Cyrano (2021)

Enjoyed it entertaining

OK so I did not know a musical and really don't see the need. Peter's performance is excellent awesome acting but fell down on the music although I could hear Twangs of Bob Dylan. I surprisingly enjoyed the film but lose the music.

I liked this film , the subject is revelevant to the time but although I knew musical thought it made the subject flippant. That being said Ben's performance is worthy of an Oscar top notch and to be fair songs are good. Did I enjoy? .....thats another question put it this way I went supermarket after....needed more ice-cream and wine.

Ok , so i just saw this and was really looking forward to it. The storyline does not disappoint but there it ends. There is a brilliant cast of many, in my opinion, brilliant actor and actresses, but the acting is bad. Maybe too much to cram in? There are too many character and not enough back story to really engage.

Really well acted and some unsuprising laughs. Had my attention all the way through wondering which way tge film was going next. Excellent film would recommend

Criss cross tale of unfortunate lives. Has dark humour and a lot of gore. Not a bad movie for a low budget

With no cinemas ive taken to watching films online, caught this on 4. If you liked Parasite you will love this. Beautifully shot and an unexpected surprise at the end.

Cats (2019)

Ok but too much CGI

I had heard a lot of negative reviews about this film and to some extent i agree. The acting was ok the songs well sung and in particular love the new song written by Taylor Swift......but there it stops. For me it was ruined by over suse of CGI. There is some magical scenes where the ballet choreography would be breathtaking. But its been messed with to such an extent it just looks weird. Its watchable but could have been 100 x better shame really

Midsommar (2019)

Disturbing and gruesome in places . i can see some people will not like it but i loved it. Unlike Hereditary, which lost the plot half what through, this is a solid and complete piece of work. I wish more would bite the bullet and think outside the Marvel box. Loved it 💖💖
