Carol McGiffin is ''happier than ever''. The former 'Loose Women' panelist - who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year - has admitted that although the illness put a strain on her relationship with fiance Mark Cassidy, they're still very much in love. She said: ''We're probably happier than ever, grateful to be living where we live, being in the jobs that we've got. I wouldn't say we're more in love than ever, but we're definitely still in love.'' The 55-year-old star confessed not being able to spend quality time with Mark, 33, and their friends was one of the hardest parts of...

Charlotte Crosby had a cancer scare when she was 18. The 'Geordie Shore' star found a lump in her breast when she was a teenager and that, along with the news that her pal and former 'Celebrity Big Brother' co-star Carol McGiffin had been diagnosed with breast cancer, has prompted her to check herself more regularly. She said: ''I love Carol and it was a massive shock. Massive. It did prompt me to check myself more. I always worry about this and I've had numerous trips back and forth to the clinic over the years. I'm really quite sensible like that.'' Speaking about...

Andrea McLean has insisted that she won't be the next Loose Women panelist to join Celebrity Big Brother.
Nadia Sawalha, Coleen Nolan, Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch have all appeared on recent series of the reality show, but McLean thinks Channel 5 producers "wouldn't get their money's worth" with her.
She told Digital Spy at the press night for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in London: "I've said no all along. For one, I'd be so boring that they wouldn't get their money's worth.
"I've got no idea if anyone is doing it!" she added, when asked if any of her fellow panelists have been approached about the upcoming run.
Meanwhile, McLean said that she has no intention of signing up to any talent competitions this year as she wants to enjoy her summer without being injured, as she was last year while preparing for BBC One's Tumble.

Carol McGiffin says her relationship with her fiancé Mark Cassidy has been strengthened by her cancer battle. The former 'Loose Women' panellist was diagnosed with breast cancer last April and has undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy to fight the potentially fatal disease. Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee in the hot tub with Gary Busey; Helen Flanagan weeping relentlessly in the Diary Room; and David McIntosh parading around in Those short shorts.... the possibilities for this series of Celebrity Big Brother are endless.
So, as we eagerly await for the mystery(ish) celebrity guests to enter the famous house in Elstree, we've decided to reminisce with our favourite ever star contestants below:
1. Jackie Stallone
"Yeah, Jackie," were the only two words uttered from the side of Jackie's heavily siliconed mouth as she entered the house, draped in fur and dripping in jewels. Her entrance soon became one of the most memorable moments from the entire series.
It was part-Jackie's presence, part-Jackie's face that really shocked Brigitte Nielsen back on the show in 2005 when her former mother-in-law entered the house on day five.

Denise Welch has hit out at Myleene Klass over comments she made about Loose Women.
Welch - who quit the ITV talk show in October last year following a row with producers over changes to the programme - took to Twitter to say how disappointed she was in Klass, who claimed the show was previously "too ranty and misogynistic" before she joined in January.
Klass had told the Daily Mail: "I love Loose Women. It's nice to be able to articulate and get things out there. But I feel it was getting a bit misogynistic, a bit post-menopausal or pre-menopausal and ranty.
"That's not how women should be represented so it's nice they've refreshed the panel and we can talk about politics, fashion designers and what else is going on in the week."
After reading the comments, Welch tweeted: "Disappointed @KlassMyleene @McGiff. Sadly ratings suggest most viewers don't agree with you.

Denise Welch has quit Loose Women after ten years due to recent changes made to the show.
The actress decided to leave the series on Friday evening following a meeting with ITV's new director of daytime Helen Warner about the return of Coleen Nolan and Kaye Adams.
It was announced last week that the two former panellists would be returning to Loose Women later this month.
"Yes, I've quit. I was hurt that changes were made and kept a secret, and that the person responsible for the decisions hadn't come and talked to me about it," Welch told the Sunday Mirror.

Celebrity Big Brother comes to a conclusion this evening and six stars are still in with a chance of winning the Channel 5 reality show.
After weeks locked up together, the six famous faces can soon get back to their days jobs (getting drunk, singing '90s pop tunes, whatever it is Lauren does) and never speak to each other ever again.
But who will take home the series crown?
5ive popstar Abz Love is the bookies' tip, but he faces strong competition from Geordie bedwetter and wild child Charlotte Crosby.
The ever-understated Lauren Harries and shrinking violet Carol McGiffin can't be ruled out as contenders either.
Soap star Vicky Entwistle and Towie 'hunk' Mario Falcone look like longshots, merely making up the numbers at this stage of the competition.

The Only Way Is Essex star was called to the Diary Room and asked to create fake messages from the public about each of these housemates, before attaching them to tennis balls and smuggling them into the garden.
He wrote on separate balls: "Lauren is fake and a game player."
"Charlotte has been offered £1 million to pose naked."
"Louie is most boring housemate ever."
"Courtney is favourite to win."
He successfully convinced the other housemates that the balls had been thrown in by a member of the public and won messages for the four celebrities, whose letters were said to be shredded in a task earlier this week.
The letters task caused a row between Vicky Entwistle and Charlotte, who was upset about initially missing out on her family message.

Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan has backed co-star Charlotte Crosby after she clashed with Vicky Entwistle on Celebrity Big Brother.
Charlotte was branded a "talentless fat slag from Newcastle" by the former Coronation Street actress on last night's show after a discussion about receiving letters from home got heated.

Hagan tweeted after the show: "When a woman of 45 comments on a 23 year old girls weight I think that's absolutely rock bottom insult, when Vicky used to be big herself."
She added:
Respect is earned Vicky regardless of age, talking to yourself for abit of camera attention vicious old minger
