After a point the movie starts to bore you.... I expected more quirks but the dysfunctional family was busy with their own issues... Movie has touched lots of sensitive unspeakable issues of society quite nicely... But then again it's not everyone's cup of tea as in ideal world every family is super perfect. Personally I was expecting a little more...seems something was missing.

Warning: Spoilers
Simple location, simple dresses, body language with zero confidence - but a hard hitting plot and direction. actors did have got the grip of the local dialect, local goons and have presented it so effortlessly, that you cant help but just love the movie - must watch!

rascism served in slow flame
26 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
All they (a group of friends- far away from family) wanted to celebrate the wedding of their friend and a place to cook a traditional special dish Axone !!- but the butter chicken/paneer makhani loving people not only disgust the food from the land of seven sisters but treat our own ppl from not very far away land of seven sisters as outsiders. Each frame / scene is so well captured - so well rooted, every emotion is captured so well - you will feel the pain of theirs - the best part the story not for a single second deviates from the plot.

Lockdown binge watching
13 May 2020
My cousin was insisting me watch this show from quite some time...and I only got a chance to pick this during this lockdown time, trust me I haven't regretted a bit - such strong characters, well crafted and narrated, you love them, you hate them (Arturo specifically) but you can ignore them... #BellaCiao

Guilty of watching it
10 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is definitely not a thriller!! The story revolves around the #metoo phase but sadly failed to connect with common man... It's a messed up venture... Instead of delivering a strong message to youth it can be misleading on so many levels.... Wish they have worked on editing and direction a little more.
