Mini's First Time (2006)
Trash
There are some movies that are bad, and there are other movies that are just so horrible that it makes me want to kill myself. This movie made it to my list along with Rosemary's Baby. First of all, could they have chosen an uglier girl? Well, fine, she wasn't hideous, and she looks decent in real-life pictures, but the girl for this part was supposed to be beautiful. She looked liked a trashy whore. Baaad make-up. And what was up with the valedictorian part? I couldn't hear how she got that. She said she was a straight-C student? What, did she kill every student with a higher GPA? And come on!! The beating in the prison! He attacked the guard, yeah, but it didn't seem like he was still fighting after he fell on the ground. What lesson is this supposed to teach us? What was the purpose of this movie? Well, I should have known. Any movie not shown in movie theaters is bound to be disappointing. What a waste of my time. I'm now 2 hours older, a bit dumber, and a lot angrier.
You Got Served (2004)
One of my favorites.
What's wrong with you people? This is one the best movies out there. So what if the plot isn't exactly the most realistic? It's as realistic as those of many other movies. Movies are meant for entertainment. This was more than entertainment for me... it was inspiration. The dancers in this movie are so talented. This movie combines comedy, drama, and dancing. How can you not love it? I've watched this about 4 times. I just want to watch it even more every time I watch it. I love this movie. It makes you want to dance no matter how bad you might be. There's so much energy in this movie. I usually feel lazy after watching movies. After watching this one, however, I was just so pumped up. Plus, Omarion is so cute!!
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
Wonderful
This is a beautiful movie. I watched it about 5 times this past weekend because they had a marathon sort of thing of it. If you're not in the mood for mushy romance, and you don't want empty humor, watch this. I think it's labeled as romance-comedy. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey are perfect for the roles of Andie and Ben. Kate Hudson is very beautiful and seems like she has a good personality, so it was amusing to watch her tackle the role of Andie. And Matthew McConaughey (drools), it was fun to watch him... play the role of Ben. It'll make you laugh, smile, and maybe even tear up a bit. This was a very enjoyable movie, and I can't wait to watch it again.
White Chicks (2004)
Hilarious
I don't know why this movie has such a low rating on this site. This is my favorite movie. I watched it twice yesterday. I could not stop laughing. I never get tired of it. Everyone I know who watched this movie enjoyed it. The plot may not be entirely original, but the director and the cast just take it to a whole new level. I also like it because it keeps you guessing--you think something's going to happen, but something else happens. Basically, if you haven't watched this movie yet, WATCH IT. You will be so glad that you did. It's really fun to watch. And after you've watched it, come to this site and give it a 10 because that's what it deserves.
The Obsession (2006)
Typical Lifetime Movie
I hate to leave negative comments. However, this has got to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It has an okay plot but the events and order of everything just messed everything up. The actors could have been better. Way better. It seemed like they read the scripts maybe once before they started filming. A lot of parts of the movie were very unrealistic. I don't know whose fault it is--the actors' or the director's. If you are completely bored out of your mind and have absolutely nothing else to do, then watch it and imagine the scenes happening the way you want them to. That'll make it worth your time. Sort of. This is such a typical Lifetime movie: overly dramatic, seemingly inexperienced actors, unrealistic, and a perfect ending. I was going to give it a 1/10 but I don't want to be so harsh.
Single White Female (1992)
Good movie
This was a pretty good movie but kind of unrealistic. Two things about the movie that bother me the most: 1) Dogs aren't dumb. They don't just jump out from windows and commit suicide. They have their "dog instincts" which protect them from danger. How could Allie not suspect that Hedy threw the dog out the window? 2) So, Allie's neighbors can hear loud music (which didn't even sound that loud) from their own apartment, but they can't hear 2 gunshots and Allie's screams? Hmmm... There are a few other things that bug me about the movie, but they're insignificant. Overall, it's a good movie. Viewer discretion is advised.
