Le lac des morts vivants (1981)
Considering the average level of zombie movies, this is a nice one
I know, it has a lot of mistakes. As mentioned by others, terrible makeup, stupid stories for sexplotation purposes, cables, cameramen, and so on visible. BUT, it has a better story than the other zombie films have. It has a nice love story, a touching father-daughter story, a decent explanation about the zombies origin (not only some guys dumped into the lake, the lake had its own story before that). it is entertaining, has a good pace and is different.
I have forgotten most of the zombie movies I've seen, but it would be very difficult to forget the Nazi Zombies and the little girl.
Otryv (2019)
I did enjoy this movie - Not american, maybe that's its problem!
This is a nice movie. You are excited from the beginning to the end. I liked all the characters, in my opinion there was a good casting. The story has several moments, I really felt fear in several moments.
I think that the problem is that so many viewers are used to the perfect bodies, the perfect faces, English all the way and luxurious places that they don't accept different ways of making movies, different beauty standards, different cultures, different values.
IMO, this movie was not boring at all. It made me remember Cliffhanger, with Sylvester Stallone, it gets a 6,4 , maybe because it has american actors and locations.
Motherless Brooklyn (2019)
This would have been a good movie IF... (very little spoilers)
I felt completely annoyed with those sounds and erratic phrases. It didn't help the story, didn't add anything. It was just disturbing.
The cliches are everywhere. Great women, great afroamericans, all the bad people.
The music has a narcotic effect.
Some parts make no sense.
Without these things, it would have deserved a 7 IMO.
Kursk (2018)
A lot of lies
1. Almost all the tripulation of the Kursk died immediately, ok. The few survivors died in the accidental explosion portrayed in the movie, ok. BUT, it didn't occur when the great european and american governments offered their kind help. It happened less than 10 hours after the accident.
2. No "bad government" problem. American or european governments would have made the same. Nuclear subs had state-of-the-art technologies, the most secret advances. Nobody could easily accept risking so much vital information.
3. The Kursk crushed into the soil at a 60° angle. It was impossible to achieve the rescue method protrayed in the movie. The Kursk should have been almost horizontal to get it. In the movie, the Kursk IS horizontal, it is not true.
4. The russian rescue subs "sold to visit the Titanic" had not been sold. They were in the russian navy. But they were not used for - now - obvious reasons.

This is a decent film
I don't understand how this film has got less than 3/10. This is a nice movie. Not a great one, but a decent one, entertaining, different, with some good twists.
It does have stupid moments, stupid actions, but, come on, this is not Psycho or It.
If you like horror movies, I think you will enjoy it.
Maybe some reviewers hate it because it is russian, and they cannot stand russian people...
