Tough Love with Hilary Farr (2021– )

My aching head! It took everything in me to finish seeing Season 2. Episode 9, "Color Clash". The issue I had in this episode wasn't with Hillary; it was with Jennifer, Jason's wife. I give Hillary a standing ovation for the way she handled this very stressful couple. Not only did they (mostly Jennifer) not want to listen to Hillary's suggestions, Jennifer went behind Hillary's back to choose a different color for the kitchen cabinets. Who does that?! Even Hillary told Jennifer and Jason, "Why am I here"?

When the house was done, I'm sad to say that it was the only Hillary designed house that I did not like. It wasn't because of Hillary, she did her job making the house work for the family. I could not stomach the color choices that Jennifer and Jason (mostly Jennifer) chose. But other than this, I love this show and Hillary.

Better than I thought it was going to be

This is my very first anime and I have to admit that it was way better than I thought it was going to be. What intrigued me first was the title and then the story from watching the trailer. It had a Cinderella kind of story and I love Cinderella, so I thought I would give it a chance. I have only watched three episodes and I am loving it soo much that I can't wait for next week's episode. I wish I could binge watch the whole series, that's how much I love it. I kind of wish this anime could be a series with real people, but then I don't know if the storyline or the characters could be captured so beautifully as in the anime. I can't wait to finish seeing it!

Although I have only seen 5 episodes, I was hooked after the first 15 minutes of the 1st episode.. I adore the cast which is truly amazing and believable. I was first introduced to kdramas on Netflix and my playlist is mostly filled with them! I wish the USA would learn from kdramas on showing the respect between the cast and giving the audience a chance to use their imaginations instead of showing every sexual detail. Everybody should give Dr Cha a chance before forming an opinion that you will ultimately regret. The only problem I have with this show is that it's only shown on the weekends!!

Fixer Upper: The Castle (2022– )

I knew this show; "Fixer Upper: The Castle" was going to be good, but now that I finished watching it..... I have to say it was amazing! The transformation was incredible to see unfold. Chip and Joanna are geniuses when it comes to their craft. I've been watching their shows for many many years and you can see how much they have grown, not only with their talent, but with their love for family. I was hooked when I first heard Joanna say to the homeowners, "Welcome Home". I truly felt the warmth and comfort of these two words. I can't wait for their next project.......the sky's the limit for these two.

I have rewatched this movie several times and will continue to watch it as long as it stays on Netflix I was soo pleasantly surprised with Jimmy O. Yang in this role. After watching him on Crazy Rich Asians, where he was such a jerk and now on Lovehard where he was a sweetheart......he proved to be an amazing actor (and singer). As for the chemistry being shot down between Jimmy and Nina, I have to immensely disagree. They were soo true to their characters that I thought they might be dating in real life.....very believable. I loved the whole cast, especially Harry Shum Jr. After watching his incredible acting skills in previous American and Asian movies, I could not believe that he chose this role to play as Owen. I applaud his incredible ability of acting diversity. Haters.......if you don't have anything nice and uplifting to say, then zip it. There's enough negativity in the world.

Alchemy of Souls (2022– )

WOW! Amazing!

I just finished watching Alchemy of Souls and I was blown away with the outstanding cast, special effects and storyline. I was pleasantly surprised at the end of episode 20 that a second season will begin in December! Yay! I absolutely can't wait to see what happens in the next season. In my opinion, this kdrama has the quality and worthiness of Academy Award status. I have to also give praise to the writers and director.........their talent is over the top and I know the second season will not disappoint! I am in awe over the amazing story telling by the writers and the directors ability to convey the writers story from the written words to the big screen where the characters come to life.

Finished the second season.......boy was I amazed that the second season was just as good if not better than the first season! This one caused me to cry a few times, the love story is very heart felt I hope this kdrama wins many awards because it and the cast deserve it.

Stop over analyzing this little gem of a movie. This is a feel good movie that I will definitely be watching again. I loved the chemistry between Ravi and Ash; I hope to see them doing other movies together.

This movie was not only entertaining, it has become a rewatch over and over again. There have been many movies that got bad reviews and after watching them, we were pleasantly surprised and glad we didn't let the haters influence us.

I don't care for basketball, but after seeing "Hustle", it made me want more. It made me want to go see an actual professional basketball game.....Go Lakers! Adam Sandler was amazing in this film; he deserves an Oscar.

I kept putting off watching this movie and now that I've seen it, I regret not watching it in the movie theater! It was way better than I thought it was going to be. I hope the Academy awards several Oscars to this very deserving film. Each of the characters were played brilliantly by each actor and actress. I especially loved the gowns, Oscar worthy! Oh and last, but not least....amazing music choices!

I absolutely loved this movie! I love every movie Billy Crystal has made, so I knew this would be another good one. Tiffany has blossomed into an amazing actress and I'm looking forward to seeing her again. Thank you Billy for making this very enjoyable movie and keep bringing us your talent!

Wow, I am surprised at all the negative reviews! Don't rely on other people's opinions, watch and form your own conclusions. If I would've relied on past shows or movies reviews , I would've missed out on some great ones. I love love love this show. The actors are amazing, especially the writers daughter! She will go far in this business. I like to be entertained and this Kdrama checks off all the boxes for me. I look forward to each show and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next week! Thanks for season 2!

It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud and Yvonne Orji's HBO special did just that. After watching her show I had to record it and now I rewatch it every time I need some joy in my life. I wish her the very best that life can offer, especially because she honors her mother and father so beautifully......I love her parents too. They bring that warm and fuzzy feeling into your heart, making you smile like a fool.

I have to say that this drama has moved into my top 3 favorite shows. I can't wait to see the next show and I find myself becoming more and more emotional with the development of Lee Chae Rok and Shim Deok Chul's heartwarming relationship. The director Dong-Hwa Han should be given a standing ovation as well as an academy award in my opinion. I look forward to seeing many more shows by this amazing director and awesome writers Lee Eun-Mi and Hun. The cast is also academy award worthy. They work so well together.... outstanding job of cast choice!

I too liked the African journey better than the Asian one. Too much drama with the one girl who NEVER should've been allowed to return. And as much as I love the show, watching the hosts wardrobe was an eyesore, especially Becky's, her looks should be complimented with a top designers collection. Who ever dressed them should be fired!

I agree with abusby. I had to fast forward a lot of the teenage footage. The sex and drinking was way over the top. If it wasn't for the mom I would've stopped watching in a split second. Georgia makes this series watchable.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the best Snow White actress of them all? Not Kristen Stewart. I struggled through this movie because of Kristen's ability or should I say no ability to carry the lead of this awesome movie. I gave it 3 stars only because of Charlize , Chris and the cinematography.
