Road Trip: Beer Pong (2009 Video)

Unoriginal, lack of humour and pretty much useless

9 years after the first road trip was out this new instalment brings back DJ qualls (kyle) who takes potential new undergraduates to show and tell them of the college.

Not as anywhere funny or original as the first one this movie does bring a few laughs, but nothing major. The movie is highly predictable and does not allow the watcher to connect with the road trip. I felt with the first and second road trip that the viewer can feel part of the movie which was not the case with this one. This is a straight to DVD release which tells you a lot about the movie.

If you have nothing to do and have some beers in the fridge and snacks i'd recommend this movie. If you want to actually watch a movie and make time for one, this is not it!!

Ninja Cheerleaders (2008)

3 hot girls no ninjas, and very poor action sequences with poor attempts at humour.

Just watched this movie today not expecting much from it. The girls could hardly pull of a kick or a good looking punch! The humour isn't really funny in the movie with only a few jokes to giggle at. I do have to say that the hot chicks make up for the not so good story line and action sequences. I would not really waste my time watching this, if you really have nothing to do then go for it! The plot line is blatant and all scenes you can picture them before hand its a typical low budget movie. I guess its more of a "girly" movie than anything! I gave it a 4/10. Could have been much better but not bad to watch and pass your time.

**********************SPOLIER ALERT*********************************** The movie basically evolves around 3 teen age girls how want to get an admission into a institute called browns. They have been best buddies since ages and attend a martial arts school. Their teacher (Hiroshi) gets them to do errands for them at night. The main plot is about an evil mob boss who kidnaps Hiroshi because he owns the a strip club belonging to the mob bosses family. The cheerleaders have to save Hiroshi whilst winning a competition at a strip club to raise enough money to go to browns and at the same time pull of a dance routine for the schools basketball team.

Sweet movie! Good laugh and night in. Enjoyed it a lot!

Having not seen the previous movies to this, I am judging this movie solely as a standalone. Firstly I don't really like movies where there is no action/suspense and fighting (typical guy movie) but to be honest I quite enjoyed this movie. The movie has a good mix of characters with their own reason for joining a cheer leading team. Throughout the movie you do understand why they would want to join such a team. The movie has a good selection of songs and very cool dance moves with a lot of hot girls ;) The movie isn't just another teen flick to come of the Hollywood conveyor belt because it does actually flow and have a fun story line to it. I would not go out and watch this in the cinema because personally I don't feel that its a big hype movie. Non the less it is very fun to watch and does not bore you. I watch some movies and they are so rubbish that most of the time its on I just wonder about something else. There was not one moment in this movie that I was bored by it! Great movie to watch in with your partner and would highly recommend! Cheer leaders rule!!

The movie has a basic plot outline; a team of rival cheerleaders want to make it through a competition to represent America in the internationals. The two rivals the Sharks (the goodies) and the jets (the baddies) meet at a camp where they must compete to win. During the visit they are given a lucky charm by an instructor which they can't lose...what do they do> lose it! Due to this an an evil curse is released upon them leading to catastrophe. To have a chance of making the internationals they must join forces to take on a highly skilled opposition team! In between this there is a love story between sharks captain and a member of the jets leading to a lot of trouble and mischief. The dance moves are awesome! and carried out well. I won't tell you who wins the competition...watch it!!

Doom (2005)

Doom - Doomed

I have always waited for the doom movie to be made! but i was utterly disgusted to see what it had to offer! What the heck was the people involved in the script thinking?! This is an "outkast" to what Doom should be about! There isn't even a lot of guts, which may not be important but i think it is! The storyline is also abit out of place. Overall the film is nothing what i expected it to be and i doubt anyone who is a real doom fan will find this to be a true reflection of the game! I'm sure you must know there is Rock in the movie? The twist that he comes with him being in the movie is appaulling! I'm sure you know what i mean if you have seen it.
