Relativity Studios will co-produce All Day And A Night with Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and also will finance and distribute the pic. Paul Ruehl and the late Lester Lewis penned the script, based on an idea from Goldstein and Daley. The title All Day And A Night is prison slang for “life without parole.” The action-comedy follows a TV news crew doing a story on a day in the life of two prison guards. Unfortunately for them, on this day a violent prison riot breaks out, leaving the news crew and the less than entirely competent guards stranded inside. Brett Dahl is overseeing the film for Relativity Studios.
Goldstein and Daley next will direct their script for Vacation, New Line’s reboot of the classic comedy franchise. Shooting begins in September. Additionally, their Horrible Bosses 2 will be released in November. Goldstein and Daley are repped by UTA and Hansen Jacobson.
