Follows a group of girlfriends from Nagaland and Manipur, north-eastern states in India, gathering in the back streets of Delhi to throw a secret wedding party for a soon-to-be bride. Terrorised by their rottweiler of a landlady and with their boyfriends utterly useless as help, the group's already disorganized plans soon go further awry. As the women cook the traditional Axone wedding stew (a pork stew with pungent local herbs), neighbors complain about its powerful smell. However, they are determined to prepare the aromatic dish. With the challenges brought on by cultural difference and the pressures of being migrants in a seemingly unfriendly city, is food and love enough to save the day?Written by

Axone tasted yumm- Watch it for the racism, the sweet people NE are and the folk music
My love for the north east people made me like the movie. Read many reviews on Sayani not being a typical Nepali but i loved the way she acted in that part being naive and caring . The music was so nice, the drums kept the rhythm of the movie going.
The cast and the characters in the small sweet indie film is really worthy to be watched and loved.
Axone tasted yum because I know the taste and smoked pork is amazing to the tastebuds and soul
