Kahaani (2012)
Good but....
There are some who are troubled to be conveyed immediately. Even though the whole film is good and complete .
First, Mr. khan is a friend of mrs. Vidya Bagchi's husband. How could he not recognize his best friend's wife. Moreover, Arup Basu is a government agent who is a victim of Milan Damji. Intelligence officials will certainly not forget the figure of Arup Basu, including Mr. Khan himself. How is the storyline of the film not mentioned at all ~ except for a little at the beginning and a brief conversation.
Second, Milan Damji, who from the start was depicted with the genius, ruthlessness and power of a criminal who made the audience wonder what he was like. In the end, these expectations are cruelly let down by the film. He didn't even look like the ruthless man who had defected from the country's best intelligence agent.
Sang Penari (2011)
Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk is Fusion Film
There are rarely Indonesian films that can hit the story. From initially dealing with issues of love and culture, it penetrated the realm of politics and history. The whole is well combined successfully.
Kol (2020)
You will love this film until the ending destroys it
Watch it! You will love the genius and original storyline. But wait until the ending breaks the whole film. I mean, come on ...! The ending is an important element in the storyline of the entire film where the film is finally finished, before the screen turns off. It is not permissible for an ending to be forced in such a way as to fool and override logic. The audience is not as stupid as they think. Oh yeah, also the concept of timeline is so linear.
Jamila dan Sang Presiden (2009)
Good Job from Ratna Sarumpaet
I never suppose that Ratna has been too genious with this movie, before she slipped at the real indonesian politics
The Hurt Locker (2008)
The Terrible Impact of This Film
Admittedly or not, a war film is expected to give a message of how terrible a war conflict is. Whether it's the destruction of a civilization, a miserable people, famine, or even psychological trauma. Take for example from the point of view of the miserable civilians, there are "Rwanda Hotels", "Grave of the Fireflies", "The Pianist", "Schindler's List". Or point of view of troops who are depressed to experience post traumatic disorder, such as "FullMetal Jacket", "Platoon", The Deer Hunter "or" American Sniper.
While this film is very little about it - only the wind blows past. I do not reject the originality of the screenplay/script and the technicalities in it, but the rest is like promoting how great, exciting, cool and amazing a war is. How the tagline of war is drugs attracts the desire of young people to appear "dashing" to waste their lives in the horrors of war in the name of beloved country.
Ang-ma-reul bo-at-da (2010)
The main character is too superior.
Bloody movie and so brutally. but for the story this film is bored. The main character also too powerful. In every fight scene always win.
