s new single, “La Loto,” featuring Anitta and Becky G. On Thursday, the Latina queens released the golden, vintage-style music video of the trio dancing and getting glammed up over the reggaetón beat.
“Estamo’ armando un alboroto/Aquí somos puros corazones rotos/Lo que diga la gente me importa poco/Esta noche parece que pecamo’/Mañana nos confesamos,” the trio sings on the chorus. Prince Royce wants to know what his ex will say about him on new song, “Si Te Preguntan.” On Thursday, the bachata heartthrob enlisted Nicky Jam and Jay Wheeler for a heavyweight collaboration.
“You know how it is with relationships, people say, ‘Hey, don’t don’t talk too much smack,’ because sometimes they get back together and it’s like, ‘Damn, bro he was talking mad crap about and now they’re back,’ ” Royce tells Rolling Stone about the song.

Maluma knows that sex sells. One need only refer to his last full-length effort, 2020’s Papi Juancho, which returned the Colombian singer and bonafide superstar to smutty form following the arena ambitions of the preceding 11:11. His ability to pivot between the after hours sinful pleasure seeking of “Felices Los 4” and the Hollywood-polished rom-com accessibility of this year J. Lo starrer Marry Me shows that he’s a successful smooth operator in the music industry.
In the roughly two years since Papi Juancho, the Latin pop landscape has somehow both broadened and narrowed.

It took a while, but the 64th Annual Grammy Awards were finally presented on Sunday, April 3, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s more than two months after the show’s originally planned January airdate, which had to be delayed because of Covid-19 (again). With a new date, a new venue (this is the show’s first time ever in Sin City), last year’s host Trevor Noah back as emcee, and dozens of performers scheduled to take the stage, how did this year’s show go? What were the most memorable moments and biggest surprises, when it comes to both the winners and the event itself. Read on for my live blog of the festivities.
