In the previous episode, Antonia and Gutierrez were determined to locate where Ezequiel had hidden Carla Ortiz. Their investigation led them to uncover the true identity of Ezequiel, who turned out to be Sandra, Fajardo’s daughter. Sandra, the real mastermind behind the murders and abductions, sought revenge and aimed to emotionally break Antonia by also kidnapping her son, Jorge. Now, the pressing question remains: Will Antonia be able to save her son, rescue Carla, and bring Sandra and Fajardo to justice? The answers lie in the final episode of the Amazon Prime series Red Queen.

Curse of the Mayans, also titled Xibalba, is a film which blends horror and sci-fi. A co-production between Lanczyner Films and Three Great Lights Films, this title involves a team of archaeologists, in search of Mayan codecs. They find something more sinister, in the Mayan underworld. The film, from director Joaquin Rodriguez, stars Olga Fonda (Real Steel), Carla Ortiz, Steve Wilcox and Bernardo Peña. Filmed on actual former Mayan settlements, the first trailer for Curse of the Mayans is here. A long synopsis talks of a civil war, on an ancient planet. The survivors fled to Earth. Moving ahead to the present, a group of expert cave divers are in search of a key that can reveal more of the Mayan culture. One diver steals a priceless artifact, which summons a second alien invasion. No one can accuse the filmmakers of Curse of the Mayans of being unambitious. The film...

Passengers on a departing Lax flight were asked to deplane on Sunday so that the bomb squad could investigate a possible threat, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Passengers boarding the American Eagle flight alerted the crew that one bag had wires sticking out of it, Sgt. Karla Ortiz told THR. Airport police were notified, and the Lapd bomb squad was brought in to investigate. The bomb unit determined that the bag with wires was not a bomb but instead belonged to a crew member of a reality TV show. Four of the show's crew members were passengers. The initial

Aldon Smith, a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested and charged with making a false report of a bomb threat on Sunday.
Aldon Smith Arrested
Smith, 24, was going through security at Los Angeles International Airport when he was selected for a secondary screening, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Sgt. Karla Ortiz.
According to Ortiz’s statement, Smith was "belligerent and uncooperative with the process and with the Tsa agent, making a comment indicating that he was in possession of a bomb before proceeding towards the gate area." When Lapd officers arrived, Smith was still “uncooperative” and was therefore detained.

Ernest Borgnine's final film, The Man Who Shook the Hand of Vincente Fernandez has been released on Blu-ray on the Indican video label. The following is my review of the film's recent theatrical release:
The independent production is a modestly-budgeted family comedy/drama that presents the legendary Oscar-winner with the kind of showcase role that actors in their nineties almost never have. Borgnine makes the most of it, too, giving a terrific and moving performance that earned him the Best Actor award at last year's Newport Film Festival. Written and produced by Elia Petridis, Fernandez centers on Rex Page (Borgnine), a cantankerous old coot given to griping about every aspect of life. He seems oblivious to the fact that he has an adoring wife (June Squibb), a devoted middle-aged daughter (Dale Dickey) and and a worshipful granddaughter (Audrey P. Scott). Rex is frustrated by his failure...

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Ernest Borgnine. I certainly do and I was certainly sad to hear about his passing in 2012. If you’re a big fan and want to see Borgnine’s final work, make sure to check out Indican Pictures’ “The Man Who Shook The Hand Of Vicente Fernández.” The film also stars Barry Corbin, Carla Ortiz, Dale Dickey and Tony Plana. Shaun Hill of Indican Pictures said nothing but nice things about Borgnine. “We loved this delightful comedy. "From Prada to Nada" cast made a trip to Los Angeles to attend the premiere of their movie in the Live Regal Cinemas on Tuesday, January 18. Despite the chilling weather, Camilla Belle opted an open pantsuit and a ruffled raw silk bra top that bared her midriff, making it an unconventional choice of wardrobe.
Joining the 24-year-old beauty at the screening was another lead star Alexa Vega. The newlywed, who donned a red Lipsy dress, was hitting the red carpet with the companion of husband Sean Covel. She completed her look with Sophia jewels, but she was most proud of her wedding ring which she flaunted in front of cameras.
Other cast members making appearance that night were Wilmer Valderrama, April Bowlby, Nicholas D'Agosto, Adriana Barraza, Patricia De Leon and Kuno Becker. Director Angel Gracia was also present, while other stars like Carla Ortiz, Fernanda Romero and Mason Cook came as guests.
